Ive been going here all my life and its always been superb. Much better than Voodoo doughnuts in my opinion. My go to order is two apple fritters and a strawberry milk :) My brother and his best friend used to go at 10 pm on what they called bro-nut runs lol.

Best donuts in Portland!!!! Better than Blue Star and Voodoo. AMAZING chocolate donut holes, amazing apple cider donut, amazing all of them. So excited, but sad I don’t live near one.

The staff here is as congenial as they come... but they need to learn how to count! when i order 15 donut holes i always get 18-20 of them, if i order 30 its usually somewhere around 36 or more. and they always run back to the kitchen to get some that are still warm. theyre as sweet as can be!

The best place for a late night snack. Maple bars are a must.

I’ve been going to Sesame since I was a little kid. The owners are amazing and it is a wonderful family business. They employ lots of local kids and always have great donuts! I remember sitting at the counter before little league games eating a Boston Cream and a chocolate milk. Will always love this place forever and ever.

A Portland institution. Good regular donuts...not gourmet but at a REAL price. They are great supporters of our local charities and fund raisers so lets support them.

This location has really fallen in quality. The last visit, one yeast donut was completely flattened in / squeezed and the rest taste like stale frying oil.Prices are up there too, around $11 for 6 fancy donuts.In my experience the other day, the location on Scholls Ferry Blvd. had more selection and tastier product.

This is a great donut place and Im nit surprised it keeps getting recommended to me. My partner has Celiac and when I brought home a maple glazed gluten free donut for them they were ecstatic and said it was easily the best maple glaze they have ever had! Now they did say the donut itself wasnt as good as some of the best gluten based donuts they have had but with the maple glaze you wouldnt know. The best part is they keep the gluten free donuts in the back away from the regular ones!

Simple donuts, nice folks, no silly voodoo line

I want to love this place and support them because they are my hometown donut shop. But honestly their donuts are very average. Very generic. They are like the donuts youd get for or at office staff meetings at a large corporation or government agency. I really hope someday they will get more gourmet, and take it up a notch. With Krispy Kreme, Blue Star, and Nola Donuts in town, they really need to up their game.

They have a gigantic donut you can order. Generous sized donuts and always happy smiles when I bring these. People love them. Customer service is excellent and open 24 hours.

A great place to grab something sweet or a bagel anytime if the day. Before the pandemic, the inside and outside were a nice place to meet other locals or just sit down and enjoy the weather. The outdoor area gets good sun during the summer.With social distancing in place, the inside seating is closed but you can still sit outside. There’s a small grassy area next to the sidewalk if you want something else to sit on.The donuts are great, reminds me of the donut shops back in Chicago. It’s not a trendy “designer” donut place like voodoo... it’s like Dunkin’ Donuts for Portland! The staff are really friendly and are nice to chat with.Stop in and say hi and grab the mangers special!

Ok seriously, try the party donut. My daughter was turning 11 and she loves maple bars. Two 18 inch maple bars please! The look on her face was awesome, a huge 11 for a donut cake! The owner is great, always helpful, and oh, the donuts are good too. What more can you ask for?

Sesame donuts is a Portland staple. They have been around forever.One time we went here and noticed they have a donut called the “Sid Special”. Our sons name is Sid and I guess the owners name is also Sid, so we chatted about that for a moment.The lady helping us said if we wanted to we could call ahead next time and they could change the signs on the other donuts of our choice and name them after our other kids temporarily so they wouldn’t feel left out.I was a bit surprised by this suggestion but this is an example of great customer service.

They are ok. I like the jelly filled donut holes, cant get them anywhere else. But ... the donuts themselves are pretty pricy for what you get and not very fresh ... I think they make them once super early in the morning and the later in the day you come the yuckier they are. Its not like kispy kreme where they cook them all day and you get them still warm.

Was excited to try this place because its supposed to be one of the best donut places in Portland. Donuts were pretty subpar honestly- quite dry and tasted like yesterdays donuts. The Kolache was pretty alright but is really just a hot dog wrapped in dough.

Sesame Donuts makes the best donuts! They’re dense, moist, and delicious. The lemon poppyseed donut is my favorite, but every donut I’ve had there is bomb! We made a special order to get a bunch of donuts, then made them into our wedding cake. It was a huge hit.

They used to be 24/7 which was amazing as they were the only place I could go some nights after my graveyard shift. Hope they go back to 24/7.

The donuts at sesame are good for a good price, but this location the servers are usually very short with me. Today I came in during open hours and no one came to the front to take my order for 10 minutes. It was like there was no employees in the store...weird! Leaving a sign to let customers know you are on break is pretty customary.

Carpooling to work, we decided to stop and grab a quick donut. That started the endless temptation to stop every morning since then for a raised glazed donut. I havent had a donut from them yet that I havent liked.

My hot take is that sesame donuts are the best donuts in the Portland area. I bet Im wrong but theyre better than the other more popular donut places by a mile.

