Usually hate going to car dealerships, but from the get go I had good vibes when I came down to Honda in Poway….they had the car I wanted, 6 speed manual civic and I first heard from Nikki right away letting me know that the car was on the way so gave me the option to come look at it the day it arrived at the dealership, from arrival I was helped immediately and got to test drive the vehicle and another one…Joyce was really helpful in the process, usually I’m used to car sales people really pressing to make the sale but i got none of that here, really easy and up front pricing no mark ups like the other Honda dealer I had gone to the night before…from negotiation super quick and easy, James the sales manager assessed my situation and got me more for my trade in after I told him CarMax was willing to give me more for it, he got me a great price that I could not refuse for my trade in, Ryan the finance manager was awesome as well, no BS went through all my options and literally showed me different number scenarios for my payment will definitely return here for my next vehicle!

The entire team at Poway Honda was amazing this weekend when we purchased our new Honda. More often than not purchasing a new car can be stressful and quite overwhelming to say the least. I loved not having a car payment. When the catalytic converter was stolen out of my wifes car, that love was replaced with a desperate need. A quick after hours email to the dealership after finding the car on Cargurus.com pointed us at Poway Honda and then Niki brought us home. Patient, kind and responsive. Its not a great time to buy any kind of car, prices are nuts, but the Insight we selected was under market and pristine when we got the keys.

Went in because my tire pressure light kept coming up even though I filled it and check the psi daily.Waited 4 hours at the dealership for them to tell me that my psi was too high for the weather. So all they did was lower it.... 4 hours. Found a scratch on my side skirt from the car lift, they did not mention when I got my car back. Brought it up to the service clerk and he said all he can give me was a free tire rotation.Wanted to check my dash cam to see what took them so long and looks like they unplugged it when the mechanic got in. Also found out they plugged my tire.Thanks Poway Honda !They did end up replacing my whole side skirt but still such a hassle for a Tire pressure light

I have given this place a couple of tries to do the basic service for my Honda CRV. Both times I had a scheduled reservation to do the service, and both times it has taken an unbelievable amount of time. Today, over two and a half hours for an oil change (for which I had an appointment!). Everyone is perfectly friendly but they clearly have zero concerns or respect for customer’s time. I will be trying another dealership next time.

This was my first service visit at Poway Honda. Prior to my appointment, I had some additional questions but had called after the service hours. However, the lady I spoke with was kind and tried to answer my questions as best she could. And what she couldnt, she recommended I call back in the morning for more assistance with my questions . Although I have forgotten her name, I havent forgotten her great customer service. First impression=Good. When I arrived for my service appointment, there was a very kind, professional Service Advisor who did the intake. Mr. Ryan Constantino patiently answered all my questions, as well as kept me updated on the status of my car. And although he cant control it, he was apologetic for the delay (I was there for almost 2.5 hours for an oil change...). It was a busy day and personally didnt mind it too much because I had an opportunity to look at their Booster Blue 2021 Civic Type R with the knowledgeable Mr. Benjamin F. But as beautiful as that car is, I was ready to leave and shortly thereafter, Ryan told me my car was ready.There are more options here for car services than where I previously lived. However, Im the type of person that when I find what I like, I stick with it... and if I dont, Im not afraid to keep looking! The overall experience at Poway Honda impressed me, so I will be returning for my next service!Whatever your car needs, ask for Ryan. Hell take care of it, address any concerns you have, and make sure youre informed the whole time. And thanks to everyone who assisted me during this whole experience!

I spent several weeks hunting for the best price on a Honda CR-V EX. Finally decided to call Poway Honda and luckily got Niki Chriss. She was amazing, as was Poway Honda in general. My wife and I had recently had our daughter and with the low inventory across San Diego had struck out getting in to even test drive one. She set up a test drive, worked with us on timing, and then when the one we wanted sold she worked to get us another one set up for us and reserved.It was a great experience and the best car buying experience Ive actually ever had. We will definitely shop with Poway Honda again.

