I had searched so many dealerships. After numerous attempts and disappointments, One Saturday afternoon I decided to drop in after seeing a Beautiful car that caught my eye on 3rd party websites and also from the John Kennedy website itself. I am so glad that I was patient and also was able to weed out the people who did everything from change the price to out right lie about things or was not so nice at Other dealerships. Dealing with Brad and Tom at John Kennedy in Pottstown, PA, was a pure delight. I highly recommend starting your auto search there for satisfaction. I have been dealing with the salesman Mark Mingle for 9 years. I have lead 3 Mazdas from him. Hes excellent, and very helpful. Today I purchased my lease and dealt with Rob McCoy in Mazda financing. I called this morning because my boyfriend was interested in a car and spoke to Mark. I told him we would be coming from over and hour away to come look at it, he said no problem it’s still available and he’d make sure it would be there. Well I show up and he said “you’re not going to believe this someone just bought the car, I pulled it on the side so you could look at it but my coworker had someone who wanted to see it” I was in tears because JUST OUR LUCK I was beyond mad and upset. He said “first come first serve” I mean I was technically first because I called right when they opened this morning at 9:10 and asked if it was available & told him we were coming to see it? When you walk in the have a tv screen with customers names, appointment times, and the car they’re interested in looking at. So I technically made an appointment to see it but that didn’t “count”. He said he “couldn’t find my number to call me back and let me know.” Yes we showed up a few minutes late due to having to get gas etc but the couple had to have been there for a while if they were just about to leave with the car. After he knew we were coming from 1hr & 15 minutes away!!! He said they have the same car just a different color but my boyfriend wanted that specific color. I had actually found the color car we wanted at a different dealership but read the reviews for this place and thought this would be a good place to give our business to. Guess I was wrong... so we ended up going somewhere else. Maybe they should get gas cards to give out to customers like myself for wasting our time with fake promises. Mark was a nice person to talk to but overall I do not think that the experience was professional in terms of standards.

Best experience to date. After a long week of hell with other large unprofessional dealerships, going to John Kennedy was heaven sent! We couldnt be more appreciative for the service we received. Nick and his entire team were awesome! They made this buying experience quick, smooth and so easy it felt unrealistic. If we could give this team a million stars we would! Ive been taking my truck here for years now. Jim in the service department is exceptional, and goes above and beyond for customers. Brought my truck in recently for service and it needed extensive repairs. We were days away from a family trip that would have been impacted if my truck was still in the shop. Jim overnighted the parts, moved some things around, and got me on the schedule asap, and then delivered. Couldnt have been happier it all worked out. This is the type of experience that will keep me coming back.

I went to buy a car in Good Faith. The car runs nice, but the Engine Light is ON. They also owe me a spare Key, has been promised since purchasing. (May) I can’t get a response from my Salesman (Nick Kern) nor the Sales Manager (John Armstrong). I can Not and will Not recommend this Dealership!

This dealership is by far one of the worst dealerships Ive ever encountered. I went to look at a car there in Feb 2021. I liked the car and was told that everything was fine with the car and that the car was in good condition. I purchased the car March 17, 2021. Today is now May 9, 2021. I havent even had the car 2 full months yet & have had nothing but problems with the car. First issue, there was a scratch on the car and I was told that paint would be ordered to fix that issue. I had to call several times because of course they didnt order the paint like they said they did. I didnt receive the paint until April 20, 2021 which is over a month after I purchased the car. I then started having problems with the car starting. The car is a push to start. I called to inform them of this issue & I was told that there was nothing that can be done because the car is not from Ford. Which makes no sense to me because I purchased the car from them so they should be the ones to fix any issues. Today 5/9/2021 the car wont start at all. I havent even had the car a full 2 months. If I could leave 0 stars I would. If you prefer a dealership that actually cares about their customers do not shop at this dealership!

We just bought a car here from Rick and we had a wonderful experience. He was a good listener as to what we wanted and didn’t want, he brought in vehicles from other dealerships for us to try, and they found lots of discounts for us. They offered to help us figure out all the gadgets before and after we purchased the car. We use their service department and they employees there have always been helpful and super informative. Our experience with the service department at John Kennedy has been great. Jon was especially interactive and helpful as we had financial issues with funding from our insurance company. He was persistent with the insurance company about fairly compensating us for the damage to our vehicle. He was highly communicative with us so we knew the status of the work on our vehicle and the situation with the insurance folks. His team members, Jim and Chuck were also helpful in the process.We ALWAYS use John Kennedy for our regular service on our vehicle. Thanks to all of you for your help on this recent repair!!!

