I brought him my one of a kind 36 slant back Plymouth Hot Rod to finish the body work and paint. At first they were doing an awesome job as I checked on the progress often. After 2 months I got a call, can you pay the balance owed, I need it to cover payroll, sure no problem I replied. then within a week I get the call, its done. I go down to the shop and look the car over, there are several defects in the paint along with overspray on trim, the roof, the frame, and the glass. Tracy and I discussed these defects, his exact words were, Bring it back in a few months after I get into my new shop and I will fix these issues. After replacing the items that were oversprayed that I knew he could not fix and scraping paint off the windows, I called him to ask when I could bring it in, I was promptly hung up on. All calls after that went directly to voicemail. After two weeks of unanswered calls i went to see him he explained he dropped his phone and it had died. I setup a day to return the vehicle, on that day he took the car in and is repairing it now.