Wow. What an amazing experience. Salesman Rhodele was so courteous, professional and efficient. He showed us the vehicle we wanted and with his expert help he got us in and out in record time with our beautiful vehicle. He took the time to show us how the vehicle works with great pointers. He disregarded that it was 10pm, well past his work hours, as he wanted to make sure we were acquainted with all the features. And the finance manager and floor manager were great to work with as well. Definitely would recommend Poway Honda for your new vehicle!

Dont go to their service center, it is not worth wasting your time. They dont even spend time to diagnose properly. I recently went to this dealer for fixing some AC problem, first time I went there they said couple of valves were leaking which they fixed and said they added dye and charged steeply for this, I went second time they said it is all working fine. Third time I went they said I need to change condenser and gave me very overpriced bid. It was just wasting my time. I was really getting skeptical about their work, so I went to a different mechanic he said the condenser is okay and does not need to be replaced. Overall they dont seem to have good workmanship and I would not go to them again.

Went there maybe a year ago for an oil change I believe. All went well. Since then I have received many offers to continue keeping my car in top shape. Maybe 12 times they reached out. A couple days ago I had car trouble. I called and service was too busy to answer. Not so bad. I called the manager and only got voice mail. After a couple more tries to contact a service advisor I left my information with the receptionist and waited for a return call which the operator said would be a couple hours. Its now been 3 days. Seems they would try a bit harder returning calls. They also do not offer me a way to get home after dropping off my car. Two other dealers I have dealt with do.Although I live in Poway I now take my car to Escondido.

Best salesman and professional service you find from any car dealership in San Diego.the gentleman name Doc, made my sales easy and quick. I got financial advisor help me get lower interest rate on financing on used car, then I was quoted. Washed and gas up the car for me. Even offer to deliver to my home. This is far out way, but definitely worth the drive. Best prices for any vehicle.

Fairly quick oil+filter change with an appointment and waiting room was a good area for me to work do work on my laptop while I waited. Only con was that my car was still left with some water drops and spots after the courtesy wash.

Great experience with buying a car, but the service department leaves a lot to be desired. Had the car in for service three times and have had issues with service reps twice. 0.333 is a great batting average for baseball, but it is pretty awful for customer service.

I drive past the service center near my home to drive an extra 20 minutes ato Poway Honda. They provide such knowledgeable and helpful service, always for a reasonable price. Clean, friendly, honest service center - ask for Service Technician Alvaro, he’s the absolute BEST and will always remember you and your car! 👍👍

You wont find customer service here. Very disappointing. Had appointment to get side mirror fixed. Was told they couldnt order part since it was on back order and I should call around to see if someone else has it.After an initial response to my review above, I was contacted by the service manager who stated he would look into the issue. I have reached out twice since to follow up. I have left a message when the service manager did not answer, but have yet to receive a response.

It was a great visit. Everyone did their absolute best to help out. The most important thing for us besides the quality is how the salesperson is. We dont like the pushy sales people. In our case, It was great to have some space and think about our options. Raj and Gary both were very nice and helpful. We didnt feel pushed for the purchase. Went there for general service and maintenance on Sept 3rd. When i took the car back i saw notification in the car screen that key battery need to be replaced. I was surprised to see it since i just changed the battery a month back and thought some issue with battery quality. Later when i try to change the battery i saw the battery make was not the same that i had replaced. That is so cheap act and now im worried if they did same thing with any of the vehicle parts. Never going there again.

It was well after 5:00 PM quitting time at Poway Honda. I thought I would just leave the car at the Early Bird drop off, write on the envelope what had to be done, and be off to my waiting ride home. To my surprise, a service tech came out to help me. The young man, Marco, was helpful and courteous, and had me on my way in no time. He warned me that the tread on my tires was dangerously low. The maintenance work was done before 9:00 AM, as promised. I wanted the work on my car taken care of properly as I had a long road trip to make on coming weekend. As I was driving on my road trip Saturday, I recall thinking about the good feeling I had. All is good with the car. That young man, Marco, is on the ball. When I take the car in again for maintenance, Ill ask for Marco.

