I needed new brakes on my 2014 Tacoma. Being a vehicle that I plan to keep for a very long time, I decided to upgrade the stock front brakes to StopTech. And convert the rear drum brakes to disc brakes.I have used WOW auto care before, so I knew to expect the usual from them, good customer service, great communication, competitive pricing, and a fast turnaround time. However, I was not sure how interested they would be in a custom project like a rear disc brake conversion.Before I even gave them the truck, Nolan helped me make sure that we had everything we needed before taking the truck. We worked together on making sure the rotors were what I wanted, whether a master cylinder upgrade was necessary, and what color my calipers should be.While it was there, Nolan was very communicative.The quote was very competitive and WOW Autocare honored it despite the labor hours exceeding what the quote specified.Turnaround time was average, it was a custom job. But there were no calls saying they ran into a problem like I have experienced before at other places. Which is so nice to experience after having bad encounters with other repair shops. So much less to worry about with WOW Autocare...Thats really it. WOW Autocare does a great job at getting rid of car related stress by simply doing everything right.

I would never take trust my car anywhere else. I always go to these guys. Finding a good mechanic who is fair and with integrity is really hard to find. This is what these guys are. They do a quality job and they charge you only for the job they do. And they do a great job!

Its one thing to be an expert but its another to be masters. This team is full of masters in their field of work.Too of the line customer service(Ive been in the technical customer service industry for over a decade), everyone there knows what they are talking about, they talk to you in full detail about your vehicle, they found things about my vehicle I forgot to tell them about(sorry guys) down to custom aftermarket bolts.They fixed my cars allignment and left me with a huge smile going from ear to ear.If I went to some.other shop I know(and have) seen them do the bare minimum for an allignment. These guys go all out to make sure all parts of the suspension and structure are alligned property.They are a bit more expensive than other shops as far as allignment is concerned but you get what you pay for and Id pay for that excellent service and expertise again and again.Im taking my second vehicle here next. Once again, I am so impressed and satisfied with both, service and repairs on my vehicle at Poway Wow! I was just going in for an Oil change, but because the techs are so thorough, I discovered that my engine was burning oil... not the same thing as leaking oil, I learned....so, I get the full description of the issue and suggestions on how to proceed, which included a strategy to measure the oil on my own every few weeks, and they would teach me how to do it correctly, and then, to come in for a check at 500 miles, so that they could determine exactly how much oil was being used to re evaluate the strategy, going forward... They are sooooo skilled and talented in what they know and do, AND they are courteous, considerate and thoughtful in their interactions with customers... I also love the clean and comfortable environment when you are waiting... free water, charging stations, snacks, etc... just an nice extra perk! So happy with these guys... I TRUST their work, advice, suggestions and continuous care.. Thank goodness, I found my reliable and trustworthy mechanics for the life of my vehicle at WOW! THANK YOU!

WOW auto is a solid place to take your vehicles. Shop was super clean and has great customer service. I was updated on my vehicles status by text multiple times (3) during the day. I brought my vehicle in for tire rotation, alignment, filter, and oil change. They found a nail in one of my tires and brought it to my attention. Price was fair for the type of facility it is. It costs to keep up a nice place with quality workers so I get it. My vehicle was completed in a timely matter then I was on my way.I recommend WOW to friends, family, and anyone looking for vehicle services. Good job guys!!!

I think I know why its called WOW. Thats exactly how I felt when our service was completed! Wow they are such nice, friendly, honest people! Its family owned and has such a warm feel walking in! They make you feel like youre a friend from the get go! They provided great service and werent trying to make any issues sound dire. They were upfront with the recommended services after the full inspection on things that they would put a priority on and others that could wait a little bit. They worked seamlessly with a warranty we have on our car and even have extended warranties on the services and part they used on our car. Nice facility! Never knew they had such creature comforts as a nice waiting room with a kid’s area, restroom, etc. Made an appt. as recommended and I was greeted promptly and professionally. Top notch work and customer service. I called at the last minute, because my schedule opened up and I needed to get my vehicle in for a check-up after a major service. I came in for a brake fluid exchange first thing in the day and they got me back on the road about 90 minutes later.The people I spoke to were all very kind and professional. Great shop, but when you have to pay extra on your alignment for them to adjust, its just wrong. Especially when it was only out .9 on driver side and less than 3 on passanger. I guess taking off a tire and using a wrench is tough for a mechanic. The first time I got it aligned they adjusted it for free, confusing. Sorry, I made you guys mad because I enjoy working on my car. I installed the adjustable upper camber arms for you and saved me $ and you time.

