Cute little gemstone in downtown Portsmouth. Beautiful and unique decoration.They have the most amazing cooking ingredients you can imagine. The atmosphere is incredible the stuff is very knowledgeable the price is reasonable. I can’t tell you how much we enjoy using the unique salts in my kitchen. Spoil yourself with their body products. Very cool basement shop. Salts were fairly priced when combined to form the 3 pack specials. Lotions and other cosmetics were overpriced. Used their spiciest salt to prepare a steak, it was fantastic.

We were out enjoying the weather in downtown Portsmouth today and came across this little gem of a store. Beautifully designed store perfect for customers to take a lazy stroll through the many options for salt lamps, cooking salts, cookbooks, bath & body products and salt boards for cooking. We made a small purchase then decided to go back before leaving Portsmouth. Made another purchase and cant wait to try them at my next big Sunday .dinner.

$10 shipping charge on anything to anywhere... that is a good deal when you consider the weight of many of these salt products.It is in a lower level, the people working there are super helpful. There are many flavors of salt to try. Great on salads, seasoning for any dish. The cutting boards are my favorite. Bacteria cannot live on salt. Therefore, meat can be cut on a salt cutting board and it is immediately clean enough to cut anything else on it.The store great, the staff helpful, the products amazing.

I love this place. It is kinda hidden but always love seeing the decor. Love the ability to taste the salts. Just very calming.

Really interesting shop with lots of cool salt based products including salt lights and hand cream based on dead sea salt. Friendly staff with helpful advice.

Just happened upon this shop when we were in Portsmouth for dining. This shop has samples of many very naturally flavored salts. I purchase the Sriracha and Onion flavors for our daughters and the Black Truffle flavor for myself as stocking stuffers. I have used the Truffle Salt on eggs ... delicious! Homemade mac n cheese ... delicious! I have a tiny plastic spoon that I use to get some out of the small bottle. Each person can have their own individual flavored salt. Very cool/smart/flavorful! The woman who was tending the shop the night we were there was very friendly and allowing of my I dont know the heck what Im doing here and what the proper protocol is for sampling salt. :)

Lots of great different salts here for all kinds of different cooking. The staff here is also great for suggestions and questions should you need help.