Sat appointment with oil change and tire rotation for 180$ and 2hrs & 15mins estimated waiting time. I had the same service when I was in Chicago with my dealer for $90~ or less within 60mins. To be honest, an oil change probably takes 15mins, the rotation and inspection should not longer than 20mins.

Yesterday, I had an appointment to test drive a used car which I decided to buy. We completed the credit application for partial financing and so forth and I was there for an hour and a half. Unfortunately the car I wanted to trade in was not nearby so I made an appointment for today at 11am to bring the trade in and complete the paperwork. In order to hold the car for me, I was required to leave a $1,000 down payment, which I did. I arrived about 11:10am and expressed an interest in expediting the process. The sales person took pictures of the trade in and so forth, and he told me the trade in value would take 15-20 minutes. I asked if we could start the financing side and he said no, because we needed the final cost minus the trade in. Eventually, he gave me the trade in value and I agreed to it. He said we would need to wait for a finance person. I was in a hurry so I asked if I could just pay for the car (and not finance it) so that I could leave. He told me no. After waiting an hour, he told me it would be at least another hour. He asked if I preferred to come back later. At this point my investment of time at the dealership over the course of the two days plus the 30 minute drive each way for each visit and other professional and familial obligations made me decide to wait. So I waited and waited and waited for a finance person. At 2:20 after 2 1/2 hours of waiting, the finance person was ready for me. The sales agreement I was asked to sign was $1,000 too much, which he corrected. When I asked what interest rate he was offering, he replied your sales person said you were paying cash. I replied, I offered to pay cash to be done with the process and leave but since I had to wait I wanted to contemplate financing options. He looked quite surprised at my request, which made me envision a clock slowly ticking as more time dragged on. I replied never mind, even though that is what I really wanted, because the pure thought of the agony of waiting even longer was way too much for me. I left the dealership at 2:52, with my neatly folded paperwork, and new to me used car.The sales and finance people each apologized for the long wait and had all sorts of reasons for it, but that really does not matter to me. Had I not already given them $1,000 down payment, I NEVER would have waited that long.

Bought a used car from Honda Poway and have to say was disappointed. The used car I bought belt would squeak when vehicle was turned on but was told by sales person that it shouldnt be a problem that it was just detail dressing that must of got into the belt. So I said ok and ended buying the car but after a few days the belt kept squeaking so I called the dealership and got the run around kept getting transferred to different departments with no help. So I ended making a appointment with Hyundai Poway since it was a used Hyundai I had purchased I took it there I was charged 80 for the belt to be adjusted. After looking through the paperwork at the work that was done from honda for the recondition to sale the used car it had showed they replaced the belts. Also when signing financing paperwork via ipad i was offered tire insurance which I declined the finance manager said dont worry about it she would give it to me free. After signing everything via iPad and getting my paperwork printed the next day I noticed the tire insurance was not free I had to call the insurer to get it cancelled which took close to 2 months.

Marites Cerezo and the rest of the Poway Honda staff made my car buying experience a very smooth one. They had quoted me via email the most competitive pricing for a brand new Honda Civic I was interested in out of the whole North county SD. I was only interested in the base model, and they were not very pushy in terms of adding extra features that I was not interested in. When I told them I was not interested in the extra features, they immediately removed those line items in the bill and generated a new on. In addition, they were very transparent in terms of breaking down and explaining the numbers in the bill of sale. They clearly and concisely provided me what every line item fee was for when I had any questions. Thank you Poway Honda!

