Brought our jet ski in to be repaired. Approved 550.00 in repairs. Declined winch repair when they called. Got the text it was all done with a bill of 780.00 something. When I called they admitted they should not have fixed the winch, they saw where we denied repairs. I was told they were taking that off of the bill. Got the revised bill which was still over 100.00 more than we approved due to “more time needed and extra parts” would have been nice for a phone call about that. Then my father in law picked up the jet ski and what they did was take off the new winch pieces and put our old one back on but now from being messed with it’s completely not usable. Called and was told the manager was away and I would get a call Wednesday and never heard from anyone. Very shady place to deal with and horrible customer service
Chris was super knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He was able to sell me a motorcycle without issues over the phone. Barb and Lee Ann also got everything together, so it was ready to go without delay when I arrived at the dealer. Being an out-of-towner they made me feel welcome and catered my every need. I ordered an expensive Can-am hoodie for my man this past Christmas. He just wore it for the first time and it is falling apart without any abuse on his part. Very disappointed on the quality, considering what I paid. I sent an email with my complaint and they were not offering anything and did not seem to be concerned about the issue.I will not order through this company again.

This is a revisit to how Can-Am leaves Dutchess Recreational in a bad spot. See my update below from 3 months ago.Now I had another issue March / April. I placed the order two weeks early from needing it to give me plenty of time receiving it by a deadline I needed it for. Well..... I now came to the conclusion Dutchess Rec does everything well/correct its anytime I go through a manufacturer ordering parts, etc. My suggestion is to skip the manufacturer and go straight to Dutchess who does a great job getting products out and the customer service is excellent and so much better then manufacturers.I have to THANK Katie from Dutchess on helping with my order via Can-Am and will order directly through them instead of manufacturers. Its a tough time with deliverys I know but Dutchess DOES care and makes things right. Trust them.... they are good.3 months ago. I ordered accessories from Can-Am who kept on delaying my order and had other shipping issues with them.Can-Am contacted Dutchess Recreational Vehicles to ship them to me. Cody (owner) understood I’ve been waiting for the parts from Cam-Am for a long time so he shipped them 2 day air to ensure I received them before we left on vacation. Bought two NEW 50cc ATV from them and within a week had to send one back for issues,both ATVs had to go back for issues, they spend more time waiting for repair than running,the last time I sent it in for lack of power and all they did was turn the goviner back and charged me $150.Everyone said avoid them at all cost,I should of listened,these people should not be in business

This part was hard to find it online and he got it for me. great guy, very friendlyAnything you need he can help you out if you can NOT find it online or in the dealer.

Where do I Start.. Well to start off this was not my first choice due to purchasing a motorcycle from Hudson Valley Motorcycles last August. I went back to HVM to look into trading in my Ducati Scrambler for a 2020 Kawasaki Z900 ABS. I called in and made an appointment to see what I was looking for and was told to be there at a certain time of day, which I Was. The sales person was horrible, he treated me like I was impeding on his time, even though I was there not to buy one motorcycle but decided to get my girlfriend one as well, which was explained to them. I decided to leave the place and never go back lets just leave it at that. I visited another site Big Boys Toyz and after leaving there disappointed, my girlfriend did a quick search and found Dutchess Recreation Vehicles. I called and Morgan answered the phone and quickly asked me what I was looking for and what I wanted. She was on the ball and right away I could tell this is the place! I gave here the info on the exact models I was looking to purchase. She told me she would call me back and within minutes I received a call back with her finding the exact models of the bikes I was looking for, and by the end of day we ended up purchasing both bikes. All in all the service was impeccable, all done via text and calls, everyone was on point and I could not be happier with the service. Both Morgan and the owner Jeff did an outstanding job taking care of things amidst the COVID pandemic and minimal resources. They will have a new customer for life!!!
I went back in March to inquire about a Sea Doo jetski. Morgan was super helpful! I loved working with her because she was not pushy or condescending. She answered all my questions and thoughtfully discussed details about who was riding, where and what I was looking for. There were a few delays (not Dutchess Rec’s fault), but it eventually showed up. Morgan continued outstanding customer service throughout pickup/delivery. I had an amazing buying experience there. I have previously been to other dealers and found that they were condescending or annoyed by my lack of knowledge BUT not there!!Thank you so much Morgan!! 😊
Idk how they do business called this morning hoping to schedule a time to bring in my companies Kawasaki mule that’s having an issue. Was told August 3rd was the earliest they could look at it how do you do business like that booking a months and half out is rediculas higher some more people if you have to. Not gonna stay in business that way would they be ok if the car was down that long?

