One of those place you wish you had in your neighborhood. Only seating I saw was outside.The cafe is part of Dash Bicycle Shop tucked under a white flag in between the big red signs.I had the almond milk latte with a double shot of espresso. It was bold and earthy, just how I like it. The breakfast sandwich was served between two slices of freshly baked sourdough bread. Im coming back for that bread...holy cow it was good. My husband had the vegetarian wrap with avocado, roasted potatoes and egg (if you consider that vegetarian). It looked really tasty. They do have vegetarian options that dont include egg as well.

Someone gave me a rec to this place and didn’t even know it was there. Have driven by a few times thinking it was just a bike shop but they’re two places in one - bike shop/cafe’. The sourdough breakfast sandwich w caramelized onions was next level. It gave me life! (Great for glyphosate intolerant people). Employees are all mad cool and attentive. Try the sea salt maple latte - bomb 💣 ❤️🙌🏼

The wait time for nitro bar is long. Also we were not aware but one have to download their app and make payment online. Then can pickup the order in store with order no. ( average wait time is 30 min). The wait time is worth for the coffee. I liked regular nitro coffee more. Had high expectations for blueberry nitro coffee. But it was just fine. Friendly staff.

This quickly became our go-to neighborhood coffee shop during our visit to Providence. I tried their oat milk latte - hot and iced - and iced matcha latte. All were delicious. We even bought some ground coffee for back home. This is more a grab-and-go coffee shop unless you sit outside. But it’s all it needs to be. Also loved all the plants inside.

Such a cute lil hipster coffee shop. Im not a big coffee person, but I love their lavender iced latte. if you drop by in the summer time, make sure to get their watermelon lemonade 😍 its absolute deliciousness and so refreshing. their vegan cookies too--ooofff!! parking is a little bit of a pain on the weekends after 11am, but you can ride your bicycle here and admire all the other cool kids 🚲 too 😁

This place is amazing! Someone made their dream come true which involved bicycles and a cafe. 🚲☕️ Their pesto smash breakfast sandwich (house made pesto, cheddar cheese, local soft-boiled egg, sliced avocado, tomato, local microgreens served on an everything bagel) was amazing and an instagram masterpiece! Their vegan chocolate chip cookie was delicious! All of the people working in the cafe were friendly and kind. Even the patrons were smiling and talkative. Visiting from Seattle, arguably the coffee capital… this place is top notch, better than any nitro cold brew back home, and some super interesting combos like blueberry oat milk… I didn’t try that one but now I want to.

My friend in the area recommended this place and I loved it. Coffee was good and I didn’t try the food but they looked delicious. Would definitely come back when I am in town next time.

Me and my girlfriend got the breakfast sandwich and it was so good. The flavors just burst in your mouth. I really like the combination of ingredients that is packed into this sandwich. I totally recommend this!

Favorite place in Rhode Island to get my coffee. I love getting the CEREAL MILK LATTE. Best latte I’ve had in my life. Literally. The flavor is so unique and I get excited anytime I can get my hands on one. (It’s seasonal) I wish it were a year-round specialty drink because it’s too delicious. The Sausage Egg and Cheese sandwich is yummy also. The sourdough is perfect. I’ve tried maybe 4 or 5 different types of drinks from Nitro and had 2 sandwiches and I’ve been satisfied every single time. The staff is also extremely nice and attentive. Nice group of people working there. Thanks as always!

Fabulous coffeeshop/bike shop. They offer a variety of reasons, coffee, and super delicious breakfast sandwiches.

Coffee and drinks are good, but dont order food, they havent figured out how to run a kitchen yet, took an hour and a half and they gave our order to someone else.

I really liked trying out this care/bar, the coffee was great, the atmosphere new and saucy, and it is clearly unique and memorable.

