Im editing this review because someone from the store called me after my posting a 1 star review. He resolved the issue. Unfortunately this turned out to be a simple decision which I would have preferred to make months ago.
I ordered a pool ladder UPS delivered half of the order and sent the other part back. With 2 emails and 3 phone calls I still havent received the other part and not one person has contacted me. The ladder was close to 400 dollars. I keep getting the run around. How hard is it to resend it back to me and at least contact me.
After getting a heating system, new pump, and salt water conversion done by another pool company last year, we discovered Royal Pools and couldnt be happier. When opening the pool this season they discovered a massive leak on the heating unit. They jumped into action and Joe handled all the discussions with the manufacturer to get it repaired under warranty, keeping me up-to-date on his progress. After some time, Joe came through and got everything worked out, we had the piece replaced, and have been enjoying our heated pool ever since. Highly recommend them for all pool needs in the Hudson Valley.

We went here and could not have been happier. Leslie not only answered all our questions also had great advice. This is our 3rd spa they have come they have come a long way. There was a nice selection with many options. If you are interested in purchasing a spa make a point of going and see Leslie, you will be happy you did, and will have knowledge about spas. There was no pressure to make a purchase, any questions we had after we left were answered via email. Cannot wait for our new spa to be delivered.😊 Thank You Leslie
If you are looking for an honest company Royal Pools is the place to shop. They are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We bought an above the ground pool from Royal Pool and Spa and 36 days later the lining was defective. However, Royal Pools and Spa stood behind their product and repair the pool until the summer was over and before they closed the pool they replaced the lining and corrected the defective lining free of charge. Of course COVID 19 made it more difficult to fix it but Royal Pools manages to replace the defective lining. At the beginning, we were very disappointed to through all the trouble of basically a new installation. Overall we are happy with the work they did as promised.
Hands down the best location to get all your pool supplies! With beautiful weather right around the corner I had to get supplies to get my pool swim ready. Staff was very knowledgeable, personable, and energetic. Prices are the best around! Royal pools and spas, thanks for having such an amazing staff here and competitive pricing! Will definitely be back soon!
They are so into selling you a new product rather then helping to fix or repair items they sell.Call us in two weeks and maybe we can get to you !!! Guess they don’t understand the summer season will be over by then.Apparently the county fair is more important then taking care of customers.Do your self a favor and shop someplace else. If I could leave negative stars I would.
Rich came to close my pool. He did a fantastic job and was very pleasant. Congrats on the people Royal Pools employ as I have had so many staff members who are knowledgeable and most of all, extremely nice. I recommend their services to all.
These guys are great! My hot tub is over 15 years old and they still managed to get it up and running again quickly! Staff is knowledgeable and professional. Its hard to find a good service these days but Royal Pools definitely went above and beyond to help me when no other company would. Thank you again!

Disclosure: I never bought anything from them. My experience is related entirely to me trying to use them as Bullfrog service professionals. I contacted them because there are no other Bullfrog specialists anywhere near. My original dealer doesnt deal with Bullfrog anymore, so when this year I ran into an issue with my spa I had no other choice but to ask Royal Pools for help. After a very long and rocky road my tub seems to be finally fixed. Too bad it took 7 months. I took frustratingly long to figure out everything between Bullfrog and the dealer and what and how to get it fixed and multiple pricey replacement parts multiple times with very long shipping periods and appointment scheduling. I wish I could give more than a 3. A great experience would be worth 4-5 stars when it takes like a week to fix at most. But 7 months just doesnt cut it. I mean its great that the tub works now, but man it took a lot.

My wife and I bought the A8L Bullfrog hot tub 3 months ago, and we are delighted. We use it every day, sometimes twice a day.We shopped at 3 different hot tub showrooms and Royal Pools and Spas was the only one to offer a “wet test.” (Thank you, Leslie!) I really wanted to see if we could clearly feel the effect of these cool interchangeable “jet packs.” The answer is YES! You must experience the Four Oscillator 201 jet pack. It really gives you a kneading back massage, as long as you want, where you want it. The waterfall, beyond being merely cool, really gets hot water to muscles on the upper neck and back of the head. When you turn off the waterfall feature, it has 4 firm jets which really get into your back. The Neck Blaster jet pack does the job well. You will want 1 lounge chair, but you don’t need 2. The lounge chair gets jets on your legs, feet and back, at the same time.Besides being relaxing, warming and de-stressing, it provides real hydrotherapy for sore muscles after vigorous exercise, yoga, muscles damaged from surgery, aches and pains from previous car accident or other trauma, arthritis, etc.The design and engineering of the bullfrog hot tub are praise-worthy. I appreciate all the thoughtful details: the external and internal lights, lighted cup rests, arm rests, wrist jets, hip jets, foot jets, control valves on each jet pack, easy to understand control panel. Kudos!Hey Bullfrog designers and engineers: Could you possibly relocate the bottom drain from the bottom of the sidewall to the flat bottom of the tub for better draining, so we don’t need to use buckets, a shop vac or spa pump to drain the water?Royal Pools provides a starter spa chemical kit, steps to get in and out, a cover and lifter arm. Make sure to ask for the handrail, too. You will need and use it.BONUS: As an experienced CPA tax specialist in Staatsburg, NY, I can say that this spa is definitely TAX DEDUCTIBLE, by individuals and businesses, according to the Internal Revenue code. Make sure you take advantage of this. What could be better than a government tax deduction/subsidy of YOUR hot tub?Now, we spend more time outdoors, during the day and at night, and we feel better. I went there a few months back for my mother who had some important medical care to get done. She sent me for information on pools she should get for family reunions at her house. The staff was awesome, and if I have the room for my own home, definitely the first place i’ll stop by
I bought a pool here in the end of the summer, they said they would install it, as it turns out they lied. Instead they just gave me the pool and waited until the winter was over. Since it started getting warm out I called again so they can install it, they refused to install my pool and now its damaged because of the harsh weather. They violated their contract, I wasted more than 1000. Now they are getting sued!!!

They have absolutely some of the worst customer service I have experienced consistently. Was having an issue with water pump couldnt get someone to come out for two weeks. Couldnt get a follow up call for two weeks after visit about when the part would come in. Pool pump died 14 days before scheduled closing they had already charged me for. Unable to accommodate moving the closing up. If youre an existing customer who pays them the $130 to do a pool check up each visit monthly you are probably treated well. If your not that person, dont even bother. They suck.