When it comes to finding obsolete parts, this crew Can always find what I need and whenever I have questions on an item or part number, these guys knock it out of the park every time!!! Well, buying the bike was easy ill give that 5 stars because they sales people were amazing 2018 concours14. Now for what Im looking at, I was told fresh oil new filter.... yeah no, what I got was a filter that was probably the original that came with the bike in 2018 and my oil was over full buy over a half quart. So now I have to spend a weekend tearing the bike down to make sure everything is in place... THANKS DUTCHESS REC you guys are the best!!!

Purchased a can am side by side from the store almost a year ago. Used, but a good machine non the less. Decent service team, or so I thought. About 3 months ago I purchased a brand new 2020 raptor for my son. Have had issues with it and no matter who I speak to in service and other departments, they can’t be bothered. Seems like unless you go there and throw a fit they don’t really care after they take your money.
Bought an online tube from Sea-doo. Shipped from this place. I called about 2 months after purchase, when I had to chance to take the tube on the water. The tube, which was about 400+$ was a total bust. They said not able to do anything past 30 days. I dont live near here but if I did Id never take my money there again. Customer service is less than desirable.

My husband and I placed an order on Canam website and our order went to dutchess recreational vehicles. We called to make sure our order went through and we would have it by the weekend. Spoke to Katie very nice and accommodating. After she checked our order she told us her manager would deliver it on the weekend. On Saturday Avery came to our house to hand deliver our product. He went above and beyond on his day off. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Lets start from the beginning. I had a horrible initial experience from the beginning of my initial search for a can-am Spyder at another dealer. Found my way to DRV 75 miles from my home. I spoke to Chris in sales and saw the Spyder on the showroom floor that I likes. Asked for a demo ride and was told NO due to Covid. I was a little disappointed as this was going to be my first trike after years on 2 wheels. Settled in and tried to get the best price possible, but of course Covid came into the picture and was told it was sticker price only. After some back and forth we agreed on a price and the deal was done.Came back 2 weeks later to pickup the bike. it barely was cleaned, antenna was loose, it was basically how I saw it 2 weeks ago. I know they are crazy busy, but come on, I am spending almost $30k. The real kicker was when all the paperwork was done they asked for my license plate. Of course I had non because I need to get it registered in NJ after the purchase. NY State does not offer temp plates like NJ does so I was stuck. So after some back and forth discussions they agreed to deliver it to my home no charge. That made the whole experience worth it, a simple gesture turned a potentially bad outcome into a good one.Even though the dealership is 1.5hrs from my home I still plan on bringing it there for service. I am a firm believer that you should deal with the selling dealer after the sale. They made the money selling the bike, they should take care of it as well.
Ordered an item on their eBay store. Expressed that I was happy that they were located close to me (Albany area) and asked if they would ship out asap. Without the courtesy of a reply to my message, or advising me... they just canceled my order. No explanation.So I called them. Nice young gentleman who answered the parts phone couldn’t imagine why my order would have been canceled. And if so, why I wasn’t told about it??!! He took a detailed message for the “online guy” to return my call. He couldn’t be bothered to do so!!AWFUL SERVICE. BEWARE IF YOU ORDER FROM THIS PLACE ONLINE.... YOU PROBABLY WON’T GET YOUR ITEM, OR THE DECENCY OF A HEADS UP THAT IT ISN’T COMING!
Bought two vehicles from them this spring, entire purchase was done over the phone, sales department was great, took my vehicle in for service 8/12, according to the service department I took it in week early, so I was cooperative left my vehicle there for next Wednesday 8/19 and they would let me know if they get to it early, but told me it’s not likely it would be early. So fast forward week later, I called them Wednesday 8/19 they have not started working on it yet, they will call me when done. Did not receive a call until Thursday 8/20 so I called to follow up, they did not start working on it yet. Called Thursday evening, they apologized they will bump me to the next vehicle they are working on, I asked if I should come pick it up in the morning (Friday 8/21) I was told better not they will call when done. Now it’s Saturday week and a half later I just called I was told they have not started working on it yet and that a service takes couple weeks. We are talking about first oil change on a vehicle. I will not EVER come to this place again, and I will tell everybody (and their mother) about considering buying and servicing their rec vehicle elsewhere, as this place does not appreciate a customer who purchased two brand new vehicles at the same time from them.Update:After talking to the general manager and the owner, I was told that my service was done yesterday, but that person I spoke with at the service area was new, and still not fully able to use the system and find the information. I picked up my vehicle today, I was given $50 discount on this service and offered discount for the future service done at their location. I am raising my rating due to management and owner being involved in this particular case and attempting to make it right.
27 bucks to get a tire mounted is just crazy I wish I could go any where else but there the only place that mounts kid atv tires I gave them a one star 5 day later after speaking with the costumer service I felt better about the this we had a long talk and he was very passionate about make this right its good to see that they will go the extra steps to make sure that customers are happy and thats a big thing he gave me the discount price as if I purchased the tire from the store which I didnt and in the end the tire were mount correctly and the same day and that is something that I over looked when right my frist review I feel that they have made everything right and i m extremely happy about this

