My husband and I knew we wanted a new kitchen, but we werent on the same page. I wanted blue cabinets. He wanted maple wood grain. I wanted clean lines. He wanted shaker. I wanted a giant island. He asked what island? Fortunately, John was able to talk us through options and get us to prioritize our must haves. He focused on pleasing each of us, and the kitchen he ultimately designed exceeds every expectation. Were so excited! John was very patient with us and spend hours working and reworking plans for us. He also advised when to order cabinets for the best prices. When we compare prices to friends who purchased kitchen supplies from big box home shops, we got a better deal!

Professional consultation with more choices and lower prices than anywhere else in town… Couldn’t be happier with the service! I am genuinely surprised by the negative review from a potential customer who found John’s covid protocols off-putting. We also planned our kitchen with john during the pandemic. We found him incredibly accommodating. We appreciated his concern for safety and respected all of his precautions. He made sure every question was answered promptly. We also engaged directly with the contractor on the build questions. We didn’t expect john to know the cost of construction. John was our go to for the design, cabinets, and counters. Mike, our contractor, has been in lock step with john and equally accessible to answer construction questions.

We asked a simple thing which this business couldnt accommodate After asking them to come into home and give us a remodel proposal sent via email, they insisted on a face to face meeting. When I said I would come, I was told it had to be both of us. Classic sales game to get decision makers together. Then Im told it had to be a zoom meeting together After back and forth emails just asking for the proposal to be sent to review, The owner calls and said thats the way they do business. Well, Im potentially hiring them. Im not wasting another hour of time Just to review a simple proposal which could be done at home together when we have time. Oh, but wait. The owner couldnt give a construction cost. What? The owner doesnt know? Thats laughable Heres the good part. The owner said once price is agreed to, all communication goes through the contractor who works for him. Essentially washing his hands of responsibility. Personally people, if this initial experience is this bad and a simple request For a proposal cant be granted, Then its time to move on. The owner laughing on the phone When I was talking was the Reason why we would never use them. Just a unacceptable experience with these guys. Look around people. I got two other proposals with none of these issues Other companies came, sent a proposal and all was good.

We just had our ancient kitchen redesigned and renovated by John and his team. Were so happy with the result; the design looks great and the work went quickly and without any trouble. The men who took down the old cabinets and installed the new flooring, cabinets, and electrical system, as well as plumbing and painting, did a great job with attention to detail and no corners cut. KBD just completed a Kitchen remodel for us and we wanted to acknowledge them for an amazing result and an overall great experience. From the moment we walked in the door until our first meal that we cooked, the owner followed the job to assure that everything went well and that we were happy. We were impressed initially by a professional and straight forward estimate process (which by the way ended up 100% accurate) and then a very timely installation. The staff who installed the cabinets and floors literally made us feel like family when they were here and that was appreciated too. I am updating my kitchen on a budget and I walked in to discuss my options as I was only able to afford a countertop. First of all, Heath and John showed me a things in my price range and did not try to upsell.me on anything. I didnt feel pressured. They were very helpful and patient. Second, the template guys came earlier than expected on my given window and they were able to install the next day! (Which is a complete fluke and is normally 2weeks turnaround time but they had a hole in their sched and were able to install it (again earlier than the window they gave me). They were in constant contact with me to ensure that everything ran smoothly, and it did. The people they used for each part of the job were professional, and did excellent work. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them when it is time for new cabinets.

We bought kitchen cabinets, two vanities, countertops and sinks for our new house. Every aspect of my experience with Kitchens by Design was excellent. From the beginning stages of viewing samples, design, coordinating colors with countertops to delivery and installation of countertops went smoothly and without any issues.
