Called for a break down of my bill and DAN did not want to deal with me and hung up on me. They charged me 177$ for 4 hinges and 6 rollers for my garage door. after the secretary told me the most expensive hinge was 10$. doesnt add up if you ask me stay away from these thieves.

I had my new garage door installed today. I could not have asked for a better installation and service. The installers came when they said they would. They were polite and did an amazing job. When they left my garage was spotless. They even wiped down the exterior of the door to make sure there were no smudges on it. Took plenty of time to explain all of the new features. I now have an insulated, virtually silent beautiful door. They are the best.

Website said open it wasn’t will not use them for two new doors. Another 30 minutes in my life I won’t get back.

It’s early morning and you’re tired. You get into your car, you open the garage door, are you backing out like you’ve always done several times. But this time, you went a bit too fast and dented your garage door. Now it won’t close. This is what my morning was like today. It was going to ruin my day, until I called the folks at Dutchess overhead doors. Originally, my appointment was set for the next morning, which I was already happy with. But to my surprise, I got a phone call this afternoon from one of their servicemen, Leif, that he’d be able to swing by. He was very sincere and honest. Did a great job with fixing the problem. He even went above and beyond to oil the wheels and the spring on my other garage door. Good to see honest, sincere, hard-working folks that are in the business of earning every buck they make, especially nowadays.

Purchased 3 large overhead doors for our barn. They had the best prices around. They were 10 foot doors and they were much better price than their competition and we purchase the wood grain look and they came in about $7,000 for three doors. Were very happy and look beautiful

Then when we had an issue after the recent storm, we called and they took time to talk us through the way we could remedy the problem without charging us.Great company we would highly recommend.

What a great experience! Not only Dan take the time and explain all the different options for Garage Doors he also went over the pros and cons of each style and type of door. I should also mention that the doors were delivered two weeks earlier than he stated and he painstakingly went over the staining with the painters and made sure every step was understood and followed.So rare but so refreshing to know that there are still companies out there that put the customers wants and needs first. Car damaged railings for garage door on recent Friday night. I called in request for emergency service at 10:00pm. Amazingly Dan from Duchesscalled me on Saturday at 7:30 AM and had two terrific pros at my house by 9:30AM Saturday and they had it repaired and fully serviced in 1 hour.In the Fall & Winter busy season they do have week-end crews available.

My garage door was not closing all the way, the support cables had come undone. I gave Dutchess Overhead a call and was impressed from the get go. The person who answered the phone was very friendly. When they came to check out the door, within 10 minutes the problem was diagnosed (broken spring). They ordered the part and about a week later came back and fixed it in under an hour. Even with coming out to New Paltz twice, ordering a part, and doing the work, the cost was very affordable. I highly recommend this company.Tl/dr: friendly and knowledgeable staff, affordable.

We had 8 doors installed for our auto repair shop about a year ago. Have an issue with a broken cable, door is stuck in position. Called for service on Wednesday afternoon. Receptionist tells me the tech will be here in the morning to repair. Tech calls in morning, says he will be in later that morning. All day goes by (with a door stuck partially open) and no one shows. Tech calls at 4:30 PM to say he wont make it but will be here in the morning. Another night with the door stuck partially open, and unable to use the bay for repairs. I call the office at 10:00 AM to see when we can expect him. I am told they will Try to get someone here in the afternoon to look at my broken, 1 year old commercial grade door. Jeff could not explain to me how they could possibly be so far off on their original estimate of Thursday morning. I guess I should have expected this, as most other reviews are terrible and the doors I purchased for my home were delivered and installed much later than originally promised. Dont make the mistake of using Dutchess Overhead. Customer service is terrible. I called Clegg Bros., they seem to understand the importance of timely repairs.

Called to schedule service. They never confirmed date and time. Called back to find out status and woman was incredibly rude. Told me date and time I was scheduled for which was first mention of any confirmed appointment. She was curt and short with me like I was bothering her. No thanks. You can keep your appointment.