Was really wanting/craving donuts. Sadly disappointed.According to the Google maps listing it was supposed to be the only 24/7 donut shop open along my route home. Nope closed. I arrived just before 0400hrs, building was occupied yet a sign on the door said it would not open for another hour. I wasnt going to wait. Someone should update the listing.Mayhaps next time. Until then 1 star and poor review.Please note I understand all the Covid restrictions and such, yet that store still states it is open 24/7.

Definitely one of the best places to go for donuts in the Portland area; good selection and a wide enough variety to satisfy your needs. The icing on the cake is that they are open 24-hours, so you can head right there whenever the craving hits.

These are the best donuts in Portland and I think the owner is sweet, so that makes it even better. The Hwy 10 location is the best. The donuts are always fresh, they often have samples, and I love the recipes because they don’t shy away from sugar. Donuts are like mini cakes and I think they should have frosting.The marble bar is my favorite (maple bar with a chocolate drizzle), but I often pair it with a mini apple fritter (perfectly crunchy and with noticeable apple bits), the Portland cream (coffee flavored Boston cream), the Sid’s Special, or any of the filled donuts.They have rotating specialties, too, for the holidays. Clean, fresh, tasty.

I’m actually shocked at how rude the lady working the night shift is here. Tonight we were actually so affronted by her behavior that we moved to laughter. We came to get a donut to make our day better, and we left feeling even worse than before.

Crazy delicious, and I definitely understand why its known as one of the best in town. The kid at the front was very helpful and patient when I was deciding what to get. Went with the sesame, pumpkin spice, lemon poppy seed, and buttermilk bar. The sesame donut looks weird, but is MARVELOUS. Perfect mix of crunchy, soft, savory, and sweet. The icing they use is also not too drippy and not too dry--theyve found a perfect balance. I was literally scraping icing bits out of my paper bag, like an animal. Its GOOD.I guess this place is a long time fixture because the kid told me his mom had actually worked there as well, 20 years prior. Its always cool to go somewhere with HISTORY! The seating is cute, and I saw fresh flowers on a couple tables. They also have adorable tiny donuts in different colors for 75¢. Perfect for little kids who might not finish an entire full size donut or anyone who enjoys tiny treats.He did forget to pack my pumpkin spice donut, but it was probably my fault for being too conversational and not checking my bag before I had to run out. Regardless, I will go back, and I highly recommend it to anyone!

We have been going here for what seams like forever!! Since I was a kid in the 80s and it was a Dunkin Donuts. Seame doesnt disappoint in comparison. Its a fun family treat and everythings made fresh right there.

Donuts are tasty with large selection. The coffee is weak (but nice and hot). The breakfast sandwiches are pretty good,. Plenty of parking and three small outside tables.

The donuts are good but the customer service is seriously off. If they don’t have something in stock they will tell you “they don’t make it.” None of the locations ever make enough of the jalapeño cream cheese pastry ever and this one told me that they have never made it. 🙄

I love this place . The customer service is amazing. During covid they sometimes get a line . One time I was there and I watched the owner Notice a line. This was on a cold windy day. Seeing this he soon came running out with fresh warm samples of donuts to help with the chill.

Little school sized milk cartons are outrageously expensive and overpriced😠!! donuts were very good yet the last 2 times me and my fiance went there he has felt sick for a brief period of time afterwards lasted about an hour or so.

Amazing and fresh

First time here. Exceptional service by a genuine family (Saeid and sons) oriented buisness. Goes out of the way to serve. Even to the point of making a fresh batch of my desired donuts. Didnt say later...made it within 20m. Constant incoming customers. Best part was the display of the donuts. Taste test of the mini jelly donut holes was yum. Will go back again.

This family knows how to make and create scrumptious donuts & other baked goodies. Friendly staff. The shop is clean in a tight space, but the pastry from Sesame Donuts is 2nd to none.

This place was already a favorite, but this last visit made me want to leave a review. My daughter has a milk allergy, but like most kids, wants the colorful donuts with sprinkles. The woman at the counter took one of the plain Vegan donuts, frosted and sprinkled it, just how my d wanted. These guys are always friendly and cheerful. Donuts are great too.

Not some trendy hipster donut disaster. This is the real deal - classic donuts, good hot coffee, friendly staff, and a long standing commitment to the kids and families in their community. Absolutely must get the Apple Cider donut and the pumpkin spice donut. The namesake sesame donut is also a delicious treat and something you should try from the family’s own recipe!

Online says its 24 hours, but apparently now its12:54 am now and they have signs u saying they are closed until 4:30 am.. yet there is a worked inside with no mask on and is handling the donuts.. I wont be coming back until after the pandemics over..

I’m new to the area, and I’ve been enjoying the Sesame Donuts in Tigard (too often according to my wife). I stopped in at this location, and I was greeted and treated in the same friendly manner I was used to. Lina was a real delight, and the donuts were too!
