Worst Company Ever!!! Do Not Rent from these people they bother you the second a payment doesnt go threw and they will not take anything back!!! IF YOU WANT TO RENT ANYTHING GO TO AARONS!!
So after I rented for them for them 8 years ago and paid off my balance in full. I try to rent again just to hear that I still owe. The balance was PAID off in full to Joe. The sales manger name Johnson tells me to put my balance after I tell him numerous of time that it was paid in full. These people are real life idiots. I’m going to get to the bottom of this and I won’t stop until this shot is cleared up
The whole idea behind Rent-A-Center is nice, make lower payments for something you need instead of purchasing outright, but the total money you pay is absolutely ridiculous. The people here though are great and if I ever needed anything immediately that I couldnt afford to buy outright, or something I only needed short-term, I would definitely go to them!

We were with Rent-A-Center for 4 years. In that time frame we added so many different items to our account; ranging from TVs to video game consoles to furniture. The phone calls became borderline harassment...we were meticulous with making our payments on time and would always go in to pay them. No sooner did the day start (on the day of payment) were we getting 30 phone calls from Joe in a row asking if were going to be making a payment. While I understand they have a job to do calling the minute the day begins is a bit excessive. When I lost my mother to cancer in 2013 most of my time was spent in Philadelphia at Jefferson Hospital with her.... one of the days our payment was due I completely forgot and was in the city, they gave me a hard time about the fact that I wasnt coming into make a payment and needed to prioritize better!! Mind you -- we never missed a payment and were ALWAYS on time and these were extenuating circumstances.Fast forward to now and my doorbell rings. Its these 2 guys from Rent A Center -- we had just paid on Wednesday -- and they come to my house. They didnt tell me who they were and what they were there for and tried to intimidate me by towering over me and standing there arms folded. I was told that they were the new managers and that I had to get used to them. I was treated so poorly and went to Aarons today to get set up with new merchandise! After being with the same store for 4 years and then being treated like that makes me never want to step foot in there again. Again, I get people have a job to do. But that does NOT mean you have to be rude, disrespectful and downright nasty to a customer of 4 years. Not to mention unprofessional by not telling me your names and why youre there.When we went to Aarons today we were treated with nothing but the utmost respect and with complete and total professionalism. They paid attention to not only my husband and I but to our almost 3 year old son as well. We will be getting a few different items from the Pottstown Aarons store this upcoming Wednesday and we couldnt be happier.
These people are the rudest people Ive ever encountered. Im not even a customer but the office manager of a place of employment for a customer. They called our place of business to harass someone for payment. When asked to not call here again and to only call them on their personal number the employee agreed and then another called right back. He tried to lie and say he wasnt with Rent-A-Center and it wasnt a personal call. I tried calling the store manager and again, same guy answered and said they have 3 managers there right now and no one is the actual store manager. He told me he would call her anytime he wants and he wasnt going to listen to us not calling. He refused to give his name and was so disrespectful. I cant believe the type of people they hire and put as a manager. Im hoping he was lying because he should be fired for his behavior. Corporate was the next level I called. Im hoping the district manager will take care of this situation and act professional. Unbelievable !

They are great here and are very understanding but the phone calls get rediculious and border line harassing...the workers dont communicate so what one says and what another knows or does is completely different and then the fees change drastically.
