Sometimes you just find a hidden Gem! Friends recommended Erin and Brian at FSHF and we could not have been more pleased. This is a crazy busy time for contract professionals and never once did we feel like they had any other customers (and I know they are in high demand). Green options, custom coordination with existing floors and timely follow through made this a 5* experience all around. Now, if they only did everything else...!!

The quality and craftsmanship of their work is better than Ive seen elsewhere. They definitely take the time to do it right. Their wood is high quality and the install was very precise. Also I had an install during Covid, and their employees were very professional and followed all the safety precautions which made me feel much more at ease.

I would use them again if I needed flooring quickly and wasn’t super concerned with price and quality. Brian and team did a sufficient job but were not particularly careful with our house, banging materials around and leaving large finish splash ups across the molding and in some areas the walls so we needed significant paint afterwards and a few cosmetic issues in the final product. Brian and team were not responsive for fixing the few cosmetic issues so eventually I gave up trying to schedule a time to fix them. The team misquoted the project due to internal communication issues so we ended up paying a little more then the original quote which I was okay with. Within months, there was a fair amount of cracking requiring some fixes . They stayed on schedule which was generally good and had a pleasant approachable demeanor and got the job completed with an okay level of quality for a slightly higher than price than some other contractors but better scheduling / availability.

Father & Sons stepped in to refinish our kitchen floors and countertops on extremely short notice after another contractor bailed. Brian and co. were efficient, exact and did a terrific job. Adam, who did the work, is extremely skilled and hard-working. We have pine flooring and countertops, and both were badly beat up - now they look great. We give them our highest recommendation.
