Came in for a sandwich today after reading a bunch of good reviews. Happy to report that this place exceeded my expectations. I had a Reuben and it was very good. You can tell they invest in high quality ingredients and take their reputation seriously. Paul greeted me as soon as I walked in, very personable guy and knows his business inside and out. Gave me a tour of the beer room while my sandwich was being prepared, which had an impressive variety.It’s nice and increasingly rare to find local businesses owned by people who care about their customers and take the time to get to know them. This is one of those places, and I’ll absolutely be back! Highly recommend stopping by this place, you’ll see what I mean.

I went here with a client who has very specific tastes when it comes to beverages. This was meant to be a very quick in-and-out trip since he knew this was the best place to get what he needed, but when I saw how fun the building looked, I was excited to accompany him and see what was inside. Right away, you can tell the vibe is so much more different than any run-of-the-mill liquor store. Inside looks very neat, clean, and overall aesthetically-pleasing. As a bonus, the owner was very welcoming, engaging, and seemed to have excellent product knowledge; clearly customer-service oriented! We’re excited to come back for their deli’s grand opening!

The Store itself has been completely renovated and amazing including a walk in beer cooler. A prefect balance and selection of beer, wine and spirits.The deli just opened, I have had 4 sandwiches so far and each one was delicious. The quality of the ingredients is top notch, the sauces are home made, and the diversity in the menu is unmatched. Hands down the best deli in Poway.

Paul, mike, brea and the entire staff are amazing. Our crew spent 3 days pressure washing the buildings next door and the Local Bite kept us fed the entire time. Not your regular run of the mill Liquor stop. Cobb salad was so fresh. Sandwiches where all great, cali club, meatball, roast beef, the Reuben, and the turkey with cranberry chutney. Discovered that they have a full kitchen in the back and they make most of their ingredients in house. Dont forget to check out the walk in cooler, great selection of beers you may not find anywhere nearby. ✌thumbs up to the Local Bite!

One of the nicest and modern store in the San Diego area. Great selection of Whiskey &Tequila. Their New Deli The Local Bite is Amazing. We had the Cali and the Cubano....just Awesome!

Paul and Mike are great, running a nice and friendly store. Inventory gets changed every few weeks so there is always something new to try or am able to stick to what you like. My dad and I love going here!

This place is local gem everyone. Amazing selection, beautiful remodel inside and out, and super friendly staff! The new owners took over a few months ago and legit turned this place around. I used to come here in the past but its nothing like it is now. Paul and Mike renovated the building and take pride in their customer service and maintaining quality products in this store. They mentioned that theyre even opening up a fresh deli soon and I cannot wait. Im telling you guys...give this place a shot, you will not be disappointed!

Great selection and prices. Always friendly every time I visit. Great to pop in to grab regular or alcoholic beverages, or even little things like a pint of Ben & Jerrys or some sunflower seeds.

I heard the store was under new ownership, so I checked it out and I have to say it’s totally brand new ! It’s got something called a beer cave where the customer can go inside and pick from any of there assortment of beers . There’s a deli coming soon also I was told. I’ll definitely be going back !
