Stores of this size with no one in them give me pause… how can they possibly survive? But sometimes, the less the merrier. The store was pretty empty of customers on a dreary Saturday afternoon but was otherwise pleasant and serene. Many helpful workers and tons of merch to choose from. Many items not found in other B&N stores.

Always a comfort place for me. Cozy, peaceful. This location has helpful employees. Always great selection, deals and sales, and a great place to dive into a book.

I live right near Princeton, so its impossible to not see Barnes & Noble every time I pass by MarketFair. The staff and customer service are both outstanding, the books they have are awesome, and...the Nook tablets: best reading tablet ever. Would recommend to kids who enjoy reading.

Very nice store with a great layout. Very well kept compared to many other Barnes and nobles Ive visited. Staff seems attentive and helpful. This location has a Cafe with a nice layout and adequate seating. Would recommend if youre thinking of stepping in.

Love this location. My wife always comes here to study and prepare for her class lectures. BN is definitely more than just a bookstore but it provides an important space for the community. I hope the corporate office doesnt close this location.

Returning to a bookstore after the pandemic is a joy, and Barnes and Noble has been a favorite of mine since it was a single shop in NYC. This particular branch was especially welcoming and stocked (of course) with everything I was looking for. Bonus props to the helpful and cheery staff!

Love the huge selection of books at this B&N! They have way more than the store on Rt 130 however the Rt 130 store beats them out in regards to selection of gift/knick knack type items. Bonus that you can walk the small quiet mall when youre done shopping at B&N.

If youre looking for childrens books, they have the best selection around. The staff somehow manages to keep the kids sections tidy which is impressive considering how many toddler tornados go through here.

Enjoyed my hour today with my 10 year old grandson..he picked out some items and I loved watching him just looking for what he wanted and was so into putting them together while we had dinner at Fridays! Great day

I like this Barnes and Noble. Not the biggest, but big enough to find what I needed and the staff was really nice. May be slightly more expensive than online warehouses, but I like that I can go in there and see what Im buying to make sure Im making the best purchase for me. Worth the extra dollar to have what I want right away and not deal with the hassle of returns.

In a digital age its great to actually hold a book. B&N is one of the last standing big chain book stores and Im grateful they are. Theres so much more then books... Barnes and Noble offers a huge selection of games, journals, toys, magazines and an excellent selection for someone looking for a novelty gift.Our young son loves going into the childrens book section and picking up a book for us to read to him. It often ends in the purchase of a book or two that we end up reading to him often once we are home. My wife and I feel that bringing him here has helped him to cultivate a love for books.

Very big and clean with huge selections. Seating areas and a Starbucks inside. Bathrooms as well and located in a plaza with a mall and restaurants.

National chain and the go to location for reading materials for many people.Items for the whole family and various interests.Cafe onsite with beverages and light food/snacks.

My sons love of reading grew with weekly trips to the book store for story time and other special events. I cant say enough about the importance of hiring a knowledgable staff (some of whom have been there for over 20 years). The way you keep people from shopping online is to make sure you hire friendly, personable people who love their jobs and take the time to remember their customers. This bookstore does just that. Its like a home away from home. I truly hope book stores dont become a thing of the past. So many have closed down. They are an instrumental part of any community, and when staffed properly, enhance the social environment of our children. Put the phones & tech away and head to the bookstore!

With so many decades of its existence, B&N is now a part of American culture. The place with its coffee shop and scattered seating is a perfect setting for either an intellectual debate or to escape from distractions at home for focused work or study. As well known, whole world of knowledge is there in rows and rows of shelves.Having said all that, I still believe that the entire 10000 sq.ft. space could be easily freed up either for more seating or for some other usage by digitizing all these books into pdfs, clearing the shelves and placing digital tablets throughout the store in kiosks and on tables. I know lots of paper loving people will pounce on me for the last comment! 🙂🤭

This is my remote office. Always great people at the cafe. Very friendly.One of the baristas finally convinced me to purchase a B&N membership card since I come here so frequently. Its worth it! The discounts are slowly making the subscription worth it.They have a great little kids corner and frequently hold events at this Barnes and Noble.Plenty of room in the cafe section to work.Sometimes the wifi is not completely reliable. It will cut out if youve been there for too long.

Love this place! Friendly staff, clean & quiet 🤫. I was looking for a book that was not in the store and with no hesitation they ordered it and will be having it shipped to my home address.

There are a few places to sit by the cafe. Its a nice place to study if you dont mind the background noise.Con: It can be a bit crowded on the weekends, especially of theyre having an event.

I enjoy coming here often. They have a great selection and delicious items at the cafe counter. They also have the comfy chairs that I thought most Barnes & Nobles got rid of.

Its a Barnes and Nobles. Lots of books, helpful staff, and the only remaining large bookstore chain still running strong (r.i.p. borders). While I prefer the feel of a small independent bookstore, theyre everywhere and pretty consistent.

Ive been a customer of Barnes & Noble since they came out along with the other big book store and thats been a long time. I have never been disappointed by selection or availability of what I need. I prefer it to Amazon because the book is there in you hand to see, feel and smell. Book people know what that means. With books and related merchandise all you need is here. Five Stars is not enough. Excellent!

