Really great experience each time. Great selection of quality unique items. I mainly go there for their selection of drinks and snacks. Get Aloe Juice, Black Sugar Milk Tea, and any Yogurt Drinks. All good.

The people in this store are not friendly, not helpful, the cashier man is very lazy not even put the items in the bag after registered and paid.Dont go there! They just want your money! Go to other Asian Grocery Markets. They are better services.

Lots of Vietnamese and other Asian grocery items. They have cooking goods, utensils, general kitchen needs. Definitely a hidden gem. Visit even if you arent familiar with Asian goods. Try some snakes or drinks. Youll learn to love it.

We appreciate that there is a Vietnamese market in RI. They have most of essential grocery items that fit the diet of SE Asians. Items are not as diversed as Good Fortune but a good side is its less confusing and the price is a bit cheaper too.

This store is huge and a lot of selections of Asian products from Sauces, Noodles, fresh vegetables, frozen items and so many great dried items. BRING YOUR OWN BAG as they don’t provide plastic bag.

Great Vietnamese and Asian market. My wife loves going here, as she can get a good majority of the food she loves to eat from here home.If you’re looking for non standard cuts of meat, for ethnic dishes, there is a good chance they will have it here. I always see pork neck, pork legs, pigs feet, ears, and things of that nature. They also have chunks of blood, which is needed for certain dishes.The vegetables are very fresh, and very cheap. They have most of the standard vegetables you would see in a normal supermarket, plus the ones you probably have only seen in photos or movies.They also have some fruits, but not as many as vegetables. They seem to focus mainly on fruits that are common for the Asian taste. A lot of them are very sour, and I personally don’t like them, but my wife always has some fruit when we leave.Frozen foods are well stocked as well. We haven’t gone through them too much, but they seem to have a lot more than you would think.They have fresh seafood, as well as frozen seafood.On weekends, they also have some fresh prepared foods. Quantity is limited. They may even have them on weekdays, too, but I’ve never seen them on weekdays, only weekends.And the best part, their food has gluten. Mmm.

This is a go to market. I buy all my Chinese, Korean, Thai, Japanese etc. staples here. They have a great produce department as well as fresh fish and meats. The prices are great and the selection is vast and top quality. I always pick up something from the prepared foods on my way out, sticky rice heaven.

Bring your own bags.

This place has gone downhill so much. Bought a whole chicken got it home and was rotten it stunk so bad after taking the plastic off I almost threw up.

This is my go-to market for asian items. Its pretty big and they have a huge selection. I think most things are priced well especially considering many if not most of them must be imported. Most goods are from east asian countries like China, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, etc.. They have a decent frozen food section with a lot of tasty items like pork buns and assorted deserts. They also have a produce section, fresh fish and meat, and home goods. Huge selection of noodles and drinks. Most recently I tried a type of noodle I had not had before that comes in a black package and is called Singapore Curry. It has noodles in a red curry broth that tastes similar to Thai red curry, sweet and spicy with a coconut flavor mixed in. They are incredible. They also made the uncooked noodles in a circle shape to better fit in a pot of boiling water. If your looking for an asian market with a large selection, this is it.

The variety this store carries is beyond amazing. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful with any questions i had. Bring your own bags. I was also happy that they took cash. They cut and prepare their own produce and meats and have a significant amount of frozen items too. For 100$ i filled a whole cart with food . If you are looking for a good place tp shop Asian- look no further!

This place is amazing. I havent found a better Asian market in RI. I was able to find literally everything on my shopping list, thats a first! Good produce, though most isnt labeled in English. You need to know what youre looking for! I cant complain though. So glad I finally checked this place out, a few of my coworkers had recommended it and now I see why!

I really like going to this store for the variety of items they have. Its low staff usually when I enter, although they are still helpful. The store is fairly organized but you have to know what you are buying first so you wont get lost. The store mainly has Asian items just so if you wanted to know what international food is there. I couldnt find mochi though...

Lots of variety here. If youre not familiar with Asian markets just poke around and check out everything. Great choices for rice, noodles, vinegars, sauces and more. They have just about everything you need to cook up a tasty meal. I really like their selection of greens. Wish they had a better variety of fruit though.

Nice large Asian market. Its not nearly as big as H-Mart (we just moved from the Boston area) but it has an amazing selection and even a small section of vegan frozen meats. Also a nice selection in the fresh produce and young coconuts!

Not fancy, but can find what I need there. Have not bought fish or meat. Has that typical Asian market smell. Found staples of soy sauce, sesame oil, dried mushrooms, noodles. They also have the fire noodles(for those looking).

Good place to get your Asian food

This market was awesome. Had a huge selection of items, meats, and vegetables (for winter). Definitely was impressed. I didnt have time to explore everything (the store is huge) but am looking forward to going back.

My go to azain market

V-Mart is one of the few Asian food stores in Providence I consider going to. The store carries most food items for most Asian countries that use specific ingredients when cooking or making appetizers or snacks. They are mostly associated with Vietnam culture but Laotians, Cambodians and people of Thailand shop here as well. Some foods are expensive though, especially in the meat and fish section. The owner is nice and the cashiers are friendly and helpful.

A lot of frozen internal items. Large selection of fresh produce. Some baked goods. Fresh fish department.

V mart is great for a lot of exotic food. Although the place looks and feels old, and dingy and smells bad. If you get over that then this you stop for alot of hard to get items. Though now with good fortune super market down the street I dont know how they will compare.

Nice large southeast Asian market. Can find almost any Asian ingredient you need here except for dashi (couldnt find that the other day). So far it seems very nice and clean, but its still new so I hope that lasts.

Their food selection is great, veggies are usually very fresh,l. They have a butcher section for fresh meats and various types of seafood.

First visit and definitely wont be my last.Extremely stoked to find yet another market that stocks South East Asian groceries, vegetables and herbs.Reasonably priced fresh produce as well.Will definitely be back to try the seafood again sometime.

Its a nice place to buy some asian food. Its clean and have enough place to park. Its easy to locate through gps.The price of wonton is a little bit of high, but taste good.One of not satisfied part is: Ive checked the packages of dumplings and steamed bread. There is no producing dates or any expired dates. None in any package of the specific brand, which I know its a very famous brand. But no dates？ I wouldnt buy it. Please check if there is any dates before purchasing that brand

Great selection of asian foods, from fresh seafood, fresh veggies, canned goods, snacks, noodles, etc. Price is OK, (viewing from perspective of NYC Chinatown native) there is actually 3-4 other asian markets within 10 minutes drive but i would say V-Mart is the best in terms of freshness of foods, range selection, and pricing.