Honestly a hit or miss experience..Customer Service is spectacular, but espresso could use some work. Sometimes my latte tastes wonderfully perfect & sometimes it just taste like steamed milk.. there just needs to be more consistency here! food is great - lattes are inconsistent

Gotta love the Nitro Bar. This location has a beautiful atmosphere inside and of course, delicious nitro. I just wish I could have it on tap in my own house. Thankfully, they have growlers of nitro to go! I havent seen this anywhere else and think this is genius. 10/10 would recommend

Great Peppermint mocha double shot coffee. Made in house not premade prebought syrup. Absolutely wonderful. My daughter has been a loyal customer for several years now. Loves the cold brew coffee. She will not drink another brand. 💕👍

They have the best coffee ever. Their nitro is pure magic. It is so flavorful and can be had black. They also have great (sometimes pricey) seasonal lattes and drinks. The seating area has been expanded and the space is filled with beautiful flowers and plants. This place is so homey, it is a must stop.

I get Nitro nearly every day. This spot is incredible. The dirty ‘chata is my favorite, but I’ve tried nearly every drink. The lavender and Wilbur are others favorites. Their food is spot on as well. All in all, can’t recommend enough!

As a fan and follower of The Nitro Cart, when the The Nitro Bar was announced, I lost sleep thinking about my first visit. Everything the team at Nitro Cart does is high quality, from their marketing, to community involvement, to their enthusiasm for their products. I knew they would bring the same level to The Nitro Bar.The service was warm and welcoming. The place was buzzing but not overwhelmingly so, and the churro-latte combination was a 10/10 (and refreshingly different). The nitro vanilla latte is one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend this place enough!

I was in town and this place was right across from my airbnb so I gave it a try. They are order online only right now but dont let that stop you. The coffee is amazing. I had a chai iced latte w oat milk and was very good! The sandwiches are also amazing. I had a sausage egg and cheese which was fantastic. Took one star off because online it said my sandwich came with microgreens on it but there were only about 5 little sprouts on there when I opened my sandwich. Nonetheless, very delicious!

Much too expensive for Nito cold brew

The Nitro Bar never disappoints and may be my favorite coffee shop in Providence west of the river. The location is quaint (located inside of Dash Bicycle) and both the food and beverages are terrific, made with quality and care. The nitro cold brew here may be the best I’ve tasted anywhere - which is good considering the name - and their draft lattes are always a treat. To truly lean into the millennial cliché, the Avocado Toast is some of the best-seasoned and flavorful I’ve had, but even better is the breakfast sandwich with rich, flavorful anduja on a both robust and delicately-flavored crusty biscuit.You’ll absolutely pay for the quality you get here (although this Midwesterner’s perspective on costs might not track here in Providence), but it’ll be worth it. The attention to detail and small luxuries on top of overall quality makes The Nitro Bar a repeat visit every time I’m in Providence.

Great spot for coffee. I had my first horchata here as well. Staff are so well organized and so friendly. Its a small space so they have to work quickly because a line forms all the way to the door. Its a funky little location where they also have a bike shop. Great mix of customers with space to sit at the bar or a few tables around the bar. Space to sit outside as well on a really nice street.

Place is a bit confusing, as it sits inside/connected to a bike shop, so it could be hard to miss. Us, being from out of town, kept looking at our map unsure if we were actually at the location. However, once we saw the sidewalk sign we realized it was one in the same.. glad we walked in the door. Excellent nitro. I ordered mine black, it had a bit of a nutty flavor and had the creamy smooth texture. Prices are typical of a local coffee shop. As for the service, the ladies that were working that Saturday morning were friendly (especially the one making the drinks) and kept up with the crowd and their orders.

Delicious coffee! I drink it black so I imagine its even deliciouser with sugar and cream.

*edit* I would like to amend this review. The original review is still valid and how I felt upon my first visit, but my most current visit has changed my overall opinion. Now, the beverages cannot be faulted. Theyre amazing. The coffee is actually amazing and I find it hard to find drinkable coffee in America. Its usually quite harsh and sour. The fault comes from the attitudes of the staff. Can they make amazing beverages? Yes. Do they make me feel welcome? Absolutely not. I felt like my presence was an annoyance and inconvenience to them. My sister and her husband, who live nearby and are regular customers, have been feeling this more and more when they go in as well. To the point where my brother in law is now refusing to go in at all. So my original 5 star review can no longer hold based on staff alone.*original review*Nitro is a very beautiful and modern coffee shop in a bike shop or part of the bike shop(?) The drink menu is varied and most interesting. I went for the Dirty wafer hot coffee beverage, and I enjoyed it greatly. In fact, all of the beverages my group ordered were fantastic. The coffee itself is one of the best I have tried in Rhode Island.

