After the first place I tried told me theyd charge $80 for the inspection if I didnt get the work done there, I left right away. I went down the street to Midas thinking, oh well, lets try these guys. They were super nice and professional. They told me theyd do the inspection, no charge regardless. So i left my car there. I was sort of dreading the we have to do rotors and pads for all four wheels and it will cost a fortune call, so when I got the call saying just the fronts, I figured they were honest. I had them throw in an oil change and he gave me a break on the price and rotated my tires no charge. They were done by noon. Everything sounds perfect! Im making them my go-to shop. Maybe I could have paid a bit less? Im not sure because I didnt shop around much but I feel confident I got good value and the service was friendly, professional and great.

I am a regular customer last 6 months replacing breaks, rotors, shocks..so on so forth. Today after they changed oil, the check list paper indicated there were possible nails in front two tires. So I asked the front desk guy what it meant by possible nails in my tires. He said tires were low pressure so there might be nails in my tires. 😭 I asked the front desk guy if he could visual check whether there were nails in both front tires actually rather speculating possible nails in the tires so I could address the issue immediately before returning. He refused to check tires condition because the front tires thread depth are low and need new tires. But the check list shows my tires have decent thread depth. I asked him a couple of times to check because it is safe related issue. He kept saying I need new tires. It was very hard to talk to him since he refused to listen to me. I came back home without knowing whether there were nails in my tires. It was a horrible experience and they were careless about their customers.

Today after my experience at Midas, I would only spend my money with these guys for oil changes or new tires. I left LA fitness rushing to get back to work, and I noticed my back right tire was flat, I stopped by there to get air, to last me for a few days, and this guy named Jack, (maybe Nate, could have been Steve) stop what he was doing to inflate mt tires. When I asked what it would take to patch the tires, he got right on it and had me back on the road to work without skipping a beat. These days you cant find a service like this.

The sales manager Nayt is a great guy. He fixed my Lexus exhaust issue within half an hour and didnt charge me for the service. It was pleasure doing business with him. Ill go back to him for other services.

Best car experience, hands down!!! Our son had just turned 18 and was a bit nervous going in for his first time on his own. The Midas team was educated, understanding and explained in detail what needed to get done and did it in a very timely manner. Our son was comfortable and confident enough to call me and say, “mom it’s under control and they’re very open and honest so no need to come down.” Since then, he and our daughter have been there for a light that turned on and were taken care of, as if...they were family. Went to Midas for an oil change, everything went great or so I thought. The oil change was pretty quick, they didnt hassle me to buy any other services. A few days went by and my car leak oil all over my garage due to the oil filter. The oil filter was almost completely off of the bolt. Now I have a big oil strain in my once cleaned garage and on the asphalt leading up to the garage.

Brake inspection was free and very helpful.

The work was fine but the advertised price for an oil change was $24.95 and I was charged $59.95. I was told it was because the oil filter on my car is more expensive than most. I will not return.

I’m always nervous about finding a garage I can trust. I’ve been here 3 times now and EVERY SINGLE TIME I feel great about the experience, they are very fair in their prices (I do my research), and they give great options.They took care of my car when another place did a terrible job. From now on, this is my #1 shop.

Ive gotten my oil change a few times here, and twice my oil has been practically double filled to where white smoke would shoot out my exhaust. I was told by the techs that its not a big deal! Also have bad oil leaks after leaving from an oil change...my car is a 2015 Camry and is well taken care of...it saddens me to work so hard to maintain my car to have abused by careless mechanics..I will never again take my car to Midas Poway as it seems that they are just too careless. They are very knowledgeable so seems to me that they do this stuff on purpose..the car is supposed to pass a check before being released right?

This place is under new management. Mike, the new manager, is doing a tremendous job. I take my work truck and my personal vehicle here now. My audi takes almost 6qts of heavy oil (5w-40), got a full synthetic oil change for $63 (before tax). These guys know whats up.

Had an amazing experience with this Midas. The staff are friendly and have excellent customer service. I had a nightmare experience with the Firestone next door so I took my car to this Midas and they got the job done no problem. 10/10 would recommend

Awesome and honest service. I had an idea that there was an issue with my suspension, but also thought it was the brakes. They inspected my vehicle within 30 minutes. Said the brakes were fine, but my lower control arms needed to be replaced. I ordered the parts, brought them in, and they installed them without an appointment in under 3 hours. Honest mechanics are rare, I highly recommend.

The guys who work here are always super nice and accommodating. I dont feel like theyre trying to upsell me on services and they explain things very well. My visits dont usually take too long either. They are quickly becoming my regular shop.