Ordered parts on a tuesday morning, the salesman said they should be in friday. They werent. Called the next back tuesday, some of the parts came in and the rest were not available. they didnt know parts were discontinued when ordering? got time to work on my atv today and got wrong parts anyway. Buy your parts on the internet, its faster and more reliable.

Great prices; HOWEVER, shipping is a NIGHTMARE.Our package was shipped 4 days after the label was created. We patiently waited. Then, we found out the box was so crushed/torn open that another package had fell inside. We were lucky that none of our contents fell out. Lastly, postage was due ($86 that is allegedly going to be reimbursed to us), and we had to drive to pick it up in the end anyway.If you’re in the area, shop this store in-person.Don’t order online.***Update: dropped my rating to one star due to us NOT being reimbursed for extra shipping expenses.
I honestly don’t go anymore to this place. They have charge you 3%more if you pay in full with you credit card and this practice is 100% illegal. I have business for more than 10 year and I know some business use this method 100% illegal. Get away of this place 🤬
My experience with dutchess rec was great! I called on the phone and spoke to a very nice welcoming lady named Morgan who threw some ideas back and forth and helped me pick the right bike for me. I was transferred to their financial department and got approved the same day. Within 48 hours after my initial phone call I had a brand new bike in my truck with no stipulations. Staff was very friendly not rushed and very helpful. I will be bringing my business here from now on. Highly recommend!!

I just recently bought a motorcycle and I was not very happy. I asked the salesman about something I felt should have been replaced and his answer was it is a used bike. I have bought 5 motorcycles this one being # 6 and this is the first time I can say I was not happy I know we all are going threw some pretty screwed uptimes right now but when a customer is spending good money I just felt service was not up to par this time.Update I just recently went back to Dutchess recreational vehicles and I have to admit I left there a much happier person. I had a talk with one of the sales man and we came up with an agreement which I was happy with. Thank you.

I ordered a front bumper online from BRP, it shipped from Dutchess Rec, missing hardware. I called to get the missing hardware, they shipped the brackets but not the bolts. 10 calls later, several times were looking into it, and no call backs, still dont have the hardware to install the front bumper - I ordered the front bumper 2 months ago.