Nicest Burger King Ive ever been in!I first walked in I felt like I was walking into a regular upper class restorant. The lighting was subdued and comfortable. the seating was not your normal hard plastic seating that you see most of the fast food restaurants but most of the chairs were cushions and very comfortable.If Im in the area again doing my Uber trips I would be sure to stop there again!

Found multiple examples of what I was looking for. What impressed me most with how knowledgeable the sales assistant was with the books in her department, childrens. Im convinced she was a school teacher or librarian moonlighting. Is all the sales staff familiar with the books in their department? I didnt know Barnes and Noble was so well stocked. Pricey so I will order a couple online. I wonder if theyll be the beautiful, hard back editions B&N carries. If you want your kids books to be handed down for generations they have the edition youd want.

Very welcoming, and even kinda fun to browse through. We spend so much time online shopping its a really nice change of pace to be surrounded by actual attractive physical merchandise that you can flip through and explore without even buying. Nice seating, attractive environment, OK people. Good selection too.

Good place to hang around with kids and enjoy books. Love kids section. Kids feel free to go around in the store and check out books they want and adults can grab a book, a seat and starbucks coffee, nice combination. We like the place and visit often.

While I love Barnes & Noble, this receives 4 stars because the store layout is very condensed and makes for a somewhat unpleasant shopping experience. Granted the quality and variety of merchandise is on point as it always is which is what merits the 4 stars that I gave it. It does offer coffee but I didnt get any so I cant speak to the quality of the product.

Every B&N store is pure heaven for me. I love the layout, plenty of inventory on hand, great selection of magazines and gifts, and a cafe to boot. Always a treat to shop here!

Good selection

My daughter and I browsed the childrens books and read some together at a table with soft square seating. We wandered around the store and went to the cafe where she was enticed by a smores cookie and I was pleased to find a gluten-free brownie. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon of togetherness and even got a little exercise walking around Market Fair and browsing some of the other shops.

A great place that I hope stays in business. We need more book stores -- and Barnes and Noble in Princeton is always trying hard to keep up to date and offer a wide variety of books, games, food, reading amenities.Also has many well-known authors coming in to discuss and sign books.If price matched Amazon on the spot, I think more people would buy more product while enjoying the experience of a book store in contrast to reading everything in just a digitized format.

Great store for browsing, very relaxing atmosphere, fantastic selection of new and classic books. Have a coffee, sit in a comfortable chair and read a book or magazine without being disturbed. Better than home!

I said, with a straight face Im looking for a childrens book. Its called All My Friends Are Dead. Without even looking up the gentleman at the customer service desk typed for a moment and said yes, here it is, right this way as if I had asked for the most normal book in the world. 10/10 for professionalism. The book is great, too.

I love the selection of books, games and toys at this store. The store is bright and clean, and the staff is very helpful. However, the prices here are not always competitive with other shopping options including online so you have to hunt carefully for bargains or just be prepared to pay a little extra.

Me and my children go weekly to Barnes and Noble if they behave. We live very close by. I have no idea what my children read, but I like the books they have about politics. I think my child likes reading comics. But I think she likes something called Warrior .

Rather wide but also really surface level selection so mostly catering to the most mainstream market.There are some places you can sit and you can get something to eat and drink, but it feels mostly like a “get your stuff and get out” atmosphere.

I personally love this location it’s very big very quiet the self transformation section is amazing I am very into energy and oranges and everything I research about on the Internet I always find the book I need to hear their selection is very wide it’s amazing! there’s a woman with light brown here that works at customer service she will find you anything you need she’s amazing I didn’t catch your name.

I really love going go this BN mainly because of the reading area. I believe if they don’t change they way they sale books amazon may put them out of business. To be honest I would go the store and look for books I want to read than go to amazon and order it because they always have cheaper. It’s a shame they don’t price match their own prices online. Overall the staff are really nice and the place is always clean.

A huge Barnes & Noble! I usually borrow books from the library, but there is something really great about an actual bookstore and books! Had a nice time browsing and bought a book for my teenage son.

Always a great selection of books. If they dont have the book you want on hand, they will get it for you although it might take longer than the three days they tell you it will take as it did when I ordered two books. Inviting atmosphere.

Nice bookstore with great atmosphere! Sometimes in the winter they host a musical and choir performances. However it’s hard to find seats in the cafe, especially when I want to sit down and enjoy my latte and dessert. Drinks are also a hit or miss. For instance, I recently ordered a cafe at lait and received this watered-down version instead.

They have books for everyone on a vast number of topics.

Easy to get to and there is plenty of parking.

There have a been a decreasing amount of areas where you can just sit down and read books for free (besides libraries). However this is way better than a library! Because of its atmosphere, you can still speak naturally and just browse great books. Also the location is fantastic, marketfair has a lot of cool stores and movies so if you need a break to eat or just to look at something cool, it is very easy just to walk out into the mall.

Its hard to find help, however it is quick and fast. When I walk in I see this huge line so I waited however since they have 5 cashiers open that day it actually went by pretty quick.

Above average B&N...enough staff to help when needed and they care if you can find what youre looking for. Very knowledgeable in their area and excellent atmosphere through out. Prices are all that keeps any Barnes and Noble from a 5th star.
