Everything about my buying experience was absolutely phenomenal. Its always been so difficult to find a pair of running shoes that worked for my particular needs and feet, but I was able to find the best pair of shoes for me at the Princeton Running Company. Beyond just the shoes, Miguel (one of the employees) really took the time to teach me a lot more about training my body to run more efficiently. He did not have to run around the block with me 5 times to test out the shoes, but he really took the extra mile to do that with me. It was a lot of fun! I really appreciate Miguel staying over time an extra 40 minutes to help me out, but I am so glad he did. From an array of amazing running tips, techniques, and running shoe information, my experience at the Princeton Running Company was incredible. Ive already recommended this place to a few of my friends. Thank you all so much!

My first time coming here, and my background is Id only recently taken up running, noticed some problems and decided I needed new running shoes. As a middle-aged been, I didnt feel self-conscious at all. Low key, felt comfortable in the store. Mike was patient and showed me different styles of shoe for road running and we eventually found one I liked.One of the features I liked most of all is I felt I was working with someone who knows what theyre talking about. Someone who runs, has experience, and knew the differences between all the models and styles. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience today finding a new pair of sneakers. The staff was friendly and attentive to my needs and helpful in suggesting shoes that would be a better fit for my feet. I left with a very comfortable pair of shoes that fit great. They also take returns within 30 days and have discounted shoes for sale that have been returned. My husband previously bought a relatively new pair of brooks for a great price.

Really great. I bought running shoes that turned out to not be great for my feet and they refunded and replaced it without any issues.

The guys that were working there were pleasant, if a little aloof, but the store itself has a pretty terrible selection of mens clothing. Worse yet, no fitting room at all... By the way, for all the mom & pop vibes that the store gives off, its owned by JackRabbit (which owns similar stores around the country). Id expect better selection and something as basic as a fitting room from whats essentially a large national chain.

Got a pair and paid for it a week ago, received an email indicating the same. After a weeks goes by still no tracking number despite the store sales guy says the shoes will be there from one of our sister stores in 3 to 5 days. Then I decide to call the store on the 6th day asking why I didnt receive the tracking number for the shoes, Shelby who thought of herself the world Oh they coming from New Balance directly and it would be 12-14 days and then hangs up the phone. The worst customer service I ever received from a staff member who doesnt care for a company name like Jack Rabbit. A word of advice Jack Rabbit be careful of the staff that you hire since it could have a very profound impact on a customer.

Non-existent service, poor selection, had to wait outside for over 20 minutes. They say they control to a certain limit, but they dont seem to adhere to that rule. I recommend shopping online and skipping this store.

You need to go here. We went on a Saturday and the kind salesperson spent more than an hour with us. I ended up changing my shoe to a Saucony Kinvara 12 and its cured my shin pain. Theres no other place Id recommend to check out running stuff, and Ive gone to a lot of stores.

I feel judged WHENEVER I go in here.Most of the employees are athletes. And they seem to be very knowledgeable about their shoes.My sisters a runner and can hold her own in conversation about the sport.They accept returns, which is one more reason she likes to go here for her shoes.They also have a treadmill to analyze your gait.Small mom & pop shop on Nassau Street. Cant go wrong!

My first time in Princeton. Long way from Somerset. Very congested area with both pedestrians and vehicular traffic. Difficult to find. Parking was a nightmare. Got a $40 ticket. However. The staff was courteous and helpful.

Hello! Are you looking for new running shoes? THIS is the place to be. We drove 40 mins to come to this store and it was absolutely worth it. They helped us figure out what we needed, took our time, made sure things fit our feet and lifestyle perfectly. If I ever need ANY running equipment, I am coming to this store! Ryan was extremely pleasant.

Staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Store is equipped with a treadmill and a camera so that you can test the shoes out for a quick run and see how your stride is affected on video. Got great savings on my purchase too!

Best running store in the area, that I’ve been to! Service is great, and the staff is very nice, helpful and know their stuff. There is also a group run every Thursday from the store at 6:30 PM! I would definitely recommend PRC to anyone looking to buy new running gear, especially shoes, which they allow you to return even after you use them.

Good but pricey. They can get you the perfect show that will fit you and you can use for athletic purposes like running or playing any game. They will alter the show according to your foot if you need, at an additional price of course, but it is good to know that you have that option if you are ready to spend some cash. They have a very well maintained, well mannered and knowledgeable staff who will help you get the right apparel you need.

What a great experience. I was impressed enough to leave a review, which I hardly ever take the time for. As a novice runner with a seasoned runner girlfriend, we both decided it was time to treat ourselves to real running shoes to train for the upcoming Marine Corps Marathon. Annie was the most knowledgeable, patient, friendly and thorough sales rep you could ever imagine. She showed us various styles after determining our gait via treadmill video and had us running up & down Nassau Street to feel each shoe. Prices are competitive and theres definitely something in stock for everyone. Thank you for the awesome service!

Excellent running store, employees are great at setting you up in a new pair of running shoes, way more knowledgeable than a bigger sporting goods store. Plus they have plenty of other clothes, nutrition, and recovery stuff as well. Its also great to be able to hop in a treadmill and test it the feel of a pair of running shoes prior to buying them.

Fantastic place. Was recommended by my running trainer. The staff(Megan in this case) was very patient with me. I could see that their objective was to get you the best fit and not to make a sale. She took time to analyze my gait/run both on the treadmill. She even made me run on the sidewalk to check my running form. Made me try multiple pairs based on what i articulated before helping me select one. Will always go back for a new running shoe from now on. I dont mind paying a few more bucks extra for this kind of service and guidance. Way to go guys!!!

The salesperson I dealt with was rude and condescending to me. Conversation went like this:Me: I need trail running shoesHim: Ok, well how many miles are you doing on trails currently?Me: None. Because I dont have trail running shoes...Him: Well, if you dont do that many miles, you can just do trails with regular running shoes.Me: Well, my running shoes are too soft for that.Him: What are you using? (I tell him) Oh, I dont like those shoes and theyre not good for trails.So he criticized my shoe selection and contradicted himself. Then he brought out some shoes HE liked instead of letting me look at them first.I work in sales. This person probably knows shoes, but has no idea how to LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER. I wont be buying from this overpriced store and their self absorbed sales staff again.

My go to for all my running needs. Really friendly and helpful staff of real runners. Ill go out of my way to pay a little extra just to shop locally here.

I got the perfect counsil when I went there to buy running shoes. The counsil was on the point, efficient, friendly and after 10 minutes I went out with the perfect pair of shoes that were even on sale! Have been wairing them for almost two months and am still completely satisfied. Very professional, not your-normal-Princeton-prices shop.

Great service, their sales people are runners and really find good shoes. My son runs cross country and he has real happy with the spikes and shoes he uses.

Very friendly staff who all know their stuff. I could easily go to a Dicks, Finish Line, or anywhere online, but Ill go here to find the RIGHT shoe the first time. Also its the best place to find out where the best races are around here!

Great help and selection

I travel 45 minutes to buy my daughters sneakers and my sneakers from the Princeton Running Company. I have had issues with my last 2 pairs of Mizuno sneakers and both times they exchanged them without question. It is worth the trip and the money to experience the customer service at this store.
