My experience with Climate Control was great. The technician, Grant cleaned all the heating ducts in my home and the dryer vent system. He also performed a Heating system maintenance. I particularly loved that he found a ring that I really loved inside one of the vents, I was thrilled to have that back. He was very professional and thorough and explained the process to me very clearly. This is my third time using Climate Control and I will be a permanent customer of this company.

We had a lot of companies come out and do bids for our business. We are switching the office over to a ductless system. Climate Control was by far the best choice. Their pricing is competitive. When Climate Controls’ Comfort Advisor Marlena arrived at my house, I knew our situation had improved immensely. While the 5 HVAC contractors who came before her told me what I should do, she listened attentively to me explain what I wanted for my family; to replace a 16-year-old furnace and install air conditioning in a house that had never had it.Marlena thoroughly assessed the existing equipment and set-up, including the breaker box to determine what electrical work might be needed. She assessed the “load” to determine the right size of the new equipment. She didn’t simply assume that the existing furnace had been sized properly. She took time to explain what she was doing and why. Moreover, she answered my numerous questions.Once I received her proposal and compared it with the other companies’ proposals, I had more questions. She responded promptly or provided a timeline when she felt she could respond (almost always later that day).My biggest concern was the A/C installation. The fact that the A/C condenser would need to be installed near large windows and a door raised the noise issue. Marlena had a solution, a 56 decibel condenser that was reasonably priced.After reviewing 8 proposals and much discussion, I hired Climate Control, Inc. This was due in large measure to Marlena’s outstanding customer service and professionalism. We had a consult with Marlena Jarvis, who initially came to see us, (immediately after another technician had come out do do a routine maintenance call); her visit with us was unrelated to the maintenance call, and was regarding installation of an air conditioning unit. During this visit I was thoroughly impressed with her professional knowledge, genuine concern for our needs and lifestyle, and was exceptionally pleasant, friendly, and engaging. Dean arrived on time and once we explained what the issue with the AC unit was he went about checking the system. He was very professional, personable and answered all of our questions. He not only fixed the AC unit, he also checked our other AC unit as well as the heating units to make sure they were in good working order too. A+ Service!

We had the technician come out for our annual AC inspection. Weve had our AC unit for a while and like to keep it in tip top shape. I was pleased to hear after a thorough inspection, that everything was working well. Weve been using our AC system more this year than any other year in the past, and we were happy to have the good news from our reliable well trained techncian.

I purchased our HVAC system from Climate Control about a decade ago and I always use them for any repairs and my ongoing maintenance. During the recent heat wave (116F in the Pacific NW is no joke) my capacitor went out and the soonest a tech could come out was around 2 weeks out. Climate Control had the part I needed in stock and he waited after hours for me to drive down and pick it up so I could get my AC working again. That was greatly appreciated!

We had terrible stinky sock syndrome coming from our cooling coil. Chris arrived at 8 am sharp. He removed the coil, cleaned it, and suggested adding Reme-Halo -- an RGF air purification system -- to kill mold spores, other microbes and odors. Fantastic! We have never breathed cleaner air in our house. As someone with Asthma, allergy to mold and chemical sensitivities, I am ecstatic! Chris is smart, energetic and professional. We will request him again for our annual maintenance and any needed repairs.

The technician forgot to bring new filter to replace the old ones in the HVAC. The statement was...but the old ones still look good and well replace them when we check the Heating in winter.Update 7/16: Ignoring the fact that I do not understand how an HVAC technician doesn’t have a stack of HVAC filters in his vehicle, I decided to replace them myself with filters from Home Depot. When I opened the HVAC, it made sense why he reported that the filters still looked good...because they were not even installed properly. One of the two filters was leaning at the bottom of HVAC allowing unfiltered air to go through the HVAC. I contacted Climate Control twice before posting this update and have received no response at all. This is the first time I have used Climate Control and I do not plan on doing it again. If I hadn’t noticed this, we would have went through an entire summer of potential forest fire pollution destroying my HVAC and the inside of my home.Update 7/21: Climate Control refunded the maintenance charge

