My husband and I are visiting Providence and ate here in their make-your-own section 3 times in 9 days. Were not vegan or vegetarian - we just look for healthy options when we travel. The make your own bowl is a good value at $12.50. Excellent and varied choices with big portions. Dressings could be more interesting.Beautiful location and design. Bright and airy.Jackie (sp?) was a super-friendly server on our first visit. Other staff seemed way less customer oriented - chatting aming themselves - and not fully trained. We know these are difficult times for hiring. Otherwise wed give 5 stars

This place is super cool. They have amazing staff. Everything is vegan. They also have cafe, place inside the restaurant where you can shop for some healthy stuff. They have one of the nest Nachos. Couldn’t get the dinning experience as the place was super busy but would definitely recommend based on the quality of food and especially the Ingredients used in it.

This place is super cool! We had excellent service and the food was great, not mind-blowing but definitely a hearty and delicious vegan meal!! I love how there are multiple restaurants, each with a different vibe, plus a to-go cafe and market. I also appreciated their ability to make most items gluten free (everything we got was gf!). If you come on a Sunday, the Providence flea is right across the street!

Went in early and was super impressed. There was a cafe/bar with a nice window view. Very nice people there and very classy and cool looking (food is pricey but all home grown). They actually had some PCD donuts and vegan and organic options. I later found out if we were to dine in, they have a lower level and upper levels (forgot which offered which) which includes a Burger Place, Mexican dishes and Italian dishes. At night time the outdoor spot is really cool with the lights. It is a must try if your coming or going to the Pedestrian Bridge.

Had the opportunity to have a outdoor luncheon with my girlfriends at Plant City. First time eating an all vegan meal for all of us. Surprisingly, I couldnt tell the difference between real tofu Buffalo style chicken to real chicken. The staff was friendly and helpful making for a great experience. FYI, theyll ask you as soon as youre sat, if you have any allergies to food because some of the sauces and dressings have cashew for an ingredient.

Our vegan friends brought us non vegans to Plant City. Apparently they used to have a system so you could order from all the restaurants within Plant City, but now you have to choose from one restaurant to order from. The vegan pasta sounded good, so we went with Double Zero. Our friendly waitress sat us in a cozy booth, where I got a nice view of the restaurant.$17 Cacio e Pepe - almond parmesan, black pepper cashew cream:Very creamy nut-based sauce from the very versatile cashew. The noodles were thick and chewy and the sauce clung well. If I didnt know what it was, it could very well mimic egg pasta with cheese.$19 Bianca Pizza - macadamia ricotta, cashew mozzarella, parmesan, rice mozzarella, pepperoncini, rapini, plant yolk:Very creamy once again. Another win for versatile fatty nuts. Also I never knew that rice could turn into mozzarella. Perhaps it was rice milk processed into faux mozzarella? The tart and bitter taste of the pepperoncini and rapini balanced out the creaminess. The best part was the dough.$18 Pesto Pizza - macadamia ricotta, zucchini, arugula, parmesan:Tasty. Not too difficult to make a vegan pesto pizza. I wouldnt mind if the zucchini was a bit more roasted.Food was tasty and service was very thoughtful. Some of the dishes could have used a bit more flavor, or just a touch more balance to all the nut-based cream sauces.

Nice sit down plant based eatery in Providence. My food was delicious. I came here with my husband and daughter and it was a nice experience. The nachos were the best weve ever had. My husband and I split the eggplant parm and the fried chicken sandwich which were good. My daughter who isnt vegan and just goes along with her plant based parents wasnt too crazy about the barbecue burger but really enjoyed the nachos. The interior was nice but once it got dark out the lighting inside got dimmer making it harder to take better pictures of the food. A bit pricey too though, but high quality makes up for it.

Awesome! It was absolutely best experience. We were there around 4:30 on the Monday evening, it was quiet, they served fast, food tasted superb. I am a big fan of plant based diet, so I wanted to taste everything. As a result I barely moved after :))) But it was absolutely delicious. Their Chile Relleno and Tlayuda were super good, very flavorful, filling, and Tiramisu too die for. They have 3 different cuisines to choose from, Mexican, American and Italian. The whole crew has to pick one cuisine, we went with Mexican. Theres outdoor and indoor seating and a bar, lots of spaces, two stories. On the first floor theres a bar and a little market along with some indoor seating. On the second theres a beautiful big oven for pizzas, you can see them being cooked.Prices are good, not too much, not cheap either.Staff was very courteous and attentive. Totally recommend.

