Amazingly good breakfast. I had the lox plate and my wife had the Full Monty. Both were great and the coffee was excellent as well. The service was wonderful and the servers were super sweet and kind. If highly recommend if youre hungry in the morning
Solid breakfast restaurant. Everybody liked what they ordered, biscuits & gravy, chiliquiles, burrito egg bowl, traditional breakfast plate. I try pancakes everywhere & these were the best Ive had in Portland! So fluffy. We waited 30 min & the table we were waiting for was taking longer than expected, so they put together two tables for us. Great service!
We were told it would be a 20 minute wait. after sitting right outside the front door for 30 minutes, the hostess told us that our name was called already and that she’d seat us shortly. we waited for 10 more minutes before we were fed up and went down the street to an amazing breakfast truck in pioneer square. i heard the food is good, but we unfortunately never even got to sit down
I love a little corner diner and this place did not disappoint. Great biscuits and gravy, coffee always kept full, service was very attentive. We very much enjoyed.
Pretty good food. I had the corned beef hash and the hash browns were very crispy just the way I like em. Latte was decent. The rest of the party all said their food was delicious.
Comfortable local place, great people, great coffee. I always feel at home here. Food is great--chorizo burrito being a favorite.
Excellent food and exceptional staff! Chilaquiles is outstanding, Daily Benny is delicious, and the Half Monty is amazing. Best Bloody Mary I’ve tried! The Matcha Shake is perfect. The staff is so kind. I can’t get enough!
Cute diner style brunch spot. Great coffee but I thought my veggie breakfast burrito was a little under seasoned. Side sausage was the highlight
Great breakfast diner. Friendly staff, great service and super food. Would be regulars if we lived in Portland
Update: Made another visit 4 months later. And... This place is STILL KILLING IT! Chilaquiles are fantastic, as well as the rest of the food. EVERY staff member we encountered was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Cant wait to come back. This place is killing it! The staff are EXTREMELY friendly and accommodating, even with our dog on the patio. Their ordering system is efficient and safe. Food is delicious and well priced. Not a single critique for these folks 👍
After waiting a few minutes for a seat, I managed to sit down. Its a small, crowded venue, meaning it took some time for staff to take my order. It took close to half an hour for my food to come out. The pancakes were good, but I dont think I can recommend this place unless you have plenty of time.
Daily Feast is the best breakfast/lunch joint in Portland. Food is carefully sourced and perfectly prepared. I would highly recommend the tuna melt, sweet potato salad and Veggie breakfast burrito!
My husband and I are visiting Portland and was delighted to discover The Daily Feast near our hotel. We are only in Portland for 2 days but have already been there twice for breakfast because it is so delicious and welcoming. This morning, we got there a bit earlier before the opening time and there was already a small crowd of hungry people waiting to go in! This just shows you how much people love this place. It’s got the charming old school diner vibe with super friendly and warm service. The food is also amazing!!! Large generous portions of delicious wholesome food. The corned beef hash, veggie scramble, and chorizo burrito were all outstanding! The Nut Ella Shake is also ridiculously good and tastes like a hazelnut chocolate mousse. We are jealous of people who live nearby this fabulous eatery!
Fast friendly service, good pricing. The oatmeal was so good and filling.
Always good food, good times, super staff, love it!!! UPDATE those really were the best blueberry pancakes I’ve ever had. I want more!! Thank you🙃
I love this place! Amazing food, attentive fun-loving kind staff and organic, locally sourced food! They play oldies and jazz and the music constantly changes. I love the vibe! Highly recommended for brunch, lunch, studying, or an amazing cup of coffee. As a coffee snob originally from Seattle, I can say it was the best cappuccino I have ever had!
Its a challenge to find a good brunch place in Portland on Saturday that it isnt overpriced or have a wait time of 40 minutes so finding The Daily Feast was such a treat. Its cute inside with the diner decor and the food was simple but tasty. People were very friendly. Looking forward to be a regular here.
The Daily Feast is truly a downtown Portland gem. Amazing food that has ALL the love cooked into it. I love, love, love their biscuits and gravy, a must try. The chiliquilles with chorizo and over easy eggs, perfection. Also, I dream about those chocolate chip cookies, yum. The owner and the staff are SO warm and welcoming each time Ive been in, and during Covid times they have shown how committed they are to keeping their guests safe. I would love to see a Cobb salad on the menu at some point, but then I would be there every single work day. Cheers!
Great lunch spot! The burger was juicy and flavorful, bun was soft and fresh, and the fries were seasoned just right. Customer service was amazing!! Highly recommend.
Great breakfast food here. It was a rainy and windy day, and they let us sit in the lobby to wait for our food. Best biscuits and gravy I have had in Portland, and my teenager LOVED the chorizo burrito. If youre looking for good comfort food for breakfast, definitely give The Daily Feast a try.
Really enjoyed the breakfast burrito I got here. It was a good size for a hungry gal! Really loved the green sauce that came with. We sat outside on the sidewalk which was a little loud but possibly more quiet than inside? The place was busy, which is great to see. The only thing we had an issue with was a coffee that took the entire meal to make it to us, but that stuff happens—and we totally understood. Staff was helpful and friendly. I would go again!
Solid breakfast and diner style food, but with higher quality ingredients. Also generous servings and super friendly staff. Oh, they also have a solid chai latte and quality tea. Would recommend!