Update on truck I purchased. Took the truck to be looked over by my garage I deal with and find out they passed inspection when it should of failed with the major issue found in which myself or someone could of gotten seriously injured. Now I own a truck I cant even drive right now..Still waiting on a reply back from the manager. This problem needs to be fixed ASAP

I bought my car from John Kennedy in September and it was used and unfortunately had a problem. The service team at Ford service has been nothing but helpful in correcting the problem with my car and keeping me updated multiple times a day. Specifically two men who I dealt with were Jim and Brendan. Brendan helped me the day my car went in and was nothing short of helpful and courteous. Jim contacted me as well and Was kind and reassured me he was on my side helping to get the problem fixed and diagnosed and got his team right on it. I also spoke to a gentleman today while calling in named Jon in service who was helpful as well and very nice! This was a five star job at the least!

Ive been doing business with John Kennedy Ford since 2014. As we all know, its the service after the sale that matters. Ive NEVER been disappointed. Recently, my service rep, Jonathan Taylor once again came through. I invested in a 3rd party Ford Warranty contract. MY car had a leak in a part that would have cost me more than $900 + labor. Initially the warranty company said they would pay $175 only leaving me a huge bill. Jon went above and beyond. I ended up only paying a $100 deductible. Jon is awesome. Id start any customer service organization with Jon and people like him! John Kennedy Ford is GREAT! 5 STARS!!

Started off good experience then ran into several issues.Good part and grateful for:They were first people to finally diagnostic that I had a bad transmission. They worked with me on getting a rental and covered what insurance didnt pay them. And that Im seriously grateful for.Now BAD partFinally get transmission in and they calll and tell me engine light is on for o2 sensory. They quote me 375 and I take it somewhere cheaper to be done. Mechanic at other places shows me it was bent and said it was done when putting transmission in. Also showed couple other mechanic the part ant they conform putting in transmission work caused the bend. Then fri a week of driving the truck it wont start. Call AAA out and he says starter and ground wire was loose. The starter is connected to transmission He temporarily fixes it but needed to take it to get truly fixxed. Sat morning bring the part of 02 in and tell the dealership about the loose parts. They tell me they didnt do anything to 02 that it was miles that make the thick metal bend. Also if you google it says stainless metal on o2 sensory cant just bend from miles. The starter they tell me that I just need a new one without looking at the old one. They (service manager Brandon) throws that they covered part of rental in my face. I confirmed with several mechanics with both these issues and they all point to dealership. I would also like to inform the starter was able to be unscrewed by bare fingers just to show how loose it was. They even agrued with one of my mechanics when called. I refused to even talk to the service manager at this point for everything he said today.So yes Im grateful for helping me replace my transmission and helping me through insurance process and use of rental. But dealing with after affects and dishing out more money to fix issues they caused and wont even man up to it really pisses me off. So if you go prepare for a possible mess they wont fuss up too.

Take your car or truck here for service.Their customer service is bar none, and their mechanics are wonderful. I have had a great experience with this particular Kennedy dealership.My family have all purchased vehicles from here aswell, since I was a kid.I took my truck to another specific Ford kennedy nearby for repairs - however they were not as prompt in discussing with you the issues with your vehicle, or would down right ignore my calls, without return for at most 2 days. It seems reasonable to some, but to those that appreciate good customer service, and prompt responses, then go here to the Pottstown john kennedy Ford. Great people, great mechanics, great service.

I waited over a month before posting a review. I gave them every opportunity to help fix my problem but they simply do not care in my opinion. I bought a new truck for over $50,000. They told me I could pick it up the next day because it had to get detailed. Not sure what exactly they did because when I picked it up it has stickers and sticker resin still and the hub caps where on the back seat! Then the finance guy handed me my license plate to put on myself. I then had problems with my reading body which took 4 phone calls over 4 days to resolve. Actually still now having same issue. I spoke to my sales person He told me to bring it back to have the hub caps put on and properly detailed. When I came to pick it up they could not find my jets and I was there over half an hour! .....now comes the best part. They messed up my address when submitting to ford credit. Now I do not get bills. I called John Kennedy ford as well as Ford credit many many times and now 45 days later I still can have no bills and can not set up automatic payments. I even talked to one of the managers twice. I refuse to keep calling asking to pay my bill. They will not even give me a payments address. I like the truck minus the reading body issue, but too me they make it very clear that they do not care about their customers at all once they make a sale.After more than 45 days the general manager reached out and within a day fixed the payment issue. He then offered a service credit. I do not think this hole thing equates to avg service so I can not go to three stars bit he did earn one star back in my review.