I dont usually write reviews but this place is absolutely incredible. I live in Los Angeles and every dealership that I spoke to was overly pushy and used pressure-tactic sales. It was well worth the 2-hour drive to come to Poway where Niki Chriss from Internet Sales took care of me. Not only did she special order my car, but kept me updated online about the status from production to delivery, even helping to order specialty accessories and coordinate installation. She is by far the best sales person Ive worked with in any capacity from any company I have purchased from before. She made a point to help pick out the appropriate color lug nuts when I had asked for a mismatched color, making sure to send pictures from wheels of cars on the lot. She went out of her way to pick up the car and bring it to the dealership. Niki honored the Costco discount and made sure that I was completely taken care of. Special ordering a car is not common and is tough for dealerships to place considering if you back out they are stuck with a custom vehicle so the amount of effort Niki gave and trust the Poway team placed in me was absolutely incredible. Also shout out to Devin and Alfred for closing our paperwork and showing us the car. Straight forward service, honest people. There is no better sales team (especially Niki) or dealership, near or far that can provide the level of service that Poway can. I would recommend this place again and again to my friends and family. Even though I had scheduled an appointment, to took over an hour before someone came to me.I requested a ride home after I found out that it would take over 3 hours for the repair but I was told that there is no shuttle ride. So, I had to ask my wife to pick me up and drop me off later.I was told my car is ready just a few minutes before Poway Honda closest the day. When I saw my Honda Odyssey van, it was not washed. I had to ask to get it washed. He seemed surprised that I asked to have it washed.This latest experiencer with Poway Honda did not make me feel good. It seems the customer service from this dealership has deteriorated since the few times I took my van there.I hope that the management will look into this and make necessary steps to bring up the level of customer service that it once had.r/Nap Ferraris

They engage in unethical business practices and I would not recommend anyone to set foot in there.If I could rate it as zero, I would because of all the unnecessary stress they have created for me. Not fair.Used car was purchased from this dealer 6+ months ago and they STILL have not furnished the title. Their support since closing the deal/purchase has been non responsive and lacking any sense of urgency for the liability this is putting us in. Ie. Cannot register the car, insurance will not cover if in accident, and subject to ticket.Not trust worthy.Disappointed overall and not what I expected from a franchised location. I might have had better luck on Craigslist.

What a relief and breathe of fresh air to have such a great experience at a dealership. You get a bit jaded from some dealerships and end up expecting dishonesty, hard sells and negotiations - but I cant say enough good things about this place.Doc was amazing and treated us like family. He was so fair and open throughout the whole process. Everyone on site was great, great experience with Ryan in financing too. They all seemed to live the idea that they wanted to do right by you, not just close a deal.Doc spent a lot of time getting us familiar with the vehicle too before we drove off- super helpful and thorough. If i could give this place 0 stars, i would. not only did they charge me for a simple “inspection”, a cost for a starter was $1,000. I bought one for $250 including labor at a mechanic shop. brand new. every mechanic shop i went to gave me such a lower estimate for a brand new starter. unbelievable. not only that, every time i was transferred to my advisor, NO ONE would answer. straight to voicemail or hang up. the front desk lady told me she couldn’t help me because she “didn’t want to leave” her desk and go outside. what the hell. when the tow truck came to pick up my car, they didn’t leave the key and CLOSED. the next day, the tow truck came THREE SEPARATE times, the first two times the dealership made them wait 30+ minutes—early morning right when they opened and there were no other cars. when i kept calling, same thing. front desk lady said she hasn’t been outside and won’t go to check and that i needed to talk to my advisor. no one picked up. not even the other advisor i was transferred to. i am never ever coming here again.

I just want to give a HUGE shout out to Marco Ramirez in the Poway Honda Service Dept. for taking care of me at my last service! I brought my car in for service during my lunch hour, and had been waiting in my car awhile for someone to check me in...I finally went in to ask for assistance. Although he was busy doing something else, he was the only one that stepped up to take care of me. Marco was able to check me in and get me on my way. He was in constant contact with me while my car was in service to give me updates, and was able to address all of the items for my vehicle. Marco really went above and beyond and if I could give him more that 5 STARS I would! His customer service is excellent and he knows how to take care of his customers.

