Best vibe coffee discovered so farr

Considered a 4 Star rating because they don’t open until 8am, which I find annoying as a coffee drinker - but I was thoroughly appeased once I tried the coffee. I don’t care what time of the day they choose to serve it when it tastes that good.I ordered a Cortado and a drip cup of Columbian (Covid has them not doing V60 pour overs). The shot in the cortado was perfect. Well balanced, no acridity, and subtle sweetness. Best I’ve had.The drip coffee was delicious. It’s drip, but the quality of the bean and the excellence of their process behind the counter just made it an excellent cup of coffee.I also grabbed a breakfast sandwich - I had gotten hungry waiting for them to open, after all. Eggs were velvety, brioche bun was pillowy. The decadence was well beyond what I typically ask of a breakfast Sammy. I can not complain. I recommend it heartily.Service was friendly and clearly very competent in their craft. If you’re in Rhode Island, you’ll be missing out on something significant if you don’t get a cuppa this coffee.

It’s a beautiful space! The coffee was pretty good, but we didn’t love the doughnuts-they were a little too dense. I was just visiting, but regular customers were moving in and out and chatting with the baristas. For the half hour I spent there, I was a part of the local culture.

Cozy, little coffee shop with couches and magazines to take a break and get caffeinated. Roast their own beans and do it well, flavor of the house drip was great. With a little oat milk, couldn’t be better.

I actually didnt initially plan to review this place, as it almost seems like apart of the Dean. But I really enjoyed my experience with them. Their coffee drinks are very well made and their staff seemed very professional and trained. After ordering drinks one of the baristas asked me what our plans were, and so I explained the place we ended to have breakfast. He quickly got out his laptop and showed me another place that was even closer with more options. He even let me scroll through the menu. This was consistent with the type of service that The Dean offered in general, very personal and helpful. Id stop in at the Bolt even if I werent staying there!

Great eclectic coffee shop in the heart of Providence roasting their own beans. Americano was on point and the Barista was super friendly and informative. Highly recommend checking this place out. Excellent Third Wave experience. They also have a second location.

Cozy little spot for a quiet cup sitting on their couches or stop by and get it to go. The coffee is delicate and a great morning roast in my opinion. They have some knead donuts first thing. I tried the cortado which was lovely and the drip coffee. The barista said they use the same beans/toast for the espresso and the drip and I really enjoyed both. Definitely worth stopping by.

Wow. Just wow. Nestled in the heart of the city, Bolt is doing some really innovative things with coffee. Yes, they have all the standard fare from coffee and lattes to macchiatos and more, but they are also preparing some really unique drinks you just dont see anywhere else. Take, for example: the refresher. I love coffee and I love ginger beer, but I would never have thought of mixing the two. Plus, they even top it off with a spicy ginger chew candy! Somehow, its a match made it heaven especially for city strolling.

The best espresso and latte in Providence, in fact they pull the best espresso in all of Rhode Island. Up until recently, I would use my travel excursions to Boston, NY, Seattle & San Francisco to get my espresso fix. Finally little Rhody has a contender. If you are fortunate enough to meet Brian the owner, he will craft your drink with such precision, that you feel the practice, care and thought he puts into each cup. This place is worth a trip. Its become part of my ritual when Im in town. You may even see me lounging in the Hotel lobby with my dog & laptop, enjoying myself immensely.

These are pretty good roasters! The beans are a little dark but end on a buttery note. Very akin to other east coast roasters with heavy chocolate notes. Small sit space in the dean hotel with pastries from knead.

Its been a while since I went to a real coffee shop, but Ive been to some really good ones. I couldnt have been more impressed. This was a very small place, and kind of hipster, if thats what youre looking for. If its not, its still worth checking it out. The coffee was some of the best Ive had, and the barista was nothing short of expert. I say that with sincerity, as he truly was a master of his craft, which is a rarity nowadays.

Nice pull. Interesting espresso blend. Not my favorite espresso but decent. Tasty pastries. Edited review: went back two subsequent days. Pulls deteriorated. Espresso was served in a large handless mug which meant that it cooled off very quickly. Had very little crema. If you are an espresso lover maybe try somewhere else (however in full disclosure I didnt find a place downtown that was better).

Great ambiance. A cute little coffee shop located in the Dean hotel. I am not a big coffee addict but I got a small iced coffee just to try it. To be honest...I dont think I would be able to taste the difference between this $3 dollar coffee and a $1 coffee from McDonalds but this tasted strong and acidic when black. The flavors got better for me after adding milk and sweetener. I guess this shows you..once you go black you can go back.Service was good and friendly.

This is a great coffee shop! Definitely hipster, but welcoming! Seating is available with newspapers and books if you dont have anything to read. They have regular coffee and latte specials. I tried the NorEaster which was an 8oz. Eggnog latte with 2 shots of espresso. My husband ordered the mocha latte. The coffee was priced fairly for 2 shots of espresso, $4.5 each, however I would loved for mine to be bigger. Most of the drinks come in only 8 or 12 oz.We will definitely be back again!!

Coffee was good and I even bought a bag to take home with me. But the space is small and I brought my laptop to do some work but there just wasnt anywhere to sit and do work. As a business traveler I probably wouldnt be back for that reason. However the barista guy (baristo?) was definitely very nice and helpful, really good people person although he was waiting on me before my coffee so.i wasnt as talkative:) but he described the coffees really well and asked me what I liked, selected a coffee and he certainly got it right! So basically this review is based on the overall experience for me.

The cold brew is really strong and fragrant. Also the baristas a creative with their coffee drinks and made me a great one with ginger a few weeks ago.The food is also lovely, though somewhat pricey.
