I bought an ice cream cake here and it was absolutely fantastic. It was my birthday and I’m glad Sprinkles had what I needed. The cake with added decorations was kind of expensive but totally worth it. Thank you so much for the honest communication and service.

I used to pass by this place when I lived in Potomac but never had the chance to visit. We happened to be in the area and stopped by for some soft serve. My wife has celiacs disease and the ladies were kind to check and confirm which flavors were actually gluten free, which I appreciated. She even changed her gloves to be on the safe side, which was great! Both had masks on, which was a plus. The froyo was great and we definitely all enjoyed it! If ever we’re in the area again, we will definitely stop by again! Thank you!

If you are around Potomac River for hiking, visiting family and friends or just in the Potomac area. You have to checkout this dessert shop. I been going to this place since when I was in High School with my friends. It was always our Friday night or after school hangout spot. The ice cream down here is always been amazing!!! You have many excellent flavors to choose from. The shop recently just remodel. It looks amazing but still have a lot of the old memories to me and my friends. Staffs here are always very friendly and have sense of humor. It always feel like a second home for everyone in the community.

Overpriced for commercial ice cream. Was disappointed that the majority of flavors were from Hersheys and not store made. 2 of the soft serve flavors were out of order. Baked goods looked old and stale. Staff very transactional.

Was there today and just found out they are switching their ice cream from Thomas Sweet to Hershey. I think this is a huge mistake. The only reason I drove to this store was for this ice cream. Im sure the margins are a lot greater selling Hershey but you can go to a grocery store and pay a lot less for average ice cream.

They had no parfes or banana spilt or regular waffle cones, had only 3 ice cream flavours, and took about 20 mins to make a milkshake. and they didn’t even give us whip cream and a cherry

I got 2 scoops of mint chocolate chip in a cup. It was really melted like a soft serve.

No masks worn by employees or customers, so no more business from me.

Took my kids there yesterday April 11th 2021 around 7:30 PM. The two young guys were unfriendly and had an attitude. If i were the owner of the business id replace them immediately.

I’ve been going here for over ten years. Wide range of ice cream options. They also have sorbet. The raspberry is delicious. I also do enjoy the rocky road. They sell bagels here too and cream cheese. Great breakfast spot. Small place they are limiting capacity which is good. I get a pint to go sometimes and my family loves it. Stop here on the way back from a hike on the canal! Parking is very convenient here

I really enjoy my trips to Sprinkles. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. I always get different things but highly recommend their blueberry donuts, coffee, and birthday cakes!

Four orders of ice cream. Three had ice in them. Servers looked bored and while not unfriendly did not go out of their way to be pleasant. Prices are high for poor quality ice cream. There are better choices if you seek ice cream.

The only thing better than the ice cream and other treats was the service. I had sprinkles of joy and happiness after my visit.

Ice cream was great however we drove 20+ min out of our way to come here for soft serve. We even called to verify. When we got there they only had regular ice cream and frozen yogurt which the young man behind the counter said tasted like the same thing as soft serve...ugh :(

Went over to cabin John for a fun park day and decided to have some ice cream. So happy we came to this spot because the ice cream was amazing. Had two scoop sundae with fudge and loved every bite of it. Will definitely be back next summer.

My wife found a long hair in her ice cream. Two stars because they agreed to refund our entire purchase. Also, the cookie dough ice cream had a lot of chocolate chips but few cookie dough chunks.

Lovely staff and creamy ice cream. I recommend the coffee heath and the cookies and cream. Yum!

We recently moved to the area and wanted to support a local icecream shop. We came across Sprinkles Potomac and I’m glad we did. The young ladies were very pleasant and patient. My three year old placed her own order and was happy with her strawberry icecream with sprinkles. I had the chance to speak with the other young lady. She recommended an icecream pie with graham crackers. Will return to give it a try.

One of my favorite places for ice cream. They have a ton of flavors available and service portions are good too. They also do have cupcakes, donuts, smoothies, etc. but I have not tried them yet.The folks working here are super friendly too!

This is a great place to get ice cream or any cold treat, the staff are nice and efficient. Yes sometimes theres a huge line but its worth the wait.

Just had the most terrible experience at sprinkles in potomac. We have been supporting this establishment for the past 10 years. I know recently it had acquired new ownership and had recently met one of the owners and her daughter and they were very nice and professional. Right now with the pandemic I hate to write a one star review however I just had the worst experience of my life. I walked into the establishment without a mask with my three children in tow. I left the store after the clerk told me she could not help me because I was unmasked. At that point there was just one other customer who was in front of me and nobody was behind me. The clerk advised me that I have to go outside call in my order and they will bring it out to me. So I Went outside and when outside attempted to call in my order And was told that they were very busy and I had to call back in 15 minutes. I was just in the store there was nobody else in the line behind me so I would have been the next customer. At this point I was totally ready to get up and go however my kids really wanted sprinkles. I Took a quick walk around the block to Rite Aid pharmacy bought a mask and went right back into sprinkles. At that point the clerk apologized to me and said she didn’t realize that it was me that called And she felt bad. So we started to place the order and at this point I ordered four ice cream‘s and the owner had walked in as I was placing my order and the clerk told me to speak to the owner and not to write a negative review when I told her that that’s what I was going to do.The male owner that was there is not the same owner that I originally met months ago maybe that was his wife and daughter I’m not sure. He did not even acknowledge nor did he approach to see what was wrong. At this point my children are outside eating their ice cream and I’m trying to pay and run out there so they’re not alone. By the time I paid and went back outside my eight-year-old took two licks of his ice cream and the two scoops he had dropped to the floor. He was crying and I needed to go back and get more ice cream. The problem here is that I walked from my house to here with my children and I only brought $40 with me. I spent seven dollars on a mask and $30 for the original four ice cream’s. I only had three dollars left. The clerk told me that they are not in the business of giving free ice cream mind you the owner was still standing right there. I said I don’t care just give me what you can for three dollars. Sometimes you just have to be a human about situations. Especially during a pandemic when a local family is trying to support a local small business. Good luck... you will need it. Never would I have had this problem with the original owner. He was so sweet and knew you on a first name basis. Be human first. Thank you.

This place is a part of the bedrock of Potomac Village, its been here forever I think. Super premium icecream which makes for the best shakes, best and lowest price cup of coffee in the village, free refills. Bagels, cakes, donuts and what not. Very popular family spot on summer evenings. Local owned shop done right!

Ice cream was far too expensive for what it was and they don’t give an equal ratio of flavors. workers seem like they couldn’t care less about their jobs.

We have been going to Toms Sprinkles for over 25 years. All our family & friends (from as far away as Australia) have enjoyed their amazing icecream, fantastic service, & delightful atmosphere. They are an icon in Potomac Village.

The ice cream was good, but the service was terrible. I ordered a rocky road and cookie dough in a cone, I got a rocky road and chocolate chip in a bowl. Make sure to specify what you are ordering, and make sure they take the right ice cream from the right tub
