Meh.. it was okay. The first table they put us at was wobbly so we asked to be moved. Our server wasnt the friendliest and in her obvious retirement she should probably be doing something different.The food was tasty and the pancakes were decent. Not sure how many times we will return. There are similar places closer to our house in Monroe. Overall it was okay.
The food was very good. The portions were large. The price was moderate. The wait staff was very good. I highly recommend this diner if you want good food and good service.

Very good food. I ordered a cheeseburger and it was pretty big and it came with a lot of fires. The customer service is great and the food came pretty quickly and i was with my family in a party of 14!! Highly recommend
Excellent Brunch! Fluffy pancakes, perfectly cooked over easy eggs and 3 thick slices of tender pork roll. The coffee was delicious. The OJ was sweet. Couldnt be happier with their service and the tasty meal! Thank You Princetonian!!!

Food was okay, but new ownership was apparent. Servers need to pay more tentative attention to the needs of customers. Also, Cooks - go easy on the oil and fats with the meals! A good cook can turnout great meals with minimal use; just saying...

Excellent experiences (many) in the past, but at lunch 8/4 over an hour to get our food. Some items were spoiled! Cole slaw for one. Dreadful experience.Canned-tasting gravy. Loss of trust now. Inexperienced waiter.
Service was quick and very polite. The food was good. Im from South Jersey and my husband and I were looking for a diner experience. My husband ordered pancakes and I chicken and waffles. They serve it with a sweet gray on the side which I was skeptical but it was actually surprisingly delicious. I would definitely order again. I do need to mention that we felt the booths were a bit on the slim side so if youre a larger person you may check to see if they have a more comfortable seating arrangement for you. It we were up in the area again we would most definitely visit again. Hope this review helps others in there decision. We personally like to read before taking a leap. Lol ENJOY!!
Great eggs Benedict and delicious Omlet. I especially liked the hash browns. Nice staff. No complaints, would go back for sure.
The food was your diner average. Honestly, we cant complain about food. Lots and lots of menu choices, good and budget-friendly prices. But... the service, overall, was on a sloppier side, with the waitress forgetting what she already brought and what she did not. The bathroom door, secured by a piece of fringed duct tape and the restrooms dirty and sticky floor didnt make us want to go back.
Although we are living in tough conditions. Princetonian diner is still consistently nailing it. Im not a regular customer but I have been coming since I was a kid. Im 54 now and the food and service has always been top notch. In the restaurant business, consistency is key. I definitely recommend trying this place.
Had the chicken and waffles for breakfast it was one of the best meals Ive ever had! Service is great. Coffee hot and delicious. Highly recommended.

The waiter with glasses was extremely disrespectful and was in a rush, wasn’t kind. Got lucky if I got a please, thankyou. Don’t recommend the service is horrendous. I would’ve waited to write this review but by the time the food comes out I’m going to be 100 years old.
Waited 25 minutes for a table but not because of covid-19 restrictions - because of no staffing. Also because of inadequate Staffing, waited another 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge we were sitting at a table, then waited another 25 minutes for our food which came wrong and undercooked. There are too many good places around to even consider going back here.

I dont know what it is with this restaurant their food is not all that great including breakfast which was horrible at the time.The only exception seems to be the baklava which is very good.They seem to be very particular who they want in there restaurant. For example as I walked into the restaurant to be greeted; I received a reaction of disappointment instead of a invitation.As a result I have not been back at the restaurant since that time.
Im in search of the best Belgian waffle special (waffle, coffee/tea, small juice and side of meat) - and this place didnt have this combo on the menu as a special. They did have a French Toast breakfast special, but so do most diners. I got just the waffle and a side of bacon and some hot tea (which I usually order instead of coffee). No juice. It was just about $13 - which seems a bit pricey. Bacon was wet and flavorful - the way I like it and the waffle was the expected size. I prefer my bacon on the side (since I usually add butter and syrup) - see the picture. Service was good - prompt, friendly and responsive to my requests. Place was relatively clean and well organized. Large dining area and I liked the handicapped ramp and bathroom.
We were the first customers of the day and were greeted by a very friendly hostess and waitress. Ordered our beverages which were promptly served and then we ordered our meals. I ordered blueberry pancakes and eggs and my wife ordered an omelette. Both meals were excellent and the portions were large. When in the area we will definitely stop on for a meal again.

Are you kidding me? If you havent been here, definitely go. Lots of options, excellent food, comfortable seating with great service. My parents might as well have met at this diner, the food tastes like your Nana was working all day to make it for the family and you know theyre doing something right after soo many years in business.

We have been coming here for a few years. We stay nearby when we come to visit Six Flags several times per year. We look forward to coming here as much as visiting an amusement park. The food is incredible, portions are pretty big and the staff is always pleasant and accommodating. I will continue to visit when in the area!!
Food was disgusting! The table was sticky from neglect and just sheer lack of attention. Back to the food, they severed me salmon-ham. I ordered salmon, but received something that tasted very similar to ham. Honestly I nearly got sick. Last and only time I will frequent this establishment!!!! 🤢🤮
We needed a breakfast on the road and here this was. Service was less than expected with one order missing its ingredients, prices were higher than the average Jersey diner, and the food was simply palatable.

