We built a new home near Willard Beach in South Portland. The objective was to construct a very energy efficient home utilizing heat pumps powered by electricity from a 32 panel solar array. We wanted to achieve a net-zero house. Goggin designed the HVAC system and performed all aspects of the install. The same holds true for the solar component. We were and remain very pleased with the Goggin teams participation in our project, and highly recommend Goggin Energy to others seeking energy assistance.

In June 2015, our Heat Pump was installed. Multiple times since that time, the coolant needed to be added. As new Heat Pump users, we didnt realize that the coolant was leaking and this shouldnt have happened. Finally in 2019, a leak was found and repaired. However, the unit stopped working a few months later. The installation of this unit was improperly done and Goggin Energy is unwilling to admit their mistake or run new lines between the inside and outside units, without charging us a hefty fee. The unit is under warranty until 2027, but this doesnt cover the installation or lines.

Goggin Energy has been a great company to do business with! They just completed heat pump installation in our old (1907) house, which included a needed upgrade of our electric panel. Nothing is easy on an old house - but these guys were amazing and so pleasant to work with, literally every single person on the job. Big shout out to Ray who led installation and stayed until 6 on the Friday of a holiday weekend to make sure we were all set. Highly recommend!

I got My heat Pumps from Goggin and they were great! They worked with through the installation to help accommodate my Tenant so that there was no interruptions with his daily life. They have continued to help and assist me with getting my rebates and any issues with the Heat Pumps.

We had Goggin install a heat pump at our house. Everyone we dealt with at Goggin was professional and friendly. We are very pleased with the work that was done and the performance of the heat pump (Mitsubishi). We got a bid from another company named after a tree that was close to a $1k more for the exact same model heat pump. The only negative of the process was the heat pump was not installed during the initial time frame quoted due a host of COVID related delays. I would recommend Goggin without hesitation.

This company has a customer for life in me. They arent even the ones who installed my heat pump (I have no idea who did), and they have bent over backwards to help me with current issues. When I build my retirement home in a few years, I will have them install all the heat pumps!

After deciding to convert from oil-powered radiators to heat pumps, I reached out to Goggin. Their team was thorough, efficient and informative from start to finish, beginning with a walk through of our home to the submission of numerous options via proposals, and eventually installation.Annalise was a great resource for information, and when we ultimately pulled the trigger on the project, Ray and his team not only did a brilliant job of installation, but after realizing that we were effectively without heat during November, they sped up the planned timeline. They also somehow managed to run ahead of schedule despite a setback on our end, which was a happy surprise.There were some blips re: communication -- on both ends of the spectrum, in fairness -- but at no point did we feel like Goggins team was doing anything but a mindful job. One week after installation, our house is the warmest it has ever been during wintertime, and the heat pumps are near-silent as they do their work.While Goggin submits our Efficiency Maine rebate for us and closes the permit with our town, were happy with the choice we made. And in the event that we go solar, I know the company well be choosing to work with.

Buyer beware! Goggin installed a heat pump in my home summer 2016. They promised reliability and efficiency - I got neither. The product they installed was defective, breaking down every other day for 3 months. They were at a loss how to fix it and would not replace it. They finally got it running but now it costs more to run than my old oil furnace! Contract requires mediation to resolve dispute, which costs more than the heat pump condenser is worth. Take my advice and stay away from Goggin energy! Worst business experience of my life, and I have been a building contractor for 35 years.P.S. I see that my initial review struck a nerve with Goggin energy. Their petty blame-game does not change the facts, and if I can keep even one individual from the horrendous experience I had with this company, Ill have done my duty here. Heat pumps are the future when it comes to heating and cooling your home. Since my experience with Goggin, I have had a heat pump system installed (by a different company!) at another of my homes, and I couldnt be happier with it. Goggin installed a defective heat pump unit at my house, were unable to fix it for 2 months, and it now runs at high cost. I am going to have to replace it myself, at the cost of several thousand dollars. Buyer beware!
