This place is really nice and cozy, and I love it. They have a really good selection, of all different Asian goods, and something I also noticed is it doesnt have like a ton of say like Chinese product, then like only a little bit of other Asian products. But its a really decent amount of things for each like region if that makes sense. Like if youre looking for Japanese foods, Chinese foods, Thai foods, and such youll be able to find it and a good amount for what your looking for which I thought was really neat. Its a bit of a smaller building so obviously theres not a huge amount of variety that they can carry, but I feel like they do a really good job of getting everything that they can fit, so chances are if you are looking for a more of a lesser known thing, I feel like here would be your best bet. The employees here are really kind as well, and I just really enjoy shopping here! You really have to go to really get a feel for what Im trying to say though. All in all, I highly highly recommend here!

An incredible source for a very wide variety of Asian cuisines as well as a small selection of kitchenware and even some incredibly nice glazed bowls, spoons, pots, etc.Dont be thrown off by the cramped, old feeling to the interior. This is an incredibly good store that probably has whatever you need for Asian cooking and plenty more besides. And I guarantee that youll walk out of the store with at least twice as many things as you had on your list, haha. Im always finding new things that I just have to try.A few examples of what they have: fresh lemongrass, whole parrot fish, apple snail meat, everything you need for boba teas, kimchi, king oyster mushrooms, several dozen varieties of ramen from Japan, Korea, etc, raw/fresh noodles, mochi, sashimi-grade tuna cubes, steamer baskets, rubber-freaking bands for all your kinky needs I guess, fresh-made rice snacks at the counter... You want it, they probably have it lol.Oh and the staff are always incredibly kind and helpful and, of course, at least one person there can often help you interpret whatever writing is on a package, particularly in Chinese and Japanese in my experience. This local business is absolutely deserving of your support! And after visiting Im sure youll agree ;)**PLEASE NOTE: once or twice I have found a product that was past the sell-by date. This is not usually an issue in the supermarkets we all are used to because of high turnover and comparatively low variety in products.I dont dock any points from the review for this because its frankly understandable and I have no idea how they could possibly keep up with every single item. If this were a supermarket like WalMart, I would absolutely feel differently. Please just check the dates on everything youre about to purchase and, if something is past the sell-by date just (kindly!) inform a worker and theyll be glad you told them. This has happened relatively rarely to me but it is something to keep an eye out for.If you dont notice the expired sell-by date until you get home or you *really* need that one thing, know that a number of things are still good for consumption for a time past the sell-by date. Look it up online and odds are the product will be just as good and perfectly safe. Always check, though. Of course, returning the item is always an option as well. Im just lazy and would rather not go through the trouble if I dont need to haha.

Been here a few times already, it’s just a tad further than I’d like it to be. The store itself is pretty packed with food from aisle to aisle, and aisles are pretty narrow to begin with so if there’s two of you in passing in one aisle, one, has to back out or else they would be invading your intimate space. However, this store has tons of variety of food from Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Thai, and Korean too. I’m pretty happy with what you can get here, especially having it be in Utah County (which lacks Asian grocery stores).I did come here last week and stocked up on snacks, Asian sauces, and other necessities. I did notice though, after I got home, that one of the items I purchased (ground chicharon = grinded up pork rinds) had the “sell by” date of May 2020 - say WHAT?! I was just there last week to buy this (November 2020). This item has been on the shelf for 6 months passed the “sell by” date.I’m assuming the “sell by” date of May 2020, means that maybe a week or two, it will then be no longer “fresh” to eat, therefore, why is it still on the shelf for purchase? In addition, I asked a young employee there to see if they carried it, and he said no. Two minutes later, I found it myself. Huh. So....this leads me to believe that:1. The employees are not fully aware of what they carry and sell.2. They don’t frequently check shelves and expiration dates of items they are selling. It’s great and all that this Asian grocery store exists in Utah county, but I think it needs improvement on the management side. Again, this store is not super close to home, so this is a money loss for me since I’m choosing to not drive 18+ miles one way to exchange/return this item (I bought 2 bags of it). If they kept their shelves up to date, this wouldn’t have been an issue.

The store has everything I have ever needed as far as Chinese food products go! I love that the store has a feeling of another culture. The store is pretty neat and has a lot to look at. The store has drinks and treats, and everything you need to cook a Chinese meal. There are very few employees, and the are distant. I personally feel like I cannot ask questions, because there is only a cashier visible in the store.

Asian Market is a staple in my world diet. They offer a wide variety of ingredients and products from other cuisines (even the Pacific islands), allowing me to have the best value pre-made dumplings Im aware of, spices and rices my local grocery stores dont carry, and plenty of import treats like genuine Tim Tams.Stop in and wander their rows to see what theyve got that youve been missing or didnt know youve been missing. Case in point - ditch plain old beef or chicken ramen noodles and pick up some Indo Mie Mi goreng noodles. Buy a whole box of 30 and you save money with bulk pricing. Youll never go back to the old instant noodles. Also, as, a speaker of Mandarin Chinese, I can say that shopping here is a great place to go for some continued practice. I know several of the staff speak it, but Im quite confident Ive heard different languages spoken by others still.Havent utilized it, but behind the cashier I think Ive seen notices for cooking and/or language lessons. So if youre looking to connect on things like that, you might be able to find it here. Im quite sure these are not offered by the store itself, but rather that its a community board that people have been able to post on.

I know this is not the store owners fault, but the parking is pretty bad. Almost got hit 3 times just from backing out. People just wiz on in the parking lot not really looking where they are going. I generally go for ingredients for Japanese food, but Ive seen things from Thailand, Indonesia, China, Korea, and probably other places Im missing.
