Love this store there is a sweet young girl Ashley that went above and beyond to help me I usually don’t leave reviews but she has helped me several times now and she’s great definitely an asset to this store !
The workers are always so kind and the store is well stocked. I have gotten my hair products from them for about a year. Last visit, Ashley was there and was super sweet to me, I was having a hard day and she leaded me a ear while she was doing her job. Ashley rocks!
Came for my wife. We actually had someone greet us at the door and take us to exactly what we were looking for. We were in and out quickly with exactly what we were looking for.
Very stressful experience. Younger, Long blue haired lady would not leave us alone the whole time, constantly following us and asking if we need anything every five seconds and was very entitled and quite rude. Made us feel very rushed and not able to even think, so we left and didnt buy anything.
I can’t remember a time they didn’t have what I wanted, and they usually have a couple other cool things to look at, too. The employees are super helpful. I like that they’re still letting people call in and pick things up without going in the store.

This is probably the worst Sally’s I’ve been to. Usually very nice and polite. Lately so rude and entitled and yes I know we are in a pandemic. We are still your customers and deserve some respect. Don’t rush me out of the store or look at me like I’m an idiot when I try to walk in and you haven’t counted how many people are in there so it’s my fault you’re over occupancy??? Trying to never go there again.
I bought a mascara here, and I opened it the next morning getting ready for work and it was so dry I vcouldnt even use it. I added water and it was still bad. I took it to the store after work to return it and the lady said that they cant return it. What a waste of money and Ive never been able to not return something at Sallys I think that that was just a ridiculous situation
As soon as me and my sister walked into the store, the two employees were hovering over us the whole time as if we were going to steal or something?? And there were plenty of other customers in there who walked in unquestioned. They did not leave us alone the whole time it was creepy. We will not be coming back here.
Had the absolute WORST service at the Orem location. Came to the Provo one to see if it would be any better and oh my goodness, it was a completely different feel in the Provo location! As soon as I walked in, Annie helped me right away and really made my whole experience better! She was cute, happy to help and welcoming. Whoever manages that store, Annie is AMAZING!!
Update : I went to Beauty Supply and the employee closed the door in my face two minutes before 9:00 pm. When I asked the employee if I could buy something quickly she told me no. There were still two or three customers inside the store when I asked her. I used to love this store because it used to have great customer service. I guess some of the employees now are too lazy to care for the customers.
Courteous and patient even though I had misplaced my cash - (I know I hate being behind people that do this) I had to put an item back. The gentleman in front of me had just done the same thing, but this cashier kept her cool and was kind, helpful and even a bit lighthearted. What a wonderful employee. Great personalities cant be taught! I looked for a name on the receipt but no luck - this gal definitely deserves a raise!
I came during open hours. And either the employee just sat in the employee room and wouldnt open the door or answer the phone; or they just locked the door and didnt feel like opening today. Super disappointing.
They cant keep off the phone, so we cant call in to see availability in products.
They were very helpful! HOWEVER PLEASE NOTE: ask more than one associate for help/advice. There is one girl there who is a little ditzy and it wasnt until another associate overheard that I found out the stuff she was recommending to me was kind of useless.
I wish I knew the name of the associate who helped me. We were having a crisis right before closing and needed more hair color. She helped me to get the product I needed by helping me find it over the phone and then had it all ready for me to pick up when I got there. I live about 20 miles away from this store and have one closer to my home. But I will be going out of my way to go to this Sallys based on the experience that I had. Thanks!

You can find a lot of good products that are not common in other supermarkets. Hair and skin products are great here.
I had the WORST experience here. I went around 8:45 pm to buy some shampoo. I went to purchase it and my card kept declining (even though I had used it hours previously with no issue). So I would have to go all the way back home to get cash. I told the girl at the register that I wouldn’t have time since they closed at 9. She then said, “no, we close at 9:30.” I was surprised since online it said 9:00, but since her coworker was right there and seemed to have no objections, I believed it. She asked if I would be coming back tonight and I confirmed that I would. Upon returning at 9:01 PM, the store was closed. I saw the coworker and knocked on the window. After several times knocking she opened the door. I said, “you guys said you closed at 9:30,” to which she replied that they closed at 9, that the other girl was new and told us wrong. The only problem with that is that this coworker was standing there the whole time listening to her tell me they closed at 9:30! I told her I would still like to buy the shampoo, but she refused to sell it to me, saying the store was already closed (a minute ago). So shocked that people think they can treat customers this way after misinforming them and inconveniencing them. I will not be shopping at this location.
A trip to Sallys is usually for my wife but with such competition as amazon prime I am happy that they keep their store so well stocked.
Previously employed with Sally Beauty Supply in Provo for 5 months. Terminated my employmentship in December 2016 with this company for ridiculous, unethical and THE most unprofessional reasons. The management got away with a lot of illegal things and the company was notified about it not only by me, but several of my coworkers. Their response was we are working on it. Several months past and nothing was done for punishment or investigation of it. If a company does not care about things like that, thats a huge red flag. DO NOT BE EMPLOYED AT SALLY BEAUTY SUPPLY. ESPECIALLY THE PROVO LOCATION. Do your research on this company and what other employees have to say about this company before you apply for employmentship here. Management is horrible and the upper management is even worse. I regret not quitting earlier to make me see the light of how ridiculous me working there was.
They are so helpful here. They have a great clearance section too!
Quickly grabbed a few things and went to the register and waited and waited. No employee in sight. Finally I walk to the back room because I see a door open and tell a lady sitting at a desk that I am ready to checkout. She looks at me like Im an idiot and says, ok. I make it back to the register and all she does is yell, Sierra! And then a girl Im guessing Sierra walks in from taking a smoke break and checks me out... (I know this because I saw her smoking outside but did not initially know she was an employee.) I will go elsewhere, where employees are readily available to do their job.
Received SUPER RUDE service when I went in to get a product for my wife. I tried to explain her situation, and the girl listened for about 5 seconds, sighed and rolled her eyes, handed me the nearest product on a shelf (about twice as expensive as my wife said it should be), and walked away, while I was STILL TALKING. I just put the product back and walked out. I dont know if theyre sexist against men or just rude to everyone, but this store will never see any of my business.
I have had good experiences at this location of Sally Beauty. Prices are generally reasonable and the selection is good.