These guys are fantastic. Came in with a transmission problem. They not only diagnosed the problem but then figured out it was still under warranty. Gave me a printout of the exact problem and sent me to a dealership to get the work done for free. I will definitely repay them by returning with my future automotive needs.

This crew is awesome. I knew I had at least a small issue with my brakes. Turned out to be more than I expected. Front right was down to metal (and it never gave the tattletale squeal). Left rear shoes were gooed from a slow leak on the axle seal. Short story - all fixed, new rotors, pads, bearings, axle seals, shoes and drums. They stayed late to finish same day. Very happy with the service and attention to detail. If you need work done, give these folks a shot. Timing, service, and price were all good

Drew here is the man! He is an incredible guy, and runs his shop with the best customer service Ive ever experienced. Even though this is a Midas show and a franchise, you feel like it is run with the customer service of a mom and pop mechanic. Drew takes great care of his customers and his community and really makes you feel listened to. I am horrible with cars so this was a big help for me and they had my car running quickly at a very affordable price. I will certainly be a lifelong customer of Drews!

I came in to check my brakes and they told me my brakes were fine. Aaron at the front desk even brought me to my car to show how much life my brakes had left. He told me other issues that my car had but it was super low/no pressure sales. I really appreciate their honesty and professionalism.

Great service overall

The first experience was not impressive I went in to inquire about an alignment repair thought to put my name to wait for help, but there’s no such system exists and the guy told me to sit down and he will call me next But he called somebody else instead I obviously not thrilled about it. If they can’t manage who to call next they should consider to put a clipboard for a call lists.

I brought in a car that I was looking to purchase. Aaron took us for a test drive and carefully described the potential transmission issues his expert ears could detect. Then he put it on a lift and showed us torn CV boots and a leaking valve cover. He discussed what repairs were critical and which ones could wait. It was a great mechanic experience.

Spoke to Drew over the phone in regards to my engine light, told me to take in and they will read the code for me. Took it in and they were pretty honest and helpful. This location is highly recommended due to their honesty and helpfulness.

This place correctly diagnosed the problems with my car and repaired at a reasonable price. The rotors were completely bare and needed to be replaced with the brake job. Their warranty on brakes and rotors is outstanding. They showed me other repairs on my shocks that would be upcoming but not yet needed and I appreciate them taking the time to show me so it will not be a surprise later. The service manager and mechanics have a positive attitude and confidence in their work emanates. The waiting area has a great family friendly ambience and other happy customers abound. Will definitely be coming back.

UPDATE: Kudos to Drew. He went out of his way to follow up with me and finally fix the pulsation issue and even an additional issue of squealing rear rotor along with it. He had a bay ready for me this time when I arrived at the agreed time. Thanks! He is the reason I am switching from 1 star to 5 star rating. Drew test drove my car to verify my complaint. I came in for an oil change and an annoying noise coming from under the car. Turns out it was a simple fix in the center cap of the wheel. I appreciate the honesty of the guys at this place. They couldve taken me for a ride, yet they fixed the gripe for no charge and changed the oil. Honesty and integrity is what youre gonna find here.

I had my 2006 impala towed to midas, I called ahead and worked with Aaron & Tony to set it up. They sent me a quote the same day and assured me that my vehicle would be ready that same day. The tow ended up showing late and so my vehicle didnt reach them until almost 3 on Thursday the 28th. They assured me that my vehicle would be ready by the close of business that night or first thing Friday morning. I recieved the call at 5:40 that if I wanted my vehicle to come on down and they would stay late to ensure that it worked properly and the repair worked. I was so pleased to have Mr. Domingo as my auto technician he stayed late along with the whole team to get me back up and running. They were all extremely professional, and not to mention fair priced. Mr. Domingo did an excellent job on my impala, and never complained about staying over. Truly midas of poway saved the day and everyone was awesome. I highly recommend this repair shop for anyone needing work. As a side note they replaced my alternator if anyone was curious. They also beat out Firestone, meineke, and various other auto shops with their pricing. Basically to sum things up, go here for your vehicle care, they are top notch

Had a mid day emergency that involed my car leaking all of its coolant. The guys here could not have been better! They took me in on very short notice and looked at my car almost right away even though they had a full garage when i arrived. And were even nice enough to drive me back to work when they figured out that they would need a few hours with the car.They took me in the garage and showed me every single thing they found. Made of list of recommendations, and were honest enough to tell me what could wait and didnt need to be replaced right away ( even when the item they said could wait was the biggest ticket item on the list).Would definitely recommend. Fast, friendly, and honest.
