Looked everywhere for just the right blinds. Other Home Depots had them, but couldnβt get them quickly as they were stacked up high. My sump pump backup battery just died, and of course Hurricane Ida was coming through. I wanted to be sure to have a battery before they were out of stock, so I ordered it online for pickup with the idea that my son could then pick it up when he got home at 2:30. I ordered it at 1:30 with them to text me when the battery was ready for pickup. At 2:35 they still had not text me so I called to ask about it. I told them I wanted the battery before it really started raining hard, which it already started to do. The woman on the phone said it would probably be ready in another hour. I told her that every time I am at Home Depot theres worker just standing around. How is it not one of those workers could walk back and simply pick up a battery thats on the shelf for two hours from the order time???? I reminded her that I wanted the battery before the heavy rains and she said maybe I could come in and get the battery off the shelf myself. What in the world???? What is the point of having pickup if they cant fill a simple order in a timely fashion????
They need to get better organized. Tired of hassle. Probably not going to return.
The Depot went above and beyond on customer service which is rare these days. I had a delivery problem (blind curve, 100 driveway) that was taken care of in a fast and courteous manner. Kelly at the front information return area was the best. The guys were great putting on my snowblower on a truck. Thank you for more thanI I expected.

New to PA, I have NEVER had such impressive customer service at a Home Depot before. Terrence spent nearly 30 minutes with my wife and I as we shopped for a washer and dryer. Knowledgeable, he was able to explain the different engines, the reason for many features, and even the price differences between colors. He was even able to discuss the NBA of the 80s as we checked out. Well certainly be back.

Found what we were looking for with no problem since the website tells you the location. Asked an employee to open the box because it had slight damage so we could be sure the item was not damaged. He opened the box and then revealed it after we checked the item. Item had a good price.

Needed a thousand the stock personnel scanned the tag says then had two aga searched until they came up with the last one in the store for me. They were very helpful and very polite
Went to get wallpaper and ask for assistance. The guy told us they didnt sell wallpaper just the glue and order it online and walked away. Really! Clearly it showed online available in store. We ended up finding a section of wallpaper. This is why I never ask for help.

Asked for help in the power tools area and the person said they didnβt work in the area. Thatβs fine I asked them if they could call somebody to help and they asked me if I could look in another aisle. I needed a power tool so I said no I need help here and asked again if they could call somebody and they actually told me no. Said they wouldnβt be doing that and to find somebody else. Not hospitable or friendly at all. Donβt recommend. Iβd rate them a 0/5 stars if I could

Bought a refrigerator and was told it was available. Delivery was set up. Took the day off, waited all day for my delivery. No show! Called the store and was told that it wasnt being delivered for another two weeks. No one called me to tell me that. I had to call them. So not only did I loose a days pay waiting for them. I was LIED to, and didnt even get a courtesy call to tell me that it wasnt coming.So they will lie to you to make the sale. Cancled the order, and went down the block to Lowes. DONT BUY FROM LIARS.
I was told they had plenty of wood pellets, when I got to the store they had none, I figured they were out of stock, come to find out they were discontinued, went to Lowes and they had plenty.

While going out someone from the store stoped me and asked me to show the bill as if I was shoplifting.. when I asked the store person do u ask everyone for the bill she replied noβ¦ β I felt really bad because I felt I was Racially profiled β . Yesterday, I called around to several stores looking for a specific mulch (probably sounds odd, but itβs for livestock so it needed to be a certain kind). First, someone from the wrong department answered the call and scolded me (I said βgarden centerβ and was transferred to hardware), then said she couldnβt help me and hung up instead of getting me to someone who could help. I called back and was able to successfully reach the garden center. A very helpful older man checked inventory and told me that they had two pallets of the mulch. I needed 20 bags, so that was plenty.Today, I went to the store after work, at 5:40, to pick up the mulch. Parked in front of the garden center, and pushed the cumbersome flatbed cart in. Walked back to where the mulch is... looked around... none of the mulch in question. I asked the woman at the register about it, and she rudely snapped that she doesnβt work in that department and is closing the door in five minutes. So... apparently the garden center is scheduled to close at 5:48? Whatever. I asked the only other person out there about the mulch. She apologetically told me sheβs new and doesnβt know how to check. She hurried into the store to get someone who would know. In the meantime, mean cashier lady slams down the GC door. New girl comes back with unenthusiastic garden center employee who also doesnβt know about the mulch. Shows me where they keep mulch. Mulch not there. Finally, I spotted a pile of the mulch I was looking for in a different section of the garden center. Hallelujah! But wait... now the lone garden center employee has abandoned me and Iβm left to load 20 bags onto the cart. Not to worry, there were only 14 bags left and only 10 that werenβt ripped to shreds. Fine, I load up ten bags and struggled to push the worst cart on earth through to the complete opposite side of the store, through self checkout, then out and back through the entire parking lot, passing at least a half dozen employees who did not offer help, to where I had so intelligently and conveniently parked my car in front of the garden center before I knew it closes at 5:48 SHARP. What an ordeal for flipping mulch.Two stars because new girl was nice. Otherwise would have been one star.
I came in to buy a dishwasher and received no assistance so I left and bought it at Lowes.
I ordered online for pickup. Called the next day to see if order was ready since they hadnt called me. I was told yes your order is here and ready. When I went to.pick it up, 30 minute ride, I was told they canceled part of the order because they didnt have the part.???????Very poor!

I had to make keys. The associates were friendly told me directly where to go. Luckily it was right by the registers. It was super easy process and I was out in 10 minutes or less.