I just purchased a 2019 Cam Am Maverick 1000 with the assistances of Mike and Morgan. They were incredibly helpful and made the purchase quick and easy. Had to fix my Honda CBR 600 after my electronics stopped working, called them and asked them if they would be able to fix it. They said the next opening they had was 2 weeks from then, and I told them that since my car got totaled, the bike was my only form of transportation. They understood, and sent a guy to pick my bike up the very next morning. During the repair process they were very helpful, calling me regularly to update me and the bike was all fixed the same day, for a very reasonable price. Have not yet come across a motorcycle repair shop/dealer with service as great as what I got here. Will definitely be a returning customer in the future.

Dutchess dummies. I ordered parts for pickup. They said they would hold it for me under my name. I went to the store and they had no parts under my name. They claimed the no one called and requested any parts. I called after leaving to make sure I had the right place and then they tell me they have it.

Placed order online on June 15th, paid June 15th, stated 5 to 7 days to receive parts, June 16th at 1:53am USPS said pre shipment and tracking never updated being parts never shipped. called dealership June 18th spoke with Ken in parts was very rude, but said Id receive my parts by June 24th which never came. spoke with brp and with USPS and were told parts never shipped, dealer took over two weeks to issue refund and claim USPS was running behind (when i live 3 hours away) but Id recieve a refund same day I called but still took two weeks, very unsatisfactory, and Ken was very rude, never will order from again....... never got refund till July 2nd picture shows the date and refund, July 9th and USPS still doesnt show lost attached picture with time stamp and tracking

I have been to dozens of power sports dealers in my lifetime and I must say this place is the most overpriced dealer with the least helpful staff of any place I have ever been to. I had a 100 hour service done here on a can an atv and they were $150 more then I paid a different dealer for the same service on another machine that was the same model.All the machines and accessories are at full retail or more they do not discount. Buyer beware
I recently ordered a part from Can Am and this was the dealership that was shipping the order. The order was placed May 29th and billed on June 1st. A month later and I still havent received the order! Ive called 4 times asking about the order and keep being spun some story about shipping being affected, but not that the order is out of stock? Bad place to do business with, Im glad I didnt purchase my vehicle from them!

I bought my 2016 Yam Grizzly at a Dealer near Hartford, CT. They repeatedly refused to honor the factory sanctioned service for the smoking engine problem, which Yam admitted was due to poor machining of the block. Finally I came to Dutchess RV to see if they could help me out. I knew I was in good hands immediately. Even over the phone they encouraged me to let them evaluate it. I brought it over and Jared (Service Manager) met me at the dock. We started the Grizzly up and we all laughed at the smoke pouring from the exhaust pipe at idle! Really, it looked like we were burning leaves. They fixed that thing up 100%, no hassles and submitted the bill to Yamaha. They TOOK CARE OF ME, when my own Dealer ignored me. This is not to bash Yamaha -I love their products normally, but this model had some issues. Yamaha stood by their product and Dutchess RV stood by me. Jared and Matt (Asst. Service Manager) took such great care of me, I purchased a new ATV from them. I used to be a guy who felt sales price was paramount; now I know what it could have cost me to buy from a Dealer that had a lousy service center and no gumption to protect me. I got a fantastic price on a new ATV and I know Jared will do the work right -if it calls for it. One of their mechanics has been in that Dealership for over 30 years. I have to recommend these guys. Jared told me he was going to set things straight for his customers, as that had not always been the case with that Dealership; he certainly did with me. I recommend you give him a chance. 5 STARS!!!

I cant second the negative reviews the service department got here. Labor rate is high, but apart from that I am happy with the work they did. No indication that they were trying to find things to fix as others have suggested.
I recently bought a gently used quad from here. When we got it home we noticed it had some gear issues. Called the next day and the staff was very willing to fix the issue at no cost. When we finally dropped it off everyone was very helpful and friendly. They got the job done the same day and didnt mind holding it for two days until I could pick it up with no storage fee. Everything was fixed at no cost to us!
