I have taken 3 cars to this shop. They are wonderful and respect your time! Will bring future automobiles for work
They were pleasant and very helpful to me in getting my claim filed with AAA. I was very grateful for that.
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They have stayed in touch with me giving me updates on a regular basis. Highly recommended and they are a AAA preferred shop.
My car was near totaled a couple years ago due to a driver who pulled out in front of me. They did an excellent job! I had a leased vehicle that was only a year old that I didnt want totaled and they made sure to fix it within the budget! They had it ready earlier than expected, had excellent communication along the way, and returned it looking brand new! I would definitely use them again! Its been almost 2 years since they fixed it and It still runs and looks brand new!
I was sent here from my insurance company right after I got in a wreck. They made my car look like nothing even happened. They also will work with your insurance company as much as they can, and call you with updates on your car. Finished sooner than what they said it would of been! I recommend this place if you ever get in an accident!
Used these folks several times and have always been happy with their work. First place I think of when thinking of bodywork for my cars. Wish they could fix my body!
If your at a collision shop its usually NOT by choice. However if I have a choice I would gravitate towards a smaller family owned business like PVC. I understand they have been in business for thirty years or so. The manager Mary was very easy to work with and the tech Cody was like an old school artisan trapped in a young mans body. Reality is you will still be working with the insurance company so be proactive and patient.
It was a pleasure to walk into a comfortable, Clean and presentable lobby. Their facility is well maintained, swept, etc. and could pass an Army Drill Sergeant inspection. Great work, with a courteous staff who handled my claim professionally.
Gil Rousset is the best he helped me with my 2015 Nissan Quest in getting back to pre-collision state. Although my accident can be classified as a “fender bender” I was treated with first class service! Gil arranged for my car rental right down to keeping me informed on where my van was at during the repair stage(s).Jim Francella was nice enough to offer a ride to Enterprise Rent a Car for my son and I but I was unable to do so since I have a severely dislocated ankle and his SUV was too high for me to get in. Jim was compassionate to try and take care of my needs.Bottom line Poway Valley Auto Collision provides excellent customer service and outstanding workmanship. Thanks Gil should I have the lucky misfortune of needing bodywork again due to an accident you know where I will be going to, Poway Valley Auto Collision. Thanks so very much,Mark Cruz2015 Nissan Quest SLDOL: November 30, 2019Date Completed: December 6, 2019
We got our car fixed on our budget
This was my first time dealing with Poway Collision, and I hope that its not representative. I had moderate damage to a 2014 FIAT 500E. As far as I can tell so far the damage was fixed, but it took 1 day short of two months to complete. There were a couple of extenuating circumstances such as Christmas and New Year, and some parts that took a couple of days to order, but two months was way out of line. During that time they missed at least half a dozen promised completion dates. So I did get my car back fixed, but I had the inconvenience of living without it for far longer than I should have. I had couple of other minor gripes. One was that while they replaced one tire that was damaged they left me with a car with one brand new tire and 3 almost bald ones. I would have happily paid to have at least one other tire replaced so that I didnt immediately have to figure out how to get new tires. In addition, they didnt bother to check tire pressure and the warning light was on, so the first thing I had to do after picking up the car was to find somewhere to check my tire pressure. These werent essential things, but would have made a difference if theyd been taken care of. My real gripe, however, was with how long it took to get the work done. It should not have taken anywhere near that long. I wont be talking cars there in the future.
Went in for an insurance estimate. They were fast, friendly, and thorough. Good first impression.
I was not impressed by the service or employees at the front desk. Employees are short and a bit rude. Mary the BOSS is moody and speaks over you. I heard they did good paint and body work but Im not going to find out. I refuse to be treated like an invoice. Id hate to see how they treat you if you had a concern or issue with their work.
This is by far the best body shop Ive used. Thanks for the great work!
Poway Valley Collision pushed the completion date out twice. They forgot to send me a copy of the estimate...I had to go to the location to receive a copy of it. Poor communication to the point of having to call them, the receptionist tells me they would call me back, and having to call back two hours later with the receptionist saying, they forgot to call me back. When I went in to find out the status of my car on the day it is supposed to be finished, they told me they normally call between 3 and 5 pm. I explained that something like that should be communicated to a customer. Overall, Im not happy with the lack of communication and poor customer service.