Today was a Great Day. My wife and I drove from DE to John Kennedy Ford in Pottstown to look at and possibly purchase a used pick-up truck. Joesph Lutz one of the sales consultants waited on us. His professionalism, experience and care for our best needs is why we were able to drive off the property with the truck we liked, at the cost we desired. Joseph was patient and resourceful as we asked many questions and shared info about our family life. I cannot say enough about John Kennedy Ford of Pottstowns Service center for their integrity and accountability.A week ago I experienced a mechanical malfunction on my F150 while driving. Luckily there was no incident, nor any injuries. This was due to a shop error from previous work being done a month prior. I made sure to call and address this issue with the service center immediately.To say they may good on their end would be an understatement. I was located 4 hours away and out of state. The Service manager himself made it a point to do everything he could to make it right. He drove 4 hours to my remote location and made the repairs on the spot.After returning home at the end of the weekend, I was asked to bring my truck for a follow up QA/QC of the remaining mechanics on my truck to make sure everything else was in order. I was additionally given a complimentary rental car for the 2 days while they looked everything over.Overall the problem was fixed and the service department went above and beyond to make the situation right and make sure I was comfortable with them going forward.Much praise and appreciation Brenden Belge and his staff at John Kennedy Ford of Pottstown.

I bought my Nissan from John Kennedy 1 year ago. Recently took it in for service and inspection. Honestly, I was not real impressed with the service department at that visit / however, yesterday my car was making an awful squealing noise - I called and spoke to Jon. At first we just scheduled an appt for Friday to drop my car off so they could look at it. I expressed my concern of the safety of my car as I had to take my 91 year old mother on errands the next day. Jon then told me to come right up! Within an hour, Jon had someone look at and fix my car. Jon is awesome! Thank you sooooo much! If I can deal with Jon every time I have to have service on my car - I will be one happy customer!

Getting the truck the are awesome to deal with. Service however is awful. Waited two and half hours today for a oil change only to find out they put my paperwork at the bottom of the pile. Sometimes things happen but every time of gone there I have a appointment for a oil change and it takes a minimum of at least two hours.Went back the next day and was taken care of right away. The service manager went out of his way to come see me and talk to me. That says a lot about a company and the manager who runs the service department. Turned into a great experience.

I purchased a “CPO” 2014 Ford Expedition from another dealer over the summer. In 3 months there were 2 minor issues with the vehicle and last straw was a major transmission problem. Losing confidence in the vehicle, I took it back where I bought it to ask them if they would trade in for what I paid for a new car. They came back and offered $4500 LESS. So, I took the car to John Kennedy Ford in Pottstown who offered me $1500 MORE, even though the vehicle was towed in and undriveable. I purchased a 2016 Ford Expedition Limited, which was exactly what I wanted. The sales team was great and this was the quickest, smoothest vehicle purchase I have ever made, even on Black Friday! There are a lot of Ford choices in our area, choose John Kennedy!

Took my truck due to a hesitation. After paying the fee to just look at it I was than told they listened to the motor with a stethoscope and the top end of the motor had to be removed to determine the problem for another cost just shy of 500$. I decided to get a second opinion and paid the service fee.Turns out the previous garage did not gap the spark plugs properly. A quick and cheap fix.I will never go to this dealership again.Run!

We absolutely trust and feel comfortable working with this dealership. We ordered a new F350 2020 from John Kennedy Ford of Pottstown. Even with Covid delays, we were kept well informed by the staff at JKF. Matt Armstrong was a pleasure to work with throughout the process from ordering to receiving the truck. He runs a first class operation full of great people.I have also used them for the servicing of my F150 and Chevy Equinox. They have done a great job every time that I have had service done. My F150 had the wiring harness eaten by mice due to the lack of use during Covid. JKFs service station promptly repair the issue and kept me informed as they did so. They charged fair pricing for the service performed and parts needed. I would definitely recommend friends and family to go there for either service or making a purchase.

Bought used Nissan van. Quick and easy. Needed 2nd key, salesman says oh! Ok, Ill get it for you next week. Confirmed directly with sales manager that they would get the key and they would do the wheel alignment. Went home with the van. For 2 weeks, one excuse after another from the sales MANAGER and the sales man. I should have insisted in writing. Now they act as if they dont remember, I have to look into this and call you back. Told friends how dumb I was to expect honesty. They smiled, one had worse lying experience with sales folks. I hope this helps.

