Bought a $2500 utility trailer from them to make a 1,000 mile trip hauling a motorcycle. I had to replace both hubs and bearings to finish the trip. They act like they want to help but Im having a very hard time getting on the phone with them to be reimbursed. Before the sale they were great! After the sale Very Very Poor customer service! This has been going on for a little more than a month now. Definitely would not recommend them at this point.

They sold my trailer after I had a deposit down.went to pick up my black cargo trailer and they tried sticking me with a white one. My black one was there also with new ladder racks.maybe some one offered more money.idk

Had an awesome experience purchasing an enclosed 6 x 12 cargo trailer, which they had in stock with all of the features I was looking for. Rick went above and beyond, even helped me move a large quantity of material for a big job over from my cramped pickup into my sweet new enclosed trailer, on a Friday evening! These guys are great, if youre looking for a trailer this is the place.

I paid the deposit on a Reading space cap for my 2019 Ford F-350 on 3/13/2019. I was told it would be apron 6-8 weeks for delivery.After numerous telephone calls with the salesman Bill to get a schedule the cap was finally installed 9/26/2019, a 6 month wait. The installation went off without a hitch, so I ordered another cap for our other truck and paid the deposit on 9/30/2019, understanding there was no way to tell when it would come in.I received a call that the cap was coming in about 3 weeks ago, then the delivery was delayed, which I understand. I get the call the Capp is in and schedule the installation for Thursday 3/12/19, a little over 5 months, no big deal.I send one of my men do drive the truck to their shop in Poughkeepsie, ny and wait during the installation as we did the last time. I was told after the installation by Bill that they forgot to order the trim pc that finish the high lift door to the tailgate. No big deal ship it to me I will install it.When my employee gets back with the truck the high lift door rubs the center and left side of the tailgate and top of the fender so much the only way to open or close the door is to open the tailgate first.There are white rub marks on the plastic cover to the tailgate and the fender, so someone had opened and closed the high lift door a few times. I called Bill and let him know what I found and it looked like whoever installed the cap left it like that, and followed up with pictures. We discussed bringing the truck back with the cap when they get the trim pc in.I start looking at the Cap and realize the door itself is off level of the cap by 3/8 of an inch, and it is not adjustable, the only way to fix it is to shim the cap up on the corner to create space.This is when Bill calls back, says they looked at the pictures and the cap must have moved, or come loose on the drive back. The men were rushing to get the work done because I had someone there waiting for the truck.So to his telling me it was my fault his guys were rushing because my driver was there did not go over well, after spending close to $10,000 on 2 truck caps and waiting 6 and 5 months for them to be delivered and installed, I am being blamed because someone did not check their work.The manager Rick texted me to discuss what happened, I explained and asked them to send me the trim pc, I will take care of the adjustments myself.Disappointing.

Got a hitch, wiring harness and trailer brake installed for a customer. They offered expedited shipping to meet my customers deadline, were prompt in getting back to me and had it done ahead of schedule so that I could have the time to properly clean the truck to deliver for my customers. When my customers took the truck home, they werent able to get the brakes working but they were able to assist my customer in getting the brakes working for their first family trip in their NEW truck and trailer. In my experience Ive seen 2 types of dealers. One type is trying to RIP u off and make an extra few hundred, these guys are doing amazing volume so they dont need to do that to you. Flawless experienceI had a horrible experience at a competitor of theirs a couple years back. This experience was truly night and day. From the time I walked in they were friendly and welcoming and help me pick the perfect trailer for my needs.The price was fair they did everything with DMV, hitched the trailer up mounted the spare tire license plate and everything couldnt of gone easier. TJ was my sales guy, very knowledgeable and helped with additional stuff without being pushy. The The owner Steve even made it a point to come out and introduce himself and thank me for the purchase. While I was inside doing paperwork the yard guys were working like a well oiled machine getting trailer ready for me to take off. The whole process was less than a half an hour.

Great place I had an issue with my truck wiring, ( brother inlaw screwed up my wiring) they took care of it the same day, took care of the issue quickly picked up same day, very friendly staff... definitely recommend trailer king... awesome...