Weve been happy Climate Control customers since 2002 when they installed a new furnace (and in 2006 installed a new heat pump). We rarely suffer loss of heat or A/C, most issues are identified and resolved during semi-annual service under the maintenance contract. All the techs weve had have been professional, knowledgeable, neat, and willing to answer questions.This time we did lose our A/C -- probably because our maintenance service had to be deferred a month (because other customers were having outages during the heat dome). During our recent heat wave our HVAC system went out. Many folks were in the same boat, so getting companies to even respond to repair requests was problematic. Climate Control (Casey) was quick to respond, answered my questions, and scheduled me on the spot.Dennis, the technician, came out, looked at the system, and diagnosed the issue in an amazingly short period of time! All during the visit he was super helpful in educating me about the system and showing me what he was doing and why. Certainly put my mind at ease. While the cost of replacing the blown capacitor felt a bit high, it was certainly within the range that companies were charging to do that work. So, while I could have found a capacitor for less, and replaced it myself, it was worth it to me to have Dennis take care of it so that I knew the job was done, and done right.Dennis was very customer-focused, helpful, and professional. I would certainly recommend Dennis and Climate Control to anyone needing quality HVAC service.

They were unfortunately delayed to look at the AC because of the backlog of requests during the heatwave. Then they also needed to return later in the appointment day because they would need a large enough ladder in addition to another technician (for safety) to reach the external unit on the roof. But once they were on the roof, they figured out what was wrong within 20 minutes and resolved the issue.

My AC went out when we were experiencing very hot temperatures. I was worried because in a few days the forecast was calling for 100+ degree days. I called several different places and Climate Control was the only place that could come the next day. All other places were booking 6-10 days out. The technician came, was patient with my loud dogs, identified the issue and fixed it during the appointment. Climate Control did have the highest fee for coming out but it was well worth it to get my AC working ASAP.

Dennis was professional and knowledgeable about our Home Comfort Zone system. He quickly analyzed the problem and repaired the system, then took time to explain the settings and optimize them. I highly recommend Climate Control.

My parents used Climate Control for a furnace repair. They would not stop raving about Chris. They were in complete comfort after his visit. Our heat pump stopped working sometime during the day and when I got home from work the house temperature was around 85 degrees. Called several HVAC companies that claimed to have 24 hour emergency service but they did not. Called Climate Control and a technician called me back right away and tried to help me diagnose the problem over the phone. After that didn’t work he came out and had our air conditioning back up in running in no time. Paid a little more for the after hours service but worth it. Definitely would recommend to anyone needing help with their HVAC system.

Climate Control has been providing semi-annual service for close to 3 years now for me. They come out before each major season to perform maintenance and check things out. When they find an issue, they let me know and I can decide to do it myself or pay them to do it. The technicians are always prompt, professional, and efficient. I just signed up for the next year!

Everyone at Climate Control is amazing. While other companies had a 4 week wait they came out THE SAME DAY I called! Chris was amazing! He quickly and properly diagnosed the issue and came back to complete the repair after ordering a new part. Our furnace is over 20 years old and they new exactly what to do to save the day.

Climate Control installed our gas furnace and heat pump to replace a dying 50 year old gas furnace. They recommended and explained the benefits of the heat pump, which I was glad we bought since it provides AC as well as heat. We are a commercial biz. AC has worked great. Some guy came to change the filters. He couldnt figure out how to get on the roof. Then when he was up there it sounded like a WWE match. (The filters probably didnt fit, but he MADE them fit)Over the next week: the unit lost power, stopped turning on the fan and wouldnt go below 80. When called we were told the earliest someone could come out was later in the week.We called a competitor that came out same day.We no longer need the hot wrestling on the roof. Thanks.

The tech, Jason, was on time for the planned maintenance appointment, and he donned booties when he entered the house. Jason took pictures of the areas of concern in our heat pump, and he also showed me the results of the testing that was done. After his thorough explanation of two parts that could extend the life of our unit, we decided to have him replace both parts. Since the parts were replaced and the electronic filter was thoroughly cleaned, our heat pump is maintaining the set temperature more efficiently and isnt running as much as it was before. Were very happy with Jason and will continue our twice a year maintenance with Climate Control Inc.

