My experience was okay my first visit and have now had 2 good visits since, but if the other reviews are typical of the service, corporate level calls should help. Sometimes store level complaints are not handled comprehensively. It would appear management is not hearing and responding directly to problems in the customer service arena at this store, given that there are more 1 star reviews than any other kind.
First of all, one of the latest reviewers, Bobbie, felt it was appropriate to throw Xavier the pharmacist under the buss. I would like to first comment on that remark, I’ve dealt with Xavier many times seeing that my whole family uses CVS in PV and I never have felt like he was out of line—or even close to being as rude as Bobbie portrays. He’s always been professional with my husband and I. He sometimes seems stressed out but never has he been rude or has given me a judgmental attitude like some other people have shared, nor has anyone else in staff there. Now, the long wait time for getting most—if not all our medications filled at reasonable time is a bigger issue than anything, at least that’s what I think. The way I see that is that is more of an upper management or corporate level issue, and it seriously needs to be dealt with. They need 2 pharmacists on staff on Sundays as well as the rest of the week—which I believe they do currently have, just not on Sundays—and regarding the people who think they only have 1 working line in the drive through, that’s not true—they actually have 2. It just seems to me that most people don’t even like using that line for some apparent reason—which I cannot back up with proof that that is the reason in which why people never use that line.
Absolutely horrible the pharmacist Xavier Robinson Is extremely rude, and very judgmental. He is crossing lines of pure harassment. Does not follow HIPPA guildlines at all. Does need classes on how to deal with public! Completely does not need to be working in this field. And something needs to get about this.
Worst experience ever with executive pharmacist. I would be fired had I treated my customers in the manner I was. Husband fresh out of the hospital after 10 weeks and we are brand new to Prescott Valley. I didn’t deserve that nor would anyone. We all work hard, but be human to people. Choose another Pharmacy
I was in need of a walker and called the store, A nice man named David took the time to check if he had one and get the price! Sure enough he had a walker and I asked him to save it for me and when I came in I bought it! The best part was, I was going to an event in an hour and David put my walker together right there in the store and as he was waiting on customers too! I have never been to a CVS store and now I am a lifer! Just moved to AZ and this man made my day, week and year! I even now have a CVS reward card thanks to him! I am one brand new CVS HAPPY shopper and thank David for his kindness! Signed, Susan Hart happy walker!
I was nervous coming here because of the reviews, but I didnt have a bad experience at all. The entire place was clean, even the parking lot. I sat maybe waiting 3-5 minutes to get my covid vaccine. The nurses(?) were very nice and they did a great job, it was painless. The only issue I had with the store was the fact they allow people in who dont wear masks, which you wouldnt expect at a store that is mainly known for their health, pharmacy, and household products. Its really not safe for people who are coming in to get medicine and such who may already have health issues to be around those without masks on.
Always had good 3xperiences
Horrible. Im so sorry for being new to the area, but first you short me my prescription. Then when I come to refill, you dont have any pills to fill it. I read the reviews last night, I see that your pharmacy has an on going issue, and a manager that doesnt care. Well, the company as a whole must not care, the reviews are terrible. And not one apology or addressing the issues. Lol. Needless to say, Safeway, here I come. They had no problems with me being new. I got my whole prescription, no issues. I always loved CVS, filled there while my kids were growing up, so polite, no problem, ever. Makes me sad. Good luck to you getting some better reviews, maybe the manager should CARE!!!
It was just a regular cvs .no complaints about my visit .very normal .nothing bad
The wait times at their drive thru are absolutely terrible. 1 car ahead of me and it takes 30 minutes?
CVS has lost my business. They make judgement calls when filling your prescriptions. They have stopped selling tobacco products. Makes me feel like Im visiting a judgemental, mean, old spinster Aunt. This place just makes me feel icky and I just couldnt wait to get out of there and into the fresh air!
Today is Jan 16 - I ordered my monthly inhaler, via phone, on Jan 10 for pick-up on Jan 12. On Jan 14, called pharmacy and was told it had to be ordered, but would be ready later that day or on Jan 15. Called again today and was on hold for 30 minutes (no lie). The person who answered checked and said it will be ready today. When I politely said thats what I was told two days ago and would like to know what the hold up was. At this point he identified himself as the pharmacist and said he would get it ready in an hour, rather indignantly. Again, its an inhaler...nothing to be prepared, but put a sticker on a box. A few minutes later I received a call back from said pharmacist and was told it was out of stock and he had no idea when it would come in. This Rx has been on the auto-fill program for a couple of months. When I inquired why suddenly that is not functioning the response was I dont know. Im moving my Rx to another pharmacy. I also mentioned that the website was not allowing me to refill, as it thinks Im a bot (according to the error message), which is why I resorted to the phone ordering system in the first place. Crickets as to why this happening. If the customer service wouldve been better Id be willing to wait until it came in, but this is BS.