Been going here for years. Each time I go its a hassle getting them on the phone. Once I bring my rig in for service its never done right. Always have to go back a second time. If they dont have a part they forget to order it so I have to call again and again. Ultimately they complete the service but its a pita.

On June 1, 2020 after reading reviews and speaking with Rick, my wife and I made the 2 hour trip one way to Trailer King in Poughkeepsie NY. We were interested in a 6 X 12 single axle trailer with brakes (since brakes are required on trailers over 1k lbs. in NYS). We met with Rick and decided to buy a 2020 Wells Cargo Road Force. We left a deposit and requested e-track to be installed and agreed to pick up the trailer later that week. On Saturday June 6, 2020 my wife and I again made that 2 hour trip with cashier’s check in hand to pick up our new trailer. Unfortunately that’s where everything seemed to go down hill. When we got there we met with Steve who hooked up our trailer but unfortunately after trying everything he could for over 2 hours, he could not get the brakes to work properly. We were told by Steve that he would have his mechanics look at it on Monday and give us a call, all while apologizing and saying he would make it right. After not getting a call Monday or Tuesday, I called Trailer King on Wednesday to inquire what the status was. I was told by Rick that they had replaced the brakes on my trailer but still could not get the brakes to lock up or work correctly. Rick further stated they would have to chase the ground for the brakes and possibly run a new wire and he would call me back tomorrow. When I inquired if the warranty would still be intact since they replaced the brakes on a new trailer, I was then informed by Rick that 95% of the single axle trailers they get in do not have brakes. They install the brakes themselves and this in fact was the case with my trailer, which was not disclosed upfront! I reluctantly agreed to let them try to fix it as I needed the trailer. On Friday June 11, 2020 I called Trailer King as again I didn’t receive a phone call as promised on Thursday. I then got a call back from Rick who said “ Sorry but I was overrode by the owner who mailed back your deposit yesterday because we don’t have time to work on the trailer and have no idea when and if we will get the chance, so your free to look elsewhere”. So much for we will make it right! On Saturday, June 27, 2020 after still not receiving our deposit in the mail which they said was mailed out on June 10th, my wife called and spoke to Steve who told her he would have the accounting department call back on Monday. Received a call on Monday from accounting who stated they did not know why we were told the refund was already mailed out as they had no record of it. The person from accounting stated the check would be put in the mail and we finally received our deposit back on July 1st.In a nutshell, we were set back 2 weeks, we wasted 8 hours of driving plus gas and tolls, not to mention the time we spent there. Communication was horrible! Brakes on trailer were not Factory installed, which was not originally disclosed (a little shady). Then they basically dismissed us as it was not worth it to them to tie up one of their mechanics to fix this trailer. And after all that, they were less than truthful about mailing our deposit back the first time and the only reason we got it back when we did is because we called them AGAIN! Maybe if you live close to them the experience would be better but I would think twice before you make a trip to purchase from them. Don’t make the same mistake I did!!!

Just had the guys put on a brand new Boss plow for my 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. This is the second plow that I have had installed here (they did my 2013 Jeep). The work is professional and clean. They do a great job.

I picked up my Me/Benz ML350 after having a tow hitch and lights installed and I couldnt be happier with the quality of the install and the entire customer service experience. I called last week looking into a tow hitch for my ML350 and was quickly asked about the type of towing I was looking to do. I got a description of the equipment I would need and how long it would take to do the install. I made an appointment to have the work done this week and I got a call when my equipment arrived at the store and a reminder call the day before my appointment. I dropped my vehicle off and was promised it would be ready the next day. It was done and ready right on time, as promised, and the pick up and payment went flawlessly. I was charged exactly what I was quoted and the attention to good customer service was outstanding. The whole team was friendly and knowledgeable and I recommend them for all your towing needs. I will definitely be back when I am ready for a trailer upgrade.

Trailer King installed a Boss plow and Tonneau cover on my 2019 Chevy Colorado. They were very professional, and did an excellent job installing both items. Upon picking up the vehicle they spent 20 minutes making sure I understood how to operate and maintain the equipment. They even added a trailer king hitch receiver cover! Definitely shopping here in the future.

