I took a simple hydro-line cylinder to have rebuilt in no hurry. A week later, I was called and my bill was $625! and this is a small 2 bore, 7 stroke cylinder. The rebuilder said the cylinder interior was rusty and needed a re-chrome if it started to leak. I installed it and it leaked worse! I then used it because they wouldnt stand by their work and in less than a week, it leaks so bad, I need a catch pan under the cylinder. Today (about 4 months later) it finally decided to puke all over the place. I am removing it myself, cleaning it, and rebuilding it myself, saving another headache. After tearing apart, the cylinder wall is NOT rusty but really nicely clean with cylinder wall hash marks like a new engine. I will not be going to or referring this company for any new business.
