If you love maps youve found your new favorite place. I could spend an unlimited amount of time here and they people are so nice. A great stop for history lovers. And they even have a cat♡ who was as awesome as the maps.

Fantastic shop full of almost any kind of map you could imagine. Definitely worth the stop to see what they have. Enjoyed the gallery guide too.

With perhaps the largest collection of historic maps in the Northeast, Mainely Frames and Gallery is a must visit place for historians, collectors, and antiquarians. The maps date back decades to hundreds of years and are well cared for and provided in sturdy and clear frames.

AWESOME! Go to the basement to visit the friendly Maine Coon. So much to look out - there is way more than maps to look at. The older gentlemen who I believe is the owner was so nice and welcoming and had great stories to tell about his artwork that he is selling.

What a great Shop and Gallery... they do a no.#1 job on framing, and have lots of Art work, maps, and lets not forget Buddy the Gallery Cat, and too much to mention...

The store is packed with interesting, original, antique maps. The owner is really helpful and there’s a cat who seems trustworthy. I’m definitely going back when I’m back in Portland.

There is a beautiful cat here who is so sweet! Also the maps and art are absolutely amazing, especially in the basement area.

The young man who helped me was a joy but the older woman was rude and very uninviting. If it wasnt for the young man I would have taken my business elsewhere.