I was working with my boss at a site and we needed stuff for the job. so we went to homedepot. And Long story short, a older gentleman who was clearly an employee with a clipboard and a lanyard on around his neck well he apparently had a starring problem he was following my boss and i around while standing at the end of the isle on the end cap. I made it very clear I felt uncomfortable as he was awkwardly standing still and starring into our souls. he continued to stay there. I have a long history of working with ap employees in superstores seeing as Ive also worked in one for a long time... very unprofessional and very stalkerish I will be talking to corporate, staring in the same spot at the same end cap isle for about 10-15 minutes while we tried to figure out what wood we wanted. Which is considered harassment since I made it clear he made me feel uncomfprtable. very bad manners and not really friendly. 0/10

I tried to return a dehumidifier which was growing black mold in a location unable to be cleaned due to its design. Even though the unit was within the return window on the receipt, this store wouldnt accept the return. The employee called over whom I imagine was the manager to get a second opinion. The manager claimed the reason it couldnt be returned was because I cannot resell this unit in that condition referring to the mold. Im not sure if reselling returned used merchandise is common practice at this store but the home depot website claimed they accept all returns of you arent 100% satisfied. So much for that claim. He then told me to contact the manufacturer to have them issue a refund.I ended up calling the nearest home depot in downingtown and explained the situation. They had no problem honoring the return. Looks like I wont be a returning customer to the pottstown home depot anymore.
Only about 1/4 people wear masks and only half employees wear them properly. I used to shop here but will wait until they are more compliant or we have a vaccine. Itβs a shame itβs become so political; the virus doesnβt care who you are; it will kill you either way.

Lowes seems it is geared to the snooty homeowner while Home Depot is for the serious home do-it-yourselfers and contactors. Plus Home Depot stock is doing well. Buy some. Youll like it too!!

Cant believe they are charging $36.00 for a sheet of 7/16 osb. During these bad times with the pandemic, Americans and businesses should be coming together to help people, not rob them.
The curbside pickup takes ridiculously long. Itβs too inefficient and unprofessional. A 1/2 hour or longer to wait for a basic order is absurd.
This store has given me the worst experience I have had. I placed a large order for some of it to be delivered and some to be picked up. I came on a Friday and said I will split the pick up because it is too much weight for my truck. I picked up the 37 bags of 80lb cement first but said I wanted to split the skid up between to truck beds that were parked next to each other but the forklift driver just put the entire skid in the back of one truck instead of let me take some off first to put in the other truck. We quickly moved the cement to the other bed hopefully before it ruined my suspension!!!To top that off she dented my wheel well of my brand new 2020 Truck as she pushed the skid in with her forklift! I went back to complain about the damage to Adam who was nice and is reporting to insurance to take care of it.Now I am back on Saturday to pick up the 60 Cinder blocks and I went to customer service let them know I was there to pick up the rest of the order and the lady said ok and told me to stand in front of customer service to wait for my order and I questioned her saying you sure I am not to go down by loading with my trailer for them to bring it out and she said yes. I waited there 20 mins and no order. I asked again are they bringing up my order and she said she will give them a call. 10 mins later someone came up and said it will be a bit because they still have to pick it.I told them hat was a shocker to me because when I came Friday to pick up part of my order they said everything was ready for pick up. I waited for another 20 mins and someone finally came up to me from loading and said my order was ready. I will say the 2 loaders were extremely apologetic for the wait and helped me load everything on my trailer.After waiting an hour to pick up my order that I know was ready the day before I cancelled my second order for Cinder block and went to Lowes to get it. Side note I payed and was loaded in under 30 mins there with out ordering ahead of time online like I did with Home Depot.Between the damage done to my truck and the hour wait time the next day, I think it is time I start going to Lowes more.
This is a mixed review. First thank you for all youβre doing during this crazy time and so glad youβre open But please do something to make the curbside pick easier. Waited in line and sat for 45 minutes. This area needs an overhaul. Would have been easier to take my chances and just go in.

Have now been on hold for over 1 hour. Have had 3 people answer and ask me if I could please hold. Immediately put on hold before I can answer. The second person was Ruthann. The other 2 who answered did not give their name. βCan you please hold?β And then immediately placed on hold. Up to 1 hr 4 minutes on hold now.UPDATE - finally got a person who did not put me on hold. She told me that they routinely answer the phone and automatically place on hold so they donβt have to listen to the phone ring. Wow!

I went for leaf bags, door alarms & leaf scoopers. The only thing they had was the leaf bags. They were reasonable priced at 5 for $2.37. The only alarms they had was an alarm for $10.00. There used to be a pack of 2 or 4 in the store, but there was none there today! I was so frustrated! I asked 2 different associates where the door alarms & both gave me 2 completely different spots in the store. Only 1 was correct! When I got there the selection was so slim I didnt get all of what I set out to get! This actually was a wasted trip! I was also able to get a leaf chute (made it so much easier to put the leaves in the bag) I was so happy with this invention π₯°. It surely made the leaf pickup so much easier!
Went yesterday to pick up an online order and use curbside pickup. Pull into a spot and call for pickup twice. no one answers the phone. So I wait inline for 30 minutes. only 2 customer service people handling orders. guy in front of me said he had to pick his own order. I show her my phone to see the order number and she grabs it out of my hand. Associates without masks. Customer without masks. Store manager needs to figure this out.

Unfortunately the management at this store and the 3rd party delivery company they use are both incompetent. I would recommend not having anything delivered by Home Depot ship from store ever. And I would also say take your money elsewhere if you can. The 2 managers I had to deal with today took almost 2 hours to resolve an issue that should have never happened if their delivery company would have done their job with damaged product.
