A man in his 60s with white hair at will call is incredibly rude. The experience I had while he was correcting every word I said like he was a grammar teacher was very uncomfortable. He would get close to your face and correct you if you didnt ask for the proper material in a certain way that he wanted you to ask. I will be contacting the owner and letting the owner know my experience and make sure he understands how it effects business relationships.

I needed a small amount of a particular base moulding to replace some water damage in my home. I looked all over town and this was the only place that had it. My interactions with them over the phone and in person were excellent, and I got the material I needed.

Our previous carpenter (who was moonlighting as a contractor) ordered a bathroom window from WestPac with non-tempered glass. This a safety issue and against city code. The item line for the window is labeled bath indicating WestPac was fully aware of its intended application. After failing our city inspection, I called WestPac to ask if they could work with us to replace the window, quickly, and with some compensation (credit towards a new purchase/ability to return, etc.) for the mistake. They responded that they just do what the contractor says and we should take our business to a glass replacement company. The trouble with that response is that we called multiple times during the delays from 2020 (covid/wildfires) and also to update them when we terminated our contract with the carpenter. And while it was said that these concerns (saftey/code failure) had been discussed with our former carpenter - there were multiple opportunities we could have also been forwarned and werent. Would never recommend.

I reached out to the CEO of this company inquiring about lumber donations for my Eagle Scout project. Amazingly, they went above and beyond by donating ALL of the lumber for my project, and were kind, polite and patient throughout the entire process. All of the lumber was cut precisely, of good quality, and was ready in a timely manner. Overall, one of the greatest experiences Ive had at any company of this kind. Large variety of products and excellent service. Thanks!

Josh Dearing has been our sales rep for years. He is knowledgeable, professional, responsive and works above and beyond which as a builder is the best partnership. This year we switched our windows over and that has been seamless. Thanks Josh!

I cant even believe the difference these doors make! Every door fits like a glove. My installer could not stop raving about the precision of the fit. Start to finish, the kind of experience a consumer should expect! Thank you WESTPAC!

Western Pacific has plenty of great sales people to work with, If you can avoid working with JOSH DEARING do so. We asked for a bid from West Pack twice and no one stopped by once. The circumstances stood, the first sales rep left the company before providing us with a price and the second one just never got back to us after weeks of waiting. After getting in touch for the third time this time with Josh, without hesitation rudely Josh assuming that the two sales reps that we have been in touch with meant that we were shopping for the cheapest price sense now we are talking with him. Rudely, insulting and with a mocking tone he started to over react saying that we are out for the cheapest price and that no one will give us a price from Western Pacific. Further more going on and telling us to shop at HomeDepo and referring us to a laundry list of other companies he referred to as cheep and lower graded companies. Trying to clear up the situation with him, it became clear really quick that he had no intention of understanding the situation or helping us get an estimate. In the end being rudely insulted we never got an estimate.Western Pacific is a big company with many sales reps and seems like a great company with lots of builders working with them in the NW and getting great results. JOSH DEARING tho should be avoided if possible if you are looking for a good customer service and great results. In the end he just seemed like a loose cannon that is not in control of his personal emotions.

These guys are the leaders of the game. In particular Josh Dearing. Since 2002 he has been there with all the knowledge that I have needed from super crazy custom stuff to the minimalist. There are soooooo many options for millwork/hardware/doors & more and Josh has never failed. On time deliveries and easy fill in orders. All around top notch. Also should mention the accounting staff and how wonderful they’re to work with on an accounting level!

I’ve been working with WestPac for the last Three years in a builder and consumer capacity and have been thoroughly satisfied and impressed with my experience. I have had the pleasure of working with different salespeople, inside and outside as well as engagement from senior management and even delivery drivers. Everyone I have interacted with goes above and beyond to provide an extraordinary experience especially Josh Dearing. He is attentive and passionate about his job with decades of industry knowledge. Even with the volume and size of Western Pacific as a supplier, the personal attention provided by Josh and his teammates have established a great working relationship with us as a client and we have and will continue to refer Westpac as a great building partner that values your business.

As a discerning home builder, Western Pacific has been a key supplier for our business. For over 20 years, the crew at Hartwood Homes has specifically worked with Josh Dearing. He not only consistently serviced our projects but has also gone above and beyond when small things come up. I would highly recommend him as he has exceptional product knowledge and when asked, will make alternative product suggestions for us to achieve our building goals. Another reason for my 5 star review is the communication. There is a constant dialog from ordering to production to delivery. Its a small thing, but unlike other suppliers, their product is actually packaged correctly for transport. All in all a superior company!

As a project manager for a custom home builder I have dealt with Westpac many times.Josh Dearing is my sales representative and has always been great to work with. I typically schedule an on site visit with Josh after the homeowners and designer have made selections at Westpac. We verify all aspects of the project in an attempt eliminate any mistakes before the final order. Westpac has always been very proactive in correcting any mistakes (mine or theirs) within the material order. Westpacs customer service is phenomenal, pickup orders are usually on site in 1-2 days.

There is only one place I would ever go to get doors and millwork. Hands down the best customer service ever. Of course there are issues that come up (we are all human and some jobs are complicated) but they are the only ones that will respond and jump thru hoops to make it right. Best in town!

I would advise anyone considering business with West Pac to go in with eyes wide open. We embarked on a new build and the sales person who helped us with the doors and trim work made numerous errors that required sending doors back, waiting for new doors (only to get them wrong again). The person who helped with windows was friendly and helpful, but again, due to computer errors with M ilgard windows (which I would NEVER recommend, either -- they still dont have our windows right after months of waiting) our home has been delayed again and again. Further, because we have to wait for the new windows, we need to pay the painter to come back on a special trip just to stain the windows because the correct ones werent all here on time. Currently, the sub is building our stairs and the trimwork for the stairs is out of proportion to the stairs and looks silly. Sure, we could have it redone -- to the tune of $1500 for labor and $850 for parts -- an unneeded extra expense if it had been done correctly in the first place. As newbies to the building process, we needed a salesperson and a company who understood and could process the fine details that are involved. We got none of that from Westpac. Honestly, if you have a choice between West Pac and somewhere else, I would go somewhere else. It certainly couldnt get much worse than delayed building schedule, inattention to detail, and expensive fixes.UPDATE: 2/28/2017 Milguard came to replace the windows. They brought the wrong ones (primed, not stain-grade as ordered). Project delayed AGAIN until 3/14. I cant believe a company can be so incompetent.
