Store manager was super rude. He made the point of saying how much allocated bourbon he gets to takes home as a store manager that is never available to the public. He made the point of saying what I was purchasing was toilet water compared to what he has. Good way to get return customers!

I happened to come in the liquor store today. And over hear Patrick one of the cashiers speaking to a homeless gentlemen. Im not sure if the guy bought anything, but I do know he was treated with kindness and respect just like any other person encountered at our neighborhood liquor store. What was so cool is it wasnt because anyone was watching either. He and that homeless guy were the only ones i saw besides other employees in the store. It was because of really being a genuine loving person ....both of them.I am so pleased to have witnessed such acts of compassion first had. This has brightened my whole day! Great team of well knowledgeable staff, one of the best liquor stores in the city. Been coming here for years. Familiar faces for those moments you just wanna go, where everybody knows your name. And there always glad you came.

Super sketchy workers. Used the Oregon liquor search to see they received some allocated whiskey and showed up to get it and the worker accused me of buying it to sell on Craigslist. They sketchily grabbed mine from behind some boxes and told the person behind me they only had one when there were clearly more. I think they need to read up on Oregon liquor laws.

Ive shopped here for years although another liquor store is closer to where I live. A great selection for a small-ish store and by far the most friendly, helpful & knowledgeable staff in N/NE PDX. As another reviewer put it, its a neighborhood place where everyone knows your name. Pat, Branson (aka The Liquor Store Guy!), owner Doug and the rest are wonderful people who provide the best service in town and Im glad to know them. Highly recommended!

This place is standard. Google maps might send ya to the back parking it for another business so watch for that. Kenton is a cute neighborhood and I suggest checking out the other spots around if your brown bagging it or not.

Every time I try to go there, its a bad experience. Last visit I asked for some Aperol (which is admittedly hard to find right now). Shop owner (I assume) tells me they have none. I said your inventory says you have a few. Shop owner says they are for his bar accounts and cant sell me any. I say Ill guess Ill have to buy my alcohol elsewhere. He says good luck finding it anywhere else. Yeah, I had about 6 other bottles I needed to get but Im not going to buy anything from a place that wont sell me what they have in stock.Also, the layout is terrible. You literally have to ask for what you want and have them go get it - as everything is behind a counter. Makes it dang near impossible to simply look.

Honestly just went in and told the guy I don’t know much about liquor brands. He was super nice and told me what was on sale as well as what is good for shots vs mixers. Plan on going here again.

Aside from the dude harassing women outside the store, I had a good experience here. This is not a store that you shop yourself, its counterservice. Employees seemed knowledgeable and it looked very clean.

Prices are fairly common. Employees are kind. They hosted a local company to advertise the local made vodka for that company makes me want to continue to go to somebody who is supporting the local community.

I keep forgetting this place is here. They have a good selection of booze for every desire. But dont blink, it seems easy to miss for some odd reason. Weed shop and smoke shop next door-ish makes for a dangerous combo for all you with out of control vices in need of satisfying.

They dont let you look at the bottles yourself. They are behind the counter and you have to ask a store employee for each bottle that youd like to look at.
