I had my office printers serviced at Portland Printer Place when I owned a business years ago and was always impressed with their customer service and expertise. Today my Canon inkjet printer had a major paper jam and I brought it in. Chris got it working again in short order and said the repair would be $20. I had assumed there would be a much higher minimum charge and offered to pay more, but he politely refused! An exceptional business that treats its customers with honesty and integrity.

Best Printer service! I called them today after hp support just mention to me that I need to purchase a new printer that will be $599.99 instead of helping me with the issue that I asked about.Luckly I called Portland Printer Place to ask about the issue with my printer M476nw showing me a message “memory is low, job is cancelled press ok” and it doesn’t print a single paper anymore. The person who responded was very helpful answered my questions with full explanation and inform me about if there is an issue with the board and what it will cost. He walked me through the steps that I should do to figure the exact issue of why this message appears via the phone call. After following exactly what he told me to do, my printer started to print normally with no issues at all!!

Ill do my best to be brief but they deserve a 5 absolutely.Im out of town doing a multimillion-dollar presentation in my projector crashed.... They got my back.I call these people showed up they gave me a loaner expressed the part the next day fix my projector and got me back on the road all for next to nothing.Chris is the man ....Darrel, the tech guy working on my projector took great care and in record time got me taken care of...the fan burned out. Boom, fixed!! And I just have to say Evelyn is truly a warm kind heart. She made me feel as if I was at home and they took great care of me.Thank you very much for being there in my time of need I will return.
I took a multifunction Xerox printer into this place, even though they were uncertain if they could fix it. Theyre the most awesome place I have dealt with in a really long time. Darrell looked the machine over and his troubleshooting skills took over. It was fixed in no time and really reasonable prices. Everyone was so friendly, thanks everyone.

I cant speak to the quality of their repairs, but the quality of their customer service is excellent. Even though I just called to get a quote on repairs for a fax machine, the man I spoke with talked me through the problem to help me figure out a diagnosis before I actually took it anywhere, just so I could better evaluate the cost of repairs. We decided just to buy a new fax, but if youre considering using their services, please do. Ive worked in IT for just a few years, but it was evident from our conversation that their staff provide courteous and competent assistance, even when they arent doing surgery on sick faxes and printers.

Ive done business with these nice folks for about 8 years now. They have a great service center and a solid selection of printers which they totally stand behind. Yes, you could get a toner cartridge a few bucks cheaper on line, but shopping small and local is the smart thing to do.

In this day and age, when we fear well be taken advantage of...Darrell proved there are still some Honest people alive! He could have told me anything and made me pay a kings ransom to fix my printer. Instead...he showed me how to clean a part, that resolved the problem! How great, honest, and respectable is that !!! We have an older Canon that was giving us problems. Called and worked with their tech Cezary. He was incredible. Stuck to his bid, was extremely patient as more issues came up and finished the job with our Canon up and running. After spending an inordinate amount of time on the Support website and phone line at Epson, I gave up and found The Printer Place via a google search. Epson had run me round in circles, emailing instructions from my submitted info on line, then telling me it was a hardware problem when I did more on line troubleshooting. On the telephone with the service Rep having to look each word up in her way too basic printer instruction sheet. I thought I was doomed to having to buy a new Printer/Scanner/Copier today. Then Eureka! I called Darrell at The Printer Place this morning. After I gave him a very short and simple synopsis of the problem, He said; Bring it in and Ill take a look at it. Did just that and in 5 minutes he had diagnosed, fixed, and lubed up my machine. Thank goodness it turned out only to be the fault of a secret, (to Me), paper jam door needing to be opened and pop out the piece of paper that got stuck. Darrell put some snazzy cleaner on it, carried it back out to my car, AND told me to put my money away!!! I will forever call These Guys to do any trouble shooting or maintenance work on my business equipment ;)
My workplace printer does some volume, and it needed some maintenance and new ink. For a busy biz owner, the one stop shop and customer service is a real time saver. I was prepared for the worse but Darrel solved my paper jamming issue in less than a minute. After printing a test sheet, he opened the paper tray and found the cause. His knowlege and experience zeroed in on the problem and made the fix.
