It was a Sunday morning 06-27-2021 8:40 am. I had a choice to make go get free food, that I just helped put out for people at Kennedy Plaza or walk to 7 eleven and purchase food. I am fortunate enough to be employed today and off the streets. So I made a choice to go buy a coffee and and a muffin at 7 eleven. I proceeded to the counter to pay. The total was $2.13 I pulled change out from my pocket. The very kind person behind the counter told me directly. Im not taking change. The gentleman behind me offered to pay for my purchase. I declined the offer. I had a backpack with food in it. I was just in the mood for a coffee. I took the change back. Called the employee a choice word of my understanding. I left and thought about it. Walked back in took a picture of him and where I saw him put the coffee and muffin. I was so tempted to walk back up to him and push the issue and hand him a $100 bill. I looked at it and it said clear as day on it, in god we trust. I stopped said a prayer and walked away.
Every time I come here between like 2am and 5 am the door is always locked and there’s no one in sight. Stop saying your 24 hours if you aren’t accessible 24hrs
Its 7-11. In Kennedy Plaza.
Supposed ti be 24 hours, but I came at2:39am at it was closed. Called more than 4 times and was ignored.
Bombarded by people outside, but I understand not the locations fault. Large variety of food and basic 7-Eleven prices. Kind and respectful staff. Will stop by soon!
Great food selection, great prices, no gas.
A lot of panhandlers at night cops dont do nothing they will follow you in to store and wait for you to come out asking for money but the mayor of providence and governor tie the cops hands on cleaning up the city
The earnest, hardworking staff here are honestly under-appreciated. Here is a family run franchise that supports the pvd community. As for the sketchy people, they come in peace and its more of a shelter and gathering place instead of a threat. There is no reason to downrate a store that fulfills its purpose because one feels uncomfortable. There are decent sales here on some stuff but its definitely the og 24hr stronghold in downtown.
The cashier wore his mask under his chin and he coughed right onto those pizza
They like to steal money
I came in for a soda and candy bar. They didnt have any sodas that pleased me, which was surprisingly odd. Didnt have a huge selection of candy bars either. I didnt see a bike rack, but it has easy access from RIPTA. :-) Both doors are not in use as entrances. I hope both can be used as exits in case of emergency. Store felt smaller than a typical 7-Eleven, and smaller than it appears from outside. Its so NOT a TARDIS. Laugh!
Expensive. But associates are decently respectful.
Place is a no
Unfriendly staff and bums always hanging out at the entrance smoking and harassing customers for money...I will not be coming to this place again.
Not the friendliest staff and the clientele can be sketchy.
Mad convenient
Pretty nice
Owner is pushy
