A very nice Mexican market that sells some fresh produce, bakery items, canned and dried goods, fresh made salsa and tortillas and a butcher counter. I particularly love the house-made Carnitas which are absolutely succulent. I have never made it home without opening the bag and enjoying some carnitas. Recommend!

The tamales are bomb. Nancy and her husband are super nice and accommodating, even offering to place a special bakery order just for me. I grew up in SW Portland and I’m new to the eastside, checking out where the best (in terms of quality, value, and variety) Mexican and Latino stores are located in this area of the city- glad I found this place!

I walked in and was met by Jose who was both friendly and helpful. He even treated me and my friend to a sample of traditional Moronga tacos. It was so delicious. We ended up buying fresh tamales, salsa, and several other locally sourced items. I cant wait to go back and try the restaurant and the homemade tortillas! This is a must if you love authentic recipes.

Helpful friendly couple who sell áll traditional Mexican foods; packaged mole, fresh Cotija, fresh cream cheese (like sour cream), fresh meat case, homemade tortillas (they make them on site) and tamales,, spices, hot sauces, fresh veggies and fruit, fresh bakery... Amazing array of authentic foods. And pinatas, including childrens characters and what I bought, a huge sparkly star. Great for parties. Many kinds of sodas, juices. No alcohol. Treat yourself to an authentic experience. Convenient location

Wow, not sure what happened, the other photos and reviews of this store look so nice. We went in today for tamale making supplies and were pretty disappointed. Most of the produce was very old and literally moldy, just piles of moldly mushy veggies and fruit. Purchased a bag of masa and when I got it home saw that it was filled with webs and squirming weevils. I hate to leave such a bad review but it was seriously a waste of time and money to take a trip out here.

Friendly owners, good selection of authentic Mexican ingredients. For example, 3 types of chocolate for Mexican hot chocolate, a dozen different dried chillies, deli with Mexican cheeses by the pound, vegetables like tomatillos and chayote squash. Prices are reasonable to low, especially for being so close-in. Fresh baked bread (get it in the morning when its fresh) and cheap corn tortillas, homemade salsas that are delicious. Lots of candy.