Great experience working with Mark. Picked up a new Ford Explorer a couple of weeks ago and very happy with the everyone at John Kennedy. Very thorough and never at any point did I feel pressured to purchase something I would regret later. My wife loves her new car. I recently leased a 2020 Mazda CX-5. I have been coming to John Kennedy Mazda since 2012 for my vehicles. This is my 3rd CX-5. I had an excellent experience with Jacob Wagner. He was responsive to my emails. We did the majority of the process over email and by phone calls. He was patient and let me take my time in deciding if I wanted a different car or a CX-5 again. I highly recommend working with Jacob if you are looking for your next car. The process is always easy and no pressure at this dealership.

These guys are crooks. Do not buy a car from this dealership. When I purchased the (used) car the dealer said verbally that if I encountered any problems within 3 months I should bring it in and they would help me out. I was given no paperwork on this point. I was assured that the car was Ford Certified, meaning (according to the dealer) that it had been thoroughly inspected and any problems taken care of. However, I started to suspect that the car had brake and transmission problems. I re-confirmed the 3 month limit with the dealer over the phone. However, when I brought the car in to the dealership a little after two months, I was told that the warranty was in actuality 3 months or 3,000 miles, which I had exceeded. The brake rotors and pads needed replacement, as did the transmission, which means they did not actually inspect or fix much on the car at all. They then refused to help me with repairs to the transmission. Never was I told, either verbally or in writing, that there was a 3,000 mile limit. Buyer, beware.

The dealership is clean and well maintained.Sales agents not pushy, which is a good thing.I used to buy parts from here for an older Ford model. The parts unit was good at checking the items and getting them ordered.This location has both the sales unit and the service area. Which is good as buying your vehicle from here will mean you can service as well at the same location.The location is large and have ample parking.The other day I went there to inquire about a new model. The experience was good. Not pushy and i got all the information I needed for an informed decision.I will buy from here without any hesitation.

We had Jason Evans as our salesman. It was the best car buying experience we have ever had. We did not feel pressured at all to buy. The whole process was explained to us and we never felt like we were left in the dark. During the down times of waiting for paperwork to go through he gave us a tour and showed us around the service area. They were constantly asking if we were comfortable or needed anything while waiting. When we had to clean out the old car he made sure we had boxes and bags to get everything we needed out of the old car. When the new car came around he set everything up for us and made sure we were comfortable in our car before we left the lot. We are so happy we got our car from John Ford Kennedy in Pottstown! This dealership by far exceeded all our expectations on every level. We felt beat up by the car buying experience until we came here. John Armstrong was our salesmen and he was super helpful, fair, friendly, and even stayed past closing twice just for us. The car we purchased was a fair price, listed at market value, and super clean. They got us a rate almost 4% under what we had anticipated paying and didnt pressure us into all the extras that dealerships offer, if we didnt want it, no big deal. In the end we got the car we wanted, with believe it or not zero haggling, for the exact monthly payments we needed. Cant really ask for anything more from a dealership. Service manager was great. Purchased a 2013 Ford Fusion 5 years ago. Had nothing but problems recalls, catalytic converter went 3 times, mother board in key fob went almost a year ago, had Michelin Tires on car from factory. Had to replace with less than 32,000 miles and wouldnt honor warranty, had car serviced there, engine went at 50,000 miles and Ford nor dealer would cover anything. Will never purchase a vehicle from here or any Ford ever again.

Second time getting a car but first time going to a dealership so this was new to me and obviously I didnt ask many question but when I went in everyone was polite and helpful and answered all the questions I had. I ended up getting a 2105 ford fusion which was to say overly priced. I got the car and noticed that it had bad rusted back brakes and rotors so I went back to the dealership and they didnt want to fix an issue even when it shouldve been fixed before it was sold. Now four days later I cant start my car because of a dead battery (no lights were left on and all doors were closed), had to make a call to AAA because the battery was dead. I would not recommend this Ford dealership to anyone buying cars because they overprice the cars and wont fix it up before they give it to you. Worst part is the car isnt even sold as is.

I recently purchased a used 2015 Mazda 6 from this dealership. Last year we leased a car for my wife and had a good experience with this dealership. My buying experience was very Pleasant. I was helped by sales person Kaj. Enjoyed working with him. He is very patient and helpful and explained everything about the car since this is my 1st Mazda. There were a couple of minor things that need some attention and the dealership took care of that right away. Also enjoyed working with the sales manager. Purchased a used car. They were very open to having it looked over by our mechanic before we purchased it. The facility is beautiful! During my families experience we found all of those we spoke with to be warm, friendly and professional....no pressure. I appreciated the conversations.