Walked in on Tuesday to trade in my truck and purchase an Accord. Sat inside for 2 hours while my truck was being appraised. They told me I could go home and they would call once they had a deal. I got called the next day by Gary who asked if I was taken care of. I told him I was still waiting for a call to see if we were approved. Apparently my paperwork wasn’t submitted and they had to re-do it.I went to Pacific Honda, picked a car, got my truck appraised, and signed paperwork all in the time I waited for Poway to call me back.I received a text today saying they couldn’t do anything for me in regards to buying a car. You guys just didn’t try hard enough because Pacific Honda had no issues.Save yourself a trip and visit a better dealership!

Poway Honda has always provided me with great service, both in customer service and servicing my car. My last service was no exception. The only service I needed at that time was a smog certification but they also provided a free safety and service check. This added effort is important to me because Im elderly and can no longer perform the self checks that I was able to at one time. It helps me to feel safer on the road and confident that my car is well maintained. In addition, I had just bought my first smart phone--I know :)--and was not yet comfortable with using it, but the service representative was very kind and patient as he walked me through the process of receiving and approving my service contract using the text function. I have bought 3 Hondas from Poway Honda, had them all serviced there and have always been pleased with both the buying and servicing processes.

Gary at Poway Honda was terrific! Best experience buying a car that we have EVER had! They were very upfront and straightforward and did not waste a bunch of time negotiating with us. Wow! Seriously amazing and so stress free. I called to inquire on a 2021 Honda Odyssey. I was told it was in stock and given a price for the vehicle. When I arrived the price discussed was the price given. There was no haggling. I know I got the best deal on my new minivan. The salesman Yul Blake was very kind and patient when we needed help setting up the features on the car. Ryan in finance streamlined the process and was able to close the deal very quickly. We will be back for all our Honda purchases, and we will be telling our friends and family what a wonderful experience we had. Thank you Poway Honda.

I called Poway Honda for a service department appointment and was given a time quickly. When I arrive I was greeted by Marco Ramirez. I let him know the reason I was there. As he was checking me in he noticed I needed front tires. Marco was personable, efficient and it was noticeable that he likes his job. Mr. Doc Marmor was simply amazing! From start to finish, we felt like we were treated as VIP customers. I sent an email inquiry, he called me back the same night. The next morning I drove from Chula Vista to Poway, and Doc received me immediately. He showed us the vehicles we were interested in, explained all the car functions, allowed us to test drive, and then provided us with a friendly, smooth and informative sales process. Doc made us feel comfortable and empowered to make the best decisions for my family. It felt like being with a family friend, not a salesperson. We leased a Honda Odyssey Ex-L, feeling very good about the deal, and Doc gave us a washed and detailed car along with step by step instructions based on our personalized settings. It was a PERFECT visit and we will be customers for life! We will recommend Doc and Poway Honda to all our family and friends.

The service department check-in was easy and efficient. The car was ready in less time than they predicted. The only issue was I had a coupon (10% off) that the service advisor said he would take off the bill. When I reviewed my bill after I got home, I was charged the full amount. I will be going back for service but wont trust that the advisors actually do what they say they will do.

I went in for a recall on fuel pump on my wifes Insight 2019. I dropped the car early in the morning and a few hours later I was told one of the parts broke - on a brand new car. So the car would not be ready until the day after. They provided a rental, however my wife mentioned she could pick up the car at the rental as she had to way to get there. Then she was told the car would be dropped, she just had to call the rental company. When my wife called the rental, they stated that they could not dropped the car. That was impossible.We got the car back the day after, but there was a strong smell of gas.I called and was told to come over. However, I was told that removing the fuel pump may have left some smell residual, and after 2-3 days the smell would be gone. Called and was told the car would be detailed at the time of my convenience. When I called to bring the car over, I was told the detailing department had been furlough a few months ago. Almost three weeks after the smell still lingered, I had to call and request to talk to a supervisor.Finally, I got to talk the service manager who efficiently ensured whatever needed to be done got done.
