Ordered some supplies from their website. They arrived in a timely manner and were well packaged. This is a reputable, dependable online retailer.

Most colleges and universities have big book stores but at an art college what the students need are art supplies and this store has an incredible selection of art making materials. They have a small section of art books, RISD t-shirts and sweatshirts but most of the inventory is high quality art supplies. If you like to create art this store will make your eyes bug out.

Pretty unforgettable. RISD is such a cool place. Too bad this shop doesn’t represent it well. Come here if you want some el cheapo RISD swag. They have a tonne of stuff on sale. Staff are very quiet and friendly. Would recommend if you want some merchandise. Otherwise it’s not really a gift store.

This art store had just about anything that you would need as a designer, artist, and/or architect. Everything was neatly organized and easy to find. The staff was helpful. The back has an upstairs area with a cafe and printing materials.

Prices are okay but the staff are genuinely interested. Decent store with a fat selection and variety of tools for art.

A great shop for not only RISD swag, but for art supplies for almost all of your art project needs. They also have a great selection of art books that are fun to browse. Prices are a little high, but not by much. If you go with a RISD student they can get you a 10% discount :)

Great for student art supplies. Thats what its there for but dont expect to find a large quantity of professional grade supplies. This store was geared towards the students at RISD. If youre looking for professional grade products, try Jerrys artarama up the street or Blicks

The RISD store is a fantastic place to pick up art supplies. I particularly like their selection of drawing pens. They also have a wide variety of drawing pencils and graphite. Of course, you need paper, too, and they have a good selection. (I think they might have more in the Metcalf store, though.) I am often tempted by the sketchbooks. They have many to choose from, including some very nice, but expensive ones. They have a few knick knacks, and RISD-branded stuff in the back of the store. The large RISD umbrellas are excellent, by the way.

Good food, great espresso. Lots of Vegan items on the menu but still had a killer Asian noodle salad with brisket 😍