This place was absolutely amazing I wish they opened one where I live! I was traveling and decided to give this place a visit and boy am I glad I did.Downstairs they have a cafe and burger bar, and upstairs they have a Mexican restaurant and an Italian restaurant. Everything is vegan, and it’s waited so the whole party has to order from the same restaurant. We went with the Mexican restaurant Besina and it was amazing. We ordered the Chile relleno (incredibly delicious, would highly recommend) as well as the tlayuda (kind of like a pizza on a giant crispy chip, absolutely delicious as well and would highly recommend ). You would not have known they were vegan. The queso was creamy and tasty and savory (made of cashew) and all the jackfruit/rice/beans were incredibly well seasoned. And it was so well priced too! Highly highly recommend.

While everything is vegan here, its not obviously vegan. At least that seems to be the case in the Mexican restaurant portion of Plant City. While I do admit that there was some confusion around the fact that there are three separate portions of Plant City with three separate menus (American, Italian, and Mexican), we were plenty happy with the Mexican food we had for dinner. And I dont mean to say it was good vegan Mexican, just straight up good Mexican. My sons nachos were solid. The pickled jalapenos on top were great. My wifes Chile Rellano, while very spicy, was equally tasty. And I loved my burrito. It was large and flavorful. Id happily order it again. The drinks, especially the mocktails, were very nice. And I really loved the NEIPA from Finback that I ordered. The meal wasnt cheap, but we walked away happy.

Great vegan food, great atmosphere and top notch service!Very impressed with the COVID safety set up— they have options for everyone. Whether you choose to dine indoors upstairs, order and take out from downstairs or dine outside with their first come first served fire pits, this place has 3 styles of restaurants and something for everyone. (The restaurants have Italian, Mexican and American flavor profiles). We chose to dine inside due to the cold weather and felt very safe with the partitions between tables and social distancing in place. Servers also ask that you wear a mask when they approach the tables which we were happy to do. All in all loved everything and will happily visit again soon.

My wife and I love Plant City. The food is always incredibly tasty, and the staff is downright friendly and helpful, but tonight they really went above and beyond. On 9/20/21, my wife gave birth to our first child. Wanting to celebrate, we decided to order dinner from Plant City on 9/21. Unfortunately, they were not delivering, so I left the hospital to pick it up. Upon getting there, the take-out staff exuberantly greeted me, knowing that I was coming from the hospital. They were so kind, asked lovely questions, and gave us two extra desserts to celebrate the birth (both desserts were heavenly, by the way). So, a big thank you to the Plant City take-out crew on the night of 9/21/21. Although one might fairly guess the “World’s First Plant-Based Vegan Food Hall” would reside in a city like New York or Los Angeles, Chef Matthew Kenney instead opted for Providence, a total of five dining concepts and market joining 29 others stretching from Buenos Aires to Dubai.A well-known name in the Plant Based community, “Matthew Kenney Cuisine” described as a California-based “lifestyle company,” it is amidst COVID-19 that Plant City currently operates as take-out only, the small widow adjacent South Water Street displaying several scratch-made Pastries plus a limited menu of Drinks, Mexican Food, Burgers and Coffee. An entirely touchless experience, Plexiglas dividing staff from guests and Cash-free, it was in exchange for approximately $30 including tax + tip that seven items were presented, the Almond Croissant not on par with what one might achieve with good European Butter, though good nonetheless, while a Chai Snickerdoodle and Chocolate Chip Cookie were soft and indistinguishable from those made with Eggs and Dairy. No doubt benefitted by nearby Universities, server and patrons both predominantly in their early 20s, Plant City’s seasonal Pumpkin Muffin struck all the right notes with bold-spicing and plenty of texture while sizable Pop-Tarts chock-full of Nuts versus Chocolate dueled for top billing over a Coffee Cake “Donut” that would have been more appropriately advertised simply as a round Coffee Cake.

Plant City is perfect for any occasion. I personally go there for business meetings which it is perfect for. One thing that is huge for me at any where I eat, is accommodating my many severe food allergies. When I was there today and taken care of by Angela Z, she did a great job documenting what I was allergic to and relaying that onto the kitchen staff. Thank you Plant City! I will be back soon!

The food was not super tasty but the drinks were good. I ordered the vegan Mac and cheese and the Chilli cheese fries. I also had a Buffalo burger 🥴. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. The restaurant needs to put more soul and seasoning into the food. The vegan cheese tasted sweet and not savory.

Had high expectations from this place but was in for a disappointment. The ambience and market place is good. The chocolate cake was nice but the entrees didnt have any flavor (missing basic salt and pepper).Between the hefty price tag and the flavor of food not going back again

Had the vegan mexican items for lunch! Most items were delicious except the burrito bowl which was very plain tasting. The chocolate desert was too tart for me personally. The pepper dish was amazing.