Horrible customer services. They lie, rudeness, incompetence, Threats. They talk to you like youre a child, threaten to call police when you request management. They break appointments, make you wait 45 in line just to get copy of recordsdrugyourmedication record which they botch three times then have ad
The supervisor in the Pharmacy, her name is Sedona, refused to sell me Sudafed. She told me to go somewhere else or come back another day. Total attitude. Nothing like waiting in line for 20mins to be told no. Sedona, pretty name but what a wretched young lady. David Horn, can this girl and put someone else in charge!
I’ve always experienced excellent service at this location. Store seems understaffed and they have so little room to work in but they always do the best they can.
10-26-2020 Around 11 AM I went into the CVS in Preskett Valley. As I was walking and I noticed there was a line about 10 people back. I asked the man that was standing by to self checkout counters, if there was a cashier. He informed me there was not, there’s just the two self checkout counters. I saw a man in a CVS uniform and ask him if he knew where the eyepatch is well. The guy at the self check out counter in for me that he worked in pharmacy, and he not there to help me. That the eyepatch is were in the back of the store by pharmacy. I walked towards the eyepatch picked it up and went to the front to check out. There was still a line of about 10, Most over the age of 70. As the line grew longer and I got closer to the front, I heard the lady in front of me said there is not a check here to help us. I told her that there is a website at the bottom of her receipt, or a one 800 number she could call and complain. I got up to the self-serve and he asked me if I knew how to use it, I said yes. I ring it my small package and hit skip bag he turned around and said you have to put it in the bag. I said not if you hit skip bag. He said it’s beeping. I said it once my credit card. He ago to finish my transaction and the computer was printing out my receipt, at which point I took it off the machine being very mad at the so-called store director and rip the receipt out of the self check out. He told me that if I broke his self check out, that he would charge me for it. Then I called CVS corporate office. I will never shop at that CVS again!😡😡😡😡
As a caveat, Im not one to complain online about poor service. But today at Prescott Valley CVS, I was snapped at and berated by the training manager. His name is David Horn. I waited in line for some time, but with the current Covid19 situation and the amount of elderly people in this area, that is to be expected. However, when I was called up to the counter, David Horn was short and terse. No biggie there also. People have different personality types and bad days. However, when he told me I had copays I merely said, I shouldnt have copays. David Horn blew up at me, raising his voice and belittling me, stating, Well, YOU DO!!! He was angry and seemed like he was about ready to go off on me. He said, You dont have insurance! I showed him my insurance card and he huffed and rolled his eyes and shouted, Get in the other line (meaning the drop off line to deal with system issues). I said, Im sorry but this has happened four times in the recent past here. To which he barked back at me, Get in the line! like I was some criminal. This man should not be working in customer service. It was one of the rudest encounters Ive had in a long time, and Im not one to complain online. It was so bad I had to post something.
How can I have confidence in a company, when the cleanliness of the property and store looks the way it does?
Moved here 4 years ago. The CVS in Prescott Valley WAS a great pharmacy! Prescriptions were filled in a very timely manner. Something changed in the last couple years. I’d say with no exaggeration that about 80% of the last dozen times I’ve used CVS, the scripts have not been ready even if they had been called on 24-48 hours before. The automated refill phone system DOES NOT WORK. You can request a prescription to be ready by 9am the next morning for example and you’ll get the computer voice confirm your pills will be ready but show up the next morning and you still have to wait for your pills. Yesterday I felt so bad for the pharmacy tech who was manning the pick up line. There were 5 people in front of me and 3 of the five were told their prescriptions weren’t ready yet. The customers were not happy and when I arrived at the counter I was also told that mine weren’t ready either. One had been called on 3 days before. I would switch drugstores in a heartbeat if our insurance would allow it. Something is wrong there. Very wrong and they can’t seem to get their act together. So sad
This pharmacy is the WORST!! Every time I go to pick up my prescription it takes me over a hour every single time because they are extremely slow with their drive through..highly do not recommend
CVS pharmacy is a joke. They say your script is ready when it never is. They are always DAYS, if not weeks, behind. They put you on hold for over an hour and then hang up when you call. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. They don’t care if you have to have your medication or you could have serious problems without it. They are full of excuses. Never again will my family or I use this pharmacy. Every single person I know has problems getting their medications here. 😫😡
I came in to the prescott valley store and Samantha was extremly helpful. Great customer service!!!