Latte was good. Breakfast sandwich loaded with eggshells; very disappointing as this was my first time.

Fantastic nitro cold brew and treats. Thier spot at Dash is really nicely done. Ive visited many times since they opened and love the new drinks theyve introduced.

The food and coffee is good but it’s absolutely not worth the price or the wait. Go to another place where nitro bar distributes their nitro cold brew and it’ll be less than $5. Or go directly to the distributor for nearly $7. Not to mention I had to wait 45 minutes for a breakfast sandwich and a coffee.

Overpriced, small portions, and always have to wait a while for w.e you order. Ordered 2 coffees today and it took over 30 minutes. Place is not worth it. The avocado toast was good but I definitely won’t be going here again.

A really cool place that just opened up in the Dash Bicycle Shop. They offer a small selection of cool nitro brews and some hot coffee options, though the hot coffee is not nitro brewed.To-go options are available, and seating is available for 20, with a bar you can sit at. Some light food options are available at the moment.Great place to drop off your bike and grab a coffee at the same time!

I have a difficult time finding good nitro cold brew and The Nitro Bar surpassed my expectations. Its definitely some of the best coffee Ive ever had and I will make sure I come here every time Im in town. Everyone needs this kind of coffee in their lives.

Amazing nitro cold brew and service. The only thing that was frustrating was they were only taking online orders but we didnt know that before we got there so I had to stand to the side and place an order and there was no one else waiting for an order. It felt silly that I couldnt order straight from the door and give them my card to pay but it was worth the wait.

Nitro Bar has by far the best breakfast sandwiches Ive ever had. Cant suggest highly enough.

Delicious drinks and food!

This place has the best espresso drinks. Me and my friend got the maple sea salt lattes. It comes with four shots of espresso. There is no bitterness. You kind of wait for it to come at the end like most espresso but it doesnt. It is not very sweet the drink itself. I would definitely come back. And they have a rewards card if you buy 6 drinks you get one free. I definitely recommend coming here.

Love this spot. Run by 2 genuinely amazing people who work their butt off. Theyve created an atmosphere thats young and very unique. The social scene almost feels as if youre at a bar but everyone is just drinking coffee and getting to know another! Also all their drinks are unique and I think they have the best pour over in Providence. Highly recommend stopping in and hanging for a bit

Great new cafe/cycle shop. There is a nice marble counter to sit at, or there are tables. Its very neat that there is a working bicycle repair place easily visible in the back of the cafe. The atmosphere is light and airy. The coffee and service is great!

Stop serving food at 3.... they often run out of stuff. If you get there early its good--quality of food items depends on whos doing preparation.I liked it the first time I went but sonething changed.Cant recommend...

This isnt their first location providing their coffee and theres a reason for that. They serve the best coffee in the state (as far as Im concerned 😄). Whether youre looking for a place to hang out or just want something to go, they give fit that niche. Give them a shot. In the end, youre giving a small Rhode island business a chance to prove themselves.

Nitro bar is attached to a bike shop, which really gave it a very young and on the go vibe. The coffee was on point, my only complaint is that there isnt too much sitting space. But I would definitely come back again.

Their dirty chai is my absolute favorite in the city. The staff is always super friendly and the stools at the bar are very comfortable. The best thing is that its so unique. A coffee shop/bike shop! I love it!

Very hipster, great natural lighting, very cute and aesthetic. The hibiscus iced tea was very good, great depth of flavor, not too sweet and the perfect tartness. The matcha latte was pretty mediocre - I liked that it wasnt sweet and was a little bitter, but the powder wasnt effectively mixed in and there were little clumps periodically when I was drinking it. The chocolate-coffee drink (dont remember the name) very good and tasty. There wasnt much coffee flavor, but very milky and delicious.

The coffee is great, the atmosphere is great, the service is great. Why four stars? Everything is very expensive. A large plain nitro is $4.50. its a pretty good size but still should be 4 bucks TOPS. If the coffee was a bit less expensive Id rate it 5 stars but this coffee is more expensive than Starbucks (Albeit a lot better than Starbucks coffee). Its nice to come here every once and a while when you want to splurge though.