After bringing one of our McMahons Contracting trailers in for service there was still an electrical light issue which we felt was not addressed when it was serviced. Because we were starting vacation time today, there was no time to bring it back. I emailed, and the response to my communication was super fast. Ultimately a tech came out to our place of business after his working hours to check the trailer. It turned out the issue was with our truck NOT the trailer. They couldnt have been nicer about the entire thing. I highly recommend them for their professionalism, quality control and customer service.

This review is well deserved. Happy to take the time and say Steve, Rick and team were great. Very positive experience as they installed a BOSS HTX poly plow on my GMC Sierra. They were professional, responsive and price competitive. I am not local and had to wait for the install. The staff was nice enough to offer me food and proactively check in frequently w/ status updates. Once plow was finished, they took the time making sure I understood how to operate and maintain the plow. On top of that, they gave me a free LED strobe! What amazed me is their team work. It was non stop busy from 7:30 until I left and they ensured all customers were taken care of quickly. All with a positive attitude. Even the difficult customers walked out with a smile. Oh and I plowed 10+” that night and everything worked perfectly! Highly recommend.

We have had 2 Boss Plows installed by Trailer King over a 2 year period.. They are priced very competitively and customer service is top notch. Their mechanic even let me use his personal truck to run some errands while they were installing my plow. It was well worth the trip from Long Island.

Scamming bums. Take advantage of people. We went and they said 250$ for a trailer hitch installment. There was an extra part they needed and they said they werent sure if they were going to have it that day. Then they installed it and charged $650 without any concent from anybody. This is insane and absolutely obscure. Lets be real here. They dont want to hear it when they mess up. Call it a bad review you bums. Looks great when all your poor reviews you can call bad and false because you cant live up to it. Want another poor thing you all did that day? I got you! You locked our keys to the car in the gas tank and closed the door to it. Sit there for 20 minutes trying to open the door. Yes that did happen. Call it a bad review. I call it awful, scam, dirty sales team that wont live up to their errors. We will be sure to let everyone we know of our experience here.

Great customer service & fair pricing

This company is less than honest. They listed a motorcycle for sale on eBay, and I tried to buy it. We negotiated the price and I agreed to their demand for a cashier’s check for payment. Having agreed on everything, I arranged to travel over 800 miles to close the deal. Even though they had agreed to sell me the bike, they continued to advertise the bike for sale. The day before I left they emailed me, changing the terms of the sale. They were now demanding I wire transfer the money before I left. I would’ve been Ok with a wire transfer, but they either don’t know how wire transfers work, or they lied, trying to tell me it would take a day for the transfer to show up. Fact is, wire transfers are almost instantaneous.As it turned out, they didn’t have clear title as they promised. My guess is, they needed the money to pay off a loan. When I actually saw the bike I found out they misrepresented the mileage too – by a lot! Needless to say, I walked away, not knowing what else had been misrepresented. To be honest, it was more than the mileage. It was the whole experience that reeked of dishonesty. Thankfully, I know how wire transfers work and did not send them the money before seeing the bike.They’ve updated the eBay listing with a lower price, but they still haven’t listed the mileage correctly. This is not a simple oversight. They’ve changed the listing, relisted it, and still haven’t told the truth. Maybe that’s why they sell trailers – no odometer!Any business can get friends to post positive reviews. Read the real reviews, and the snarky responses. Nowhere will you read an apology. Honest businesses make mistakes and apologize. Dishonest businesses make excuses. I would not trust this company.

I was traveling with my camper and broke down looked up on Google for a repair shop called trailer King when I got there they looked very busy I went inside talk to the desk person told him what was wrong with my trailer and explained the I was heading to Pennsylvania to work and get horses ready to leave for a show the following morning then the owner Steve came over and said he would look at my trailer we went outside he told me they could fix it then went to the shop talked with two techs while they finished with what they were working on Steve unhooked my camper got it started then the techs came over pulled it apart put all the pieces back together and one tech fabricated parts for everything to work it was very hot outside and I wasnt sure I would make my destination but the shop finished everything and I was on the road I wish there shop was closer to where I lived they would do all my trailer work thank you trailer King