This is the worst pharmacy for getting your prescriptions in a reasonable amount of time. It can take 2 to 3 hours to have your prescriptions filled, then you have to wait in line to get your prescription for 10 to 20 minutes due to the amount of patrons. Even the people that work out front have asked management to employ more pharmacist, but customer service doesnt seem to be a priority.
Store is fine. Pharmacy is terrible. Medication is never ready on time even when they tell you it is. Wait is always very long. Recommend another pharmacy!
This is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever been to! Never answer phone, and if they do you are on hold for 45 min. Always have to come back several times because meds are never ready on time, and the worst part is nobody cares!
The absolute worst pharmacy to call! 40 minutes on hold today and finally hung up and sent my husband there to try to refill my prescription ( refill from another location so could not auto refill on phone ) just to find out they are out of it. Last week they said they were out of it too..... And to call back today.... Which was a fail. New to the area and need to find a better pharmacy!
Though the staff is always polite and seems professional, they almost always are out of stock of at least one of my medications (which are hardly rare or exotic). Then, when I get an estimate of 1-2 days until delivery, they may not fill my order for an entire week! #Unreliable #unprofessional #limitedstock
Refills never ready on time, staff (one woman in particular) is always rude to me. I love the deals, but I hate dealing with her which seems like every time I go in. She rushes me when checking out, has a poor attitude, and isnt helpful when using coupons. CVS please do something, it makes me feel horrible when I have to deal with her.
Love the drive thru! Courteous, an i order my refills on their app. Get calls that theyre ready!
Youll wait forever for prescriptions - the people are friendly enough but you will waste so much time - my medical coverage only allows me to use CVS - but - with GoidRX I can save money at Safeway without having to deal with CVS. Try it yourself, youll be glad you did.
As expected
This particular CVS pharmacy is the worst place prescott valley. I’m not even talking about just pharmacies, places as a whole. But primarily their staff and their pharmacy is absolute garbage. My friend tries to get his medicine all the time from here because it’s the only pharmacy that takes his insurance, and they never have it ready and are incredibly rude and will not help him get what he needs. The meds that he gets are for a mental disease he has, and I don’t see how it is right or fair that this CVS doesn’t seem to give a care in the world about their customers. This place could get torn down and I guarantee that no one would miss it. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
Weekend pharmacy hours are garbage. I couldnt get my dogs seizure medication...... Your pharmacy should really be open later on Saturdays atleast 8pm.
Horrible place to get prescription filled! Daughter had surgery and needed her pain meds, lines were extremely long and only one lady at pick up. She was really sweet and not her fault but the wait is horrible when you have someone in pain needing meds. Hire people!
Worst pharmacy ever. They dont fill stuff when the doctor sends it in. Had three sent in yesterday at 11 am and called this morning and they had no idea they were supposed to fill two of em. Considering medication was prescribed as treatment for an injury..... They stink! Was told twenty minutes just about an hour ago. And they still arent ready.
The past year the service has gone down hill - the pharmacy is overworked and seriously understaffed. CVS Management needs to get their act together. Prescriptions are not filled in a timely manner. Currently Im on hold for over 10 minutes to check status of prescriptions that are in progress for two days! Ridiculous.
My meds are always “in progress”, sometimes for WEEKS. I either have to show up or call and we all know how long the wait times are at CVS Prescott Valley. POOR service to the patient. This has been going on ever since I moved here. So, it doesn’t look like they care at all.
I texted in for a refill was texted back it would be ready by noon the next day 2 days later still waiting and completely out of my medication, try calling was on hold for 33 minutes, called back 2 hours later still put on hold for 15 minutes. Seems as if I always have problems with the pharmacy, its awful. The Corporation needs to step in and do something about it!But the store itself is clean and the customer service up front is a little slow at times but very pleasant.
Outstanding! The manager David went out of his way to help my son. We were in the ER Christmas Eve, then sent home with a antibiotic prescription. Being it was way late no where was open for the night. Christmas day no pharmacy was open. He called down to phx along our route and found a cvs pharmacy that was open to take our perception too. Thank you so very much!!
Really this place deserves zero stars! The poorest service I’ve ever had, when I dropped off my Rx the women told me it would be ready next day after 3. Had to be ordered. Went to store at 5 next day stood in line for 45 min and it still wasn’t ready. Was told hour and a half for it to be filled, not even an apology. 6 people filling 1 person at register 1 person at drive up. This is not an isolated incident. Happened before to both my husband and I. Will never use this store again. Sending email to management and corporate today.
I needed some passport photos and the only person available was the lady at the cash register with a growing line in front of her. 4 calls to the back for additional help, and no one came in the 15 minutes I sat and waited there.