Have come here for years. Always a great experience with delicious food
They state clearly on their printed menu items that are severed ALL DAY, EVERY DAY. Guess what: at 11:30 am all the lunch menu are not served. You guys need to review you business model. The dish that I try as alternative was very plain, not flavorful, not good at all. Never again.
This is a great restaurant! Its a bit small on the inside so be prepared to be split if you have a big party. It was very busy on a Saturday for brunch at 11 and so service was a bit slow but it was understandable for as busy as they were. The food was fantastic!!! I got the spring porridge and it came with some delicious fruit even off season and the mix of extra seeds and oats gave it a nice crunch. Then my bf got the eggs benny. Im not usually a fan of hollandaise but this was not over lemony and was over a hash brown muffin type thing. Sooo delicious. Has vegetarian options and some gluten free. Definitely a great choice downtown. Will be coming again many times!!
They have good enough food, but they never answer their phones to take orders. We wont be back! People who call in orders are customers too!
Ever since i moved to portland a few years ago, the daily feast has been one of my favorite spots in town. the friendly staff and delicious food have always made me feel at home. the chilaquiles are amazing, but sometimes you have to go classic and get some buttermilk pancakes!
Wonderful service, setting and food.Very pleased with The Daily Feast.
Food was delicious and the staff was so friendly! Great experience.
A friend recommended we stop here for breakfast while we were visiting Portland. It is a great little diner with a pretty extensive menu. My husband ordered the Spring Bowl and he hasnt stopped raving about it since! I ordered a more traditional scramble which was less remarkable, but still good. Everything was made to order with fresh ingredients. My biscuit on the side was perfect with a bit of jam. Great coffee and friendly service topped off a very pleasant dining experience. I am 100 per cent sure we would return if ever back in town.
Probably my favorite breakfast spot in Portland. Pancakes definitely my favorite in Portland. Good service. Really quick, and priced really well.
Staff was incredibly nice and helpful, can’t wait to recommend this spot to others!
I live/work in the area and have been coming here regularly for a number of years. The people here are incredibly friendly and helpful. The food used to be spectacular. Lately, I have been consistently disappointed. I have received orders with items missing, and once it was a completely wrong order. The quality and care are also lacking.I understand that mistakes happen. Running and managing a restaurant during a pandemic must be unimaginably difficult. These are reasons why Ill continue to support The Daily Feast with lower expectations and hope things improve.
Not mind blowing, but really damn good! Service was excellent, and the drinks were absolutely perfect!
Best biscuits and gravy in Portland. I moved here from South Carolina a few months ago, and I can tell you these would be right at home in Charleston. Took me too long to visit, because I only live a few blocks away. Will be ordering breakfast there a lot more often after today.
Diner style restaurant with modern touches. 3 meat burrito is a favorite! Service is good as well, service staff is attentive.
I ordered the Chilaquiles on a whim, its one of my favorite dishes - a comfort food from my childhood. Not knowing what to expect in this version from an American breakfast establishment, I was NOT disappointed. Spot on flavor (although my palate likes a little more heat) I would suggest asking for a little more of that salsa (on the side, so your food doesnt get soggy). Two thumbs up from this Mexican. 😁
The biscuits and gravy were great! The biscuits are on the crispier side. I dont believe this is only a single dollar sign price. This is at least two, plates will run on average of $10-$12.50 each. The coffee is cheap, the cocktails are ~$10 and beer or wine is ~$6 each.I liked the atmosphere and the service was decent. The staff is friendly but we must have gotten there during the rush and they were busy. There wait for a table isnt terribly long.
Food was ok. Poached eggs were chalky :(
Came down from California. We ordered the chilaquiles and they were cold, and dry. Maybe if they were hot and with more sauce it would be a lot better, alsoOrdered the half morty everything was good except the hash brown. Food didn’t seem fresh. Staff was friendly tho
I wish I could give this place 6 stars. The pancakes are the best Ive ever had in my life. So light and fluffy. Seriously. I need the recipe like, yesterday. The honey butter for the biscuit was also awesome; sausage and bacon were both excellent. Cute little place. Good coffee. I wish I lived in Portland because I would have breakfast dates here DAILY. I didnt take pictures of the food because I inhaled it all before I thought about writing a review. Sorry. Go eat here and take your own pics :)
Veggie scramble and fresh squeezed OJ are my go-to brunch staples. So good!
We tried the Chilequiles and Eggs Benny - both were fantastic! Solid COVID protocols and super friendly - you guys are doing an amazing job! The chai was also delicious - can’t wait to come back.
Great breakfast spot!Really enjoyed my main course, the Strammerma. I wasn’t a huge fan of the Nutella shake, which didn’t taste at all like Nutella and immediately I could sense was not ice cream based. I’m sure it’s a big hit for healthier crowds that I choose not to associate with. However, all around I did love this place and everything else I tried I really, really liked.
Just ordered from postmates because its gross outside. Our drinks were sold out, comped and replaced with something else, but also, a lovely apology on the bag. I love it!! Great customer service 👏 and excellent food!!!
Very nice for takeout. Online ordering is easy and they have it ready when they say. Very friendly.
Amazing customer service I LOVE their food! I issue with my Postmates order (with delivery not the food) today and they remade it no problem great quality and they even threw in an extra cookie would highly recommend love the staff!!
3 meat breakfast burrito was excellent and so was the service. Will return 🙂