Looking at the business from the outside, it doesnt look like there is a lot of activity because of the beautiful murals they have on the walls, it looks like a museum of art, but dont let that be a deterrent for you to come visit.The environment is very clean, and everyone is super friendly and courteous. The waiting room is like what you will find inside a Mercedes or BMW dealership! It has all sorts of snacks and beverages and coffee and hot chocolate! They even have a popcorn maker. Not only do they work in American cars, they also have a knack for European cars, so if you have concerns or need work on your European car, this is the place to go. Great service, we were informed my alignment would take an hour and a half, but thankfully it was not that long. Conveniently located near a coffee bean and ton of food options to choose from while you wait. Price was reasonable, would recommend.

A recommended alignment shop that has done two of my cars with a professional feel to it. Prices can be beat at some other places, but it seems like they want to work at the quality end of the market. Little around to walk to if you have to wait, but their waiting room is pleasant.

After keepin me on the phone for a few more minutes getting more information (who said you needed the repair, what else do you need, sure you don’t need something else, etc) said again we don’t quote on the phone.Polite, so two stars. I’m really thankful for the help and services I received from WOW Auto Care. My car was spilling oil when I was driving my car to the shop. The manager and Jeff helped me right away. They went through thorough diagnostic and found the problems. They explained everything to me and got things fixed. They actually saved my car for me. I was referred to WOW Auto Care by Discount Tire in Poway. I bought a used van with wheel locks and the key was lost, so I couldnt remove or rotate my tires. I took it to probably 5 auto repair/tire & wheel shops and none of them could help me. I took it to WOW Auto Care and they looked at it and got it in right away. They are were on pricing, very straight forward, and also nice to work with. The customer service is amazing, and the seating/waiting area is nice too. They have WiFi so I could work while I was there, and some water and snacks. Overall a 5 star experience. Would highly recommend.

This is a clean, stylish shop. They have excellent time management and are very good at explaining the procedures. They are familiar with classic cars, even my 50 year old Alfa Romeo. Ill certainly go back again.

Post cross country move, my 73 Vette needed some work. Being a simple minded fellow, I wasnt sure what needed to be done but i knew it needed work. Based off of my uncle`s recommendation, I took my vehicle to WOW. Simply put, wow. The team at WOW took care of me and my dream car. Honesty, integrity, and quality work sums it up for this business. Where do I start. As most people know, it is so hard to find an honest mechanic let alone a good one. Wrench on Wheels has got be one of the most professional and reasonably priced auto repair shops in San Diego. These guys replaced my oxygen sensor and did some other auto work that I would have paid at least twice as much if I went to the dealer. The cool thing is Dave will even come to you if need be. I have been using Wrench-On Wheels for about two years now.I have a Honda Pilot with 190,000 miles. Dave and his team have really brought thiscar back into tip top running condition. I took my car Nissan Sentra 2012 for ilignment and brakes to Wow Auto Care because was higjly recommended by the manager where I bought the 4 tires. After checking the reviews rating that is almost five starts, I decided to take my car there for an inspection. They have an outstanding customer service, knowledgeable, polite and honest After the inspection they send me a text very detailed what my car needed as well as a phone call. I gave them green light to go ahead to do the job. After a few hours, they gave me back my car and a printable paper detailing the job that was done with a guarantee. I higly recommend Wow Auto Care

Got a great deal on alignment, and they reported all was good with the service check.. however, I go to get oil chamged down the street and they show me my breaks are at 6% and my TPMS sensor is bad... Which makes me wonder if they even checked anything during the service (other than alignment). They said they did.. but should have caught brakes and TPMS sensor (I would have had them fix them then!). Not sure what else was missed :( Oh well.

Theyll try to milk as much money from you as they can!! I went to go get new brakes for my civic, they tried charging me over $1400!!! I told them how insane that is and that i am not going to spend that much when all I needed was new brakes. They said they wont put the wheels back on and let me go until I pay $50.. just to screw the dang wheels back on.. Ridiculous. I went to Midas down the street and got some quality brakes for around $300. Dont come here and waste your money, these greedy people will try and murk you

One of the most stressful times in life is when you need to have your car repaired! My life is now stress free thanks to Dave Pike & his team at Wrench on Wheels in Poway. Ive got a 2007 GMC Acadia with over 100,000 miles on it and he keeps me running safe and sound. Got a price on replacing my thermostat housing for $300. Took it to a different place and got it done plus they looked over my whole van before our trip, replaced a break light and rotated my tires for $279.00. Guess they are not the best deal in town.