I have 4 vendors quoted me to install our central air in our 3400 sq ft house. They have the product I was looking for (carrier, very quiet) & $1200 lower. They were on time and reall nice and careful. I was hesitant first out of 4 vendors but i made the right decision. Casey and the rest of the crew are professionals. Hands down the most reliable HVAC company with the fastest turn around timing and the sweetest employees that could feel my pain when we were without heat in the 30 degree weather. They heard my problem and came right out the next day! Marlena was so patient with me and was very specific and explained step by step of the process and helped with the financial portion too. Their response time isnt very good. I had a tech out to fix my A/C and he informed me that I needed a new circuit board, but he didnt have one with him, so he told me that the office would schedule someone to come back out. I asked him how long he thought that would take and he said at the earliest they could probably have someone out later that week (he was at my house on a Tuesday) or the latest early next week. Over a week went by and I hadnt heard anything so I called to get the returned visit scheduled. Now its almost going to be another week until they get someone to come back out to finish the job (so thats a total of two weeks to get my a/c fixed). The lady scheduling didnt even apologize that its taken so long to get someone back out either. Good thing the weather hasnt been hot lately (its June) or this wait time would of really sucked.

I have used Climate Control for the past few years and would recommend them to anyone. They are always on time for a scheduled appointment and the first time I used them was when my furnace quit working during a very cold spell. I contacted a couple of companies that said they were too busy but could come out in a week. A friend of mine recommended Climate Control who I called and they were out the next morning to take care of the problem so again a great company.

I had them replace an old Home Comfort Zone system with the new system. It went very smoothly, they kept the house very clean and was done in just a few hours. Dennis was able to quickly identify and correct a problem with the system a few weeks after installation. The fact that he was aware of the latest issues from the manufacturer was great, unlike so many other techs who have to go back to the office and do research to find the right solutions.

Our furnace stopped working 2 weeks ago and the company we originally hired tried to tell us the part to fix it was $800....We called Climate Control and Tony came out and fixed our furnace in 20 minutes at a fraction of the cost. I have been a Climate Control customer for many years. I just want to say that this company is the best. They always advise me of upcoming dates for service, easy to schedule appointments within a time frame that works for me and are always on time, very friendly, professional and courteous. We recently bought a manufactured home and called them to check on our heating and air conditioning systems. They were awesome, pointed out possible problems and solutions. They are very honest and do not try to rip you off. Will continue to do business with them as long as I own my home. We also needed to install a water heater, something they do not do, but were more than happy to recommend an honest and reliable company! Now that is what I call service. We had Climate Control install a new high efficiency heat pump system in our home about 5 years ago. It replaced a 20 year old heat pump which was inefficient & undersized, and had lost most of its (now illegal) coolant. Wow what a difference! The Sales people were courteous and helpful in all aspects of the sale, thoroughly explaining all the rebates that were then currently available from PGE, State of Oregon and others. Although the new system was an unexpected hit to our wallets, we have saved a lot on our electric bills over the years and are very satisfied with our HVAC system & the excellent service we continue to receive from Climate Control. Jason has been here twice now, rooting out problems caused by the crew who did repairs to my house following a fire. Hes attentive to detail, unlike the HVAC guy the other company sent! I wish I didnt need someone to fix someone elses mistakes, but very glad it could be done. I also appreciate his courtesy in wearing mask and gloves in my house. A great representative for Climate Control.Update Aug 2020: Jason came out again to fix the air scrubber that was originally installed by a different company that refused to consider a manufacturer problem as warranty work. Climate Control would have, but they didnt install it! As though I hadnt already learned my lesson: start with Climate Control. They will fix others mistakes, but they do the job better in the first place, so dont bother going somewhere else!

They are professional, considerate, and don’t try to sell you parts that you don’t need. Highly recommend.
