This is a preliminary review, but a very good one based on my telephone dealings with store employees Connor and Diana to track down an urgent replacement for my Shure se535, which came up missing prior to my departure from PDX to an international flight connection out of Seattle.Even though the store is completely in the process of boxing up everything in it to move from 1 Concours to Concourse D this weekend, they have taken extraordinary time with me to sort out the higher-end headphones available there, and even offered to come out through security to get my card to complete the transaction, Etc.Even though the store is located in a high rent airport location the prices are standard retail prices, the Westone W40 headphones at $499, and the Westone W60 headphones at $999. Yes these are expensive prices but for very high-end headphones, just shy of Flagship models. The employees are both extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly [ they must have replaced the condescending employees from whom a one-star reviewer reported being unable to complete a purchase on two occasions. Really?]They have done everything conceivably possible to facilitate a transaction, and we have decided that I will be able to complete it on Monday as I pass through PDX on my way to SeaTac. I will update this review if completing my purchase is anything other than a breeze.

Fantastic store with everything from bargain bin earbuds to top of the line in ear receivers. You would think a store like this in an airport would be a ripoff but not at all! If you forgot your headphones at home before leaving for a flight, dont hesitate, Ive bought my last two headsets here and Ive been very happy.

They gave me good direction to make a particular item purchase at another store even though I didn’t make a purchase with them. Cheers to your staff.

You will surely over-pay for what you get here, but it serves you well in a pinch. The customer service is hit or miss as other reviews point to, but that is to be expected at an airport. Make sure to plan ahead for your audio needs, but stop by here if you forget something integral.

Pathetic service. Condescending and ignoring customers. Second attempt to purchase here.

On Thursday 27th of April at roughly 9.00am, I went into this place to buy some earphones. I ended up selecting some Philips ones. The girl who served me, asked if I wanted her to take them out of the packaging and I said yes, as I was planning to use them on the plane. She then proceeded to open the package, and yank on the cords to get it out of the packaging. I cringed at it, at the time, but didnt say anything. That was my error in this process...When I got on the plane, I plugged them into my phone and low and behold, the earphones dont work. I know that its from her roughly yanking at the cords, because when I push the base of the cord, it will sometimes suddenly get sound for a few fleeting seconds. This is typical of earphone cords that have come loose at the base.I had no time to go back to make a complaint and I wasted $30 on a pair of earphones that I doubt would have been faulty prior to her rough treatment of them.I emailed a complaint to them and have been told that they only provide domestic exchanges (Im now back home in Australia) and also wont offer me a refund. What a joke. They are looking into the incident with the employee, but I should have been compensated. Pathetic excuse for a business.