I shouldve heeded the warnings of the other reviews. I received a text from CVS a week before my prescription needed to be taken saying it had been ordered and supposed to come in 4 days later, only to learn that they canceled that order without notifying me because they thought it was the wrong drug (it wasnt). When I called to clarify what was going on as I need to start taking it now, Flo ( I think was the name) was very rude and impatient with me and told me that Id have to wait til it comes in instead of helping to figure out a solution. I called the CVS in Prescott and though they didnt have the specific brand either, they worked with me to get my prescription today and were very kind. Driving the extra 15 minutes is worth it. Avoid this CVS.
This pharmacy is a nightmare. They definitely are not in tune with prompt customer service and some of the people working there are downright rude. Right now they are requiring a 3 day wait on any prescription. I recommend you go elsewhere.
My wife is pregnant and needed a life saving drug for her and our baby. This CVS on Windsong said they had it in stock, 50 units of them actually (though we needed 60), so we took the prescription there to get filled. We came back hours later to pick it up...only to find out they only had 4 units available (only a two day supply). They said they would have the rest available for us the next day. They have yet to fill the script completely...My wife just took her last dose...CVS has passed the buck a number of times. They tell us to come back tomorrow at 12, we show up at 12, then they say come back at 3pm.If you know how prescriptions work, you know that once you fill partially you burn the script, meaning you cant get it filled elsewhere... We are in the last hour...a does is needed in a few hours, we are working with our doctor to get another prescription and we will get it filled somewhere other than CVS. Thanks CVS....Avoid this CVS Pharmacy.
Horrible Customer Service- phone calls are seldom answered and when they do answer immediately tell you there is a wait to talk with someone and hang the phone up on you. No chance to even talk. The other day they totally screwed up my Rx order with a wrong number. Snotty attitudes by staff. Will go to Frys in the future.
The people are very nice, but: Beware: If their computer goes out during your purchase, your coupons are considered used and cannot be used!
SOMETIMES YOU HAVE A LONG WAIT...BUT I THINK THE SERVICE THERE IS GREAT...MAYBE CVS ITSELF ( the company) NEEDS TO KNOW HOW HIGH VOLUME THIS STORE IS AND AT PEEK HOURS AND ADD MORE STAFF....
This pharmacy use to have great customer Service but now it is truly a nightmare as the the other lady said. Wait time have increase from 20 /40 minutes to any hours. They need more help!!!!
Called CVS with a very important question and David took my call, he not only checked to see if the product I was inquiring about was in stock he also set it aside for me
10/11.waited 20 minutea -not ready . 10/12 waited 23 minutes -not ready .wanted flu shot - no stock .wasted 40 minutes ( I am 90 and time is precious to me ) 50 mile drive, $6.00 in gas and still dont have meds or flu shot ..personel great .
I found the staff to be particularly helpful, professional and caring when I had an issue with a very expensive drug that was ordered from my physician. I was really thankful they seemed to care.
Very friendly & helpful staff! They’re dealing with a lot from sick customers to insurance companies & they manage to keep a smile....!!!!
Dont waste your time here. No service whatsoever.
This drug store almost never answers the phone, makes you wait at least one day and I am asking my insurance company to drop them
I already like this Pharmacy staff over Safeway. Safeway staff are just awful!!.So glad I switched!
An okay CVS, as indicated in other reviews, the pharmacy seems to be behind the eight ball mor times than not. It is near other shops, so if the prescription you were told was filled, but really was not, you can get another errand done while they figure things out.
Pharmacy Hours = M-F 0800-2200; Sat 0900-1800; Sun 1000-1800. Pharmacy does accept AHCCCS insurance.
I honestly dont think they care at all about customer service or if they have terrible reviews
If I could give less than a 1 star I would, worst pharmacy in the area. Even when we called another pharmacy to have prescription transfered they had the same thoughts. Will never use again!!!!!
Desperately in need of pharmacy tecs! Insanely long wait to get rx EVERY TIME for the last 3 months!!!
People in store are friendliest and most helpful. Customer service is highest priority.
Horrible service ... staff is rude and incompetent... will never use cvs again ....
Horrible service and poor attitude from staff.
They dont answer their phone! How are people suppose to talk to the pharmacy if they resume to do their job. Unbelievable how people dont care
Said prescriptions would be ready in 30 minutes took more like 50 min, even though they said it was expeditedKinda bad when the people need their prescription sooner then later..
Very clean and the building is on the main road and easy to see.
Drop off your prescription one day and stop by the next day and its not ready. Come back in 15 minutes BS going somewhere else next time.
The wait inside is way too long!!!!! Not fair to customers getting their prescription filled or waiting to pick them up.
Been waiting for a hour
Awesome service
Unprofessional