Ive been touring diners lately and this one is by far above and beyond the rest. Service with a smile. High standards from management. And excellent quality food. French toast was slightly crispy on the outside yet fluffy and soft inside. Tomahawk skillet- advertised as hot hot hot- was flavorful. Incredibly so. The heat wasnt overpowering like too many dishes seem to be these days. A truly rare attention to details is observed by the (I assume) owner, an older Greek gentleman. When something didnt meet his standards, he actually stepped in to assure a maintained high quality of service. Best diner Ive been to in 28 years.

I only ever get breakfast for lunch here and it is always great. Its not the nicest inside but hey its a Diner with good breakfast food. Good place for a quick bite to eat especially if you are on a lunch break, they really accommodate for the lunch rush.

My husband said his gyro was one of the best hes ever had. My steak and eggs was good. Service was good. Bathroom needs to be cleaned better - thick cobwebs on the wall and thick dust on the ceiling exhaust fan. Almost made me want to leave. I notified the manager - said they would take care of it....
Coffee was decent and the pancakes were the best I ever had in a diner. They tend to overcook their omelets until the eggs turn brown and burn the toast!Very friendly service, though. 😊
Classical roadside American Dinner with boxes. If you are visiting the area (you are a tourist) try this Diner, it gives you a good feeling about a lifestyle if the 60-70 with authentic furniture, big portions and classic American food. Dont worry toy can also eat here international food too.

My friends and I came here after completing the escape room right across the road. Our group of 7 had a great time here, all of the food was amazing and our waitress, who was a young lady with curly hair and glasses was extremely polite and went above and beyond to serve us. The french onion soup was really good and the Reeces Pieces shake was a great dessert. I definitely would like to come back here sometime. If only it wasnt so far! Inside has a nice classic diner theme. Very clean and homey feeling. Definitely recommend coming here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!!
Excellent burgers! Half pound, Angus, done perfectly. Lots of variations, great flavor. Some of the best burgers youll find anywhere around here. Other food quite good too - just that the burgers seem to be a little known secret. Give them a try!

Everything from diner classics and traditional Greek specialties to more modern bistro style dished.This diner is on Route 1 and is convenient to Princeton, Lawrenceville, and West Windsor.I highly recommend The Princetonian Diner.

I came here with friends because one of them had highly recommended this diner. The pancakes were amazing, and the waitress serving us was absolutely attentive to everything our group needed. In fact, she helped some of us pick our orders because we couldnt decide between what was delicious and what wasnt. Thank you to the staff and everyone providing great customer service. Ill definitely come here again, when I pass through New Jersey.
I have been here a few times. I recall the food being decent in earlier visits. However, with my recent visit the food was rather mediocre. Our waitress, Eileen was interesting and honestly I got a kick out of her sense of humor, but some of it was off color and a little offensive to others in our group. I had a good time overall but definitely see room for improvement.
Ive lived in Princeton for 6 years and have gone here more times than I can count, and have NEVER had a bad experience. The food is always delicious and served quickly in large portions. I typically have leftovers to take home. One of my favorite things is that they serve breakfast 24/7, and as an avid breakfast lover it makes me incredibly happy. The menu has a huge variety of choices, so finding something to eat is very easy. Its my go-to place to bring larger groups because they usually are able to seat immediately, even during peak times, due to their large facility.
The overall experience was reasonably good. The diner has typical breakfast and lunch fare which is reasonably priced. The service was a little slow but it was okay. The waitress was a little gruff but I found it comical. When we are back in this area again, I would consider going back.

Food was good, but although they had a handicap accessible bathroom, it was basically non functionalIt was so small, that once I got in with my wheelchair, I couldnt close the door. Also, the bars were so low, I couldnt pull myself up. Thank God I had my husband to help me.
We took out breakfast and it was terrible! Wrong order and for the prices!! The food should’ve been good! One platter had water in it from the steam! Just a horrible experience with the takeouts! And coffee was nasty😡this was our first time and last time!

Frequent this place for hearty breakfasts on the weekends. Plates are always hefty and flavorful. Wait staff are pleasant and attentive, at least during the hours we go (between 7am-9am). Just wish the hours were more extensive. Would definitely frequent more if they were open for late night cravings.

I loved it. Me and my family along with friends had a great time last Sunday. We had breakfast and it turned into lunch. Probably because we were with a group of people enjoying each others company. The wait staff were courteous and gave us some good recommendations on the food and they were very friendly to our kids. I dont know what other people experience were, but for me it was great.

Good traditional New Jersey dinner. Went for lunch and the food was very good. They allow you to substitute a fresh fruit cup (didnt appear to be canned) for fries which is a nice healthy option.
The service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious. Yogurt is not on the menu but they have Greek yogurt. :-) they do not have real maple syrup but we happened to have some. Would definitely go there again.
