YOU HAVE A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!I don’t normally post reviews as you can see from my profile, but this place left me in tears.. Tears of joy, of course! The ladies here are so patient and caring, and after seeing some of the negative reviews I had to put my shopping experience out there. I have had a very difficult year to say the least, as most of us have but it is very nice to know that there is still good customer service out there. I didn’t have much to spend, but the associate took her time and didn’t make me feel like my purchase wasn’t worth while. After explaining what this purchase meant to me, she called over another associate to help and we were able to find not one piece, but a beautiful earring and necklace set! When they presented me the jewelry all boxed up, they read to me what this collection represents and I was left completely speechless. These ladies took the time to find something meaningful just for me. Truly grateful, is an under statement. Thank you to the team at Kay’s for this wonderful experience!

My husband and I upgraded my wedding ring to a Le Vian Morganite ring that was on sale on the Kay website. When I went into the store, they were sold out but Linda graciously called a store in Hawaii that had 2 in stock. It was shipped out on Monday and by Friday, I had my unbelievably gorgeous new wedding ring on my finger. I have never squealed at a ring but I did as I slipped this one on my finger. Teena and Mercedes were beyond nice as well. I dont understand some of the bad reviews, mine was absolutely outstanding and Ive already had so many compliments on my ring! Thank you Linda, Teena and Mercedes!!!

I would never buy anything from this location, or any other Kay jeweler. Ive been dealing with an item that I purchased almost two weeks ago and never received to this day, I now have a return claim on an item I havent actually received or returned.It all started when I purchased it through the store where they buy the item online on your behalf, this is a joke (you could just buy it online yourself). They also put down my email wrong so I never received a receipt.. The Kay warehouse then took a week to ship it, and then ended up being returned to sender when it was supposed to deliver to the store.Kay refuses to refund or send another item until they recieve the original return shipment and process the return (Im told 7-30 days). Im waiting on a return for something I never received and now dont have a receipt because of the store associate.If you call Kay, customer service is a joke and youll end up disputing it with your bank. I would not ever buy from any Kay location again. Look up complaints on the Better Business Bureau, they are similar and common for this company..

The associate who helped me was not nice at all. I wasn’t able to bring my ring in for repair during COVID since I was considered high risk. I do have a warranty on my ring that I paid for at the time of purchase. I brought my ring in in December and one of the associates told me to not send my ring in because of COVID and that I needed to wait until things got better. Not knowing any better that’s what I did. Now I am trying to send my ring in for repair and they are saying because I waited I will now have to pay to fix it because my warranty is out of date for not sending it in, even though that was what I was instructed to do. The associate who was helping me was so rude to me when she was explaining things. Just out right rude to me for no reason. She did call over the manager and the manger was extremely nice to work with. She was able to see the note in the computer where they told me not to send it in and was able to do my repair. I appreciate the manger helping me out I just don’t understand why the associate was so nasty to me right off the bat. She did start being nice to me when the manger told her that they were in fact going to send my ring in. The name of the associate was Janet

I wish I could do zero stars. My fiance and I got our rings here in February. First they lost my fiances ring in the mail. It then got reordered in the wrong size. So we had to wait again for the correct size to be delivered. When we finally got his ring in, around MAY. I took my double band and ring in to be sodered together. It took about 3 weeks. I came in to pick it up, and my ring was sitting over the top of my double band. It was net set down inside the band. I explained this to the associate in store. She understood what I meant and sent it back in to be fixed. Another couple weeks went by and I got a call that my ring came back worse and it wasnt what I asked for. She told me they added gold to my white gold ring to cover up SCRATCHES.. she then went on to say she could take it to another repair shop to try to fix it but she was worried it would damage the ring to much. At this point I was hoping to trade it out. I was directed to the customer service line since I was over my 30 days. Customer service sent me back to the store manager. They sent me back to customer service. Its been non stop. I do not want to exchange at this point and am furious that no one can communicate properly. I get married in 3 weeks and I still dont have a ring. I hate leaving bad reviews but this horrible customer service and creating so much stress. I am asking for a refund not an exchange because I never want to do bussiness with Kay jewlers again. Absolutely ridiculous.

I feel soooo blessed. The manager let me exchange my ring. It was damaged from swimming and the 60 day return date was was way past. With the stress of covid my niece passing I was too preoccupied to exchange in time. There are good people in the world. Thank you thank you

I hate giving one star. But I have been a customer for years and have had great service up to now. I have always bought the warranties on every piece purchased. Today was told would not cover stone replacement. I seriously purchase at three pices a year. I am going to take my business else where. If you cant honor your warranty I pay for.

I came here with my husband looking to buy a custom made ring. They Were quick to greet us as soon as we came in. They were very quick about sizing my finger and finding out what I liked. They took their time with me to make sure That I was able to look at all the options that they had available. We ended up designing a very beautiful ring together Online inside the store. Unfortunately inside the store I received an error message and they told me I had to do it at home.So I went home and I was able to find the exact ring Style I was looking for thanks to them writing it down for me at the store. I was able to build my custom ring with my Families birth stones in it very quickly. I was also able to arrange the birth stones in the order I liked and got to see A picture of how it would look in that order before I purchased it. Over all it was a very quick and easy process. It also showed me the options Of how much it would cost to have artificial birth stones put into the ring versus real birth stones.When I went to purchase the ring online the price never changed. Which was a nice change from other places I had tried to purchase Custom made jewelry from before. It took 2 weeks to get my ring in. I picked it up inside the store and we looked over it together to make sure that there was no flaws in the ring. It was perfect I am very satisfied.

My husband and I have spent quite the amount of money here and when we ordered my wedding band we had to send it to service to get it resized. When I got it it still didnt fit so the young woman who helped me said going up barley half a size would do it. I wait another 2 weeks for my band. It came back and STILL DIDNT FIT. I went to bring it today to get it sent for the 3rd time and they were closed at 2pm. There was also no communication from the store to us on when our items got in the store to pick up. This Kays jewlers is not knowledgeable of their products and evidently dont care how many times a ring gets sent back to service. Its been an unpleasant experience and will never use this location again.

The reason why I gave 5 stars is because of the manager. Anthony is truly trying to hire good staff. They havent had that, and I have had some issues but everytime I have spoken with him he seeks to change the environment and get a good staff of people hired. There is improvement that needs made, but Anthony will take care it. If you have an issue he will deal with it. Please be kind to him, he is trying to better the store. Thank you Anthony! You are kind, respectful, and a hard worker. I appreciate the help you have given me.

It’s a shame I have to leave at least one star.I attempted to purchase a ring online, receiving an error during checkout. Thinking I had perhaps entered a wrong number, I tried to checkout again. Same error. I then checked my banking app to see that I had two pending charges on my account. The next day I called customer support and Kay CS claimed they didn’t have any orders. I called back with my bank rep for a 3-way phone call to figure out the mistake and Kay CS put the order in for me. A lady named Jerry took my information but entered the wrong email address down. The next day I called to check my order status and found out that my order had been canceled because of That error. The man I spoke to was rude so I asked for his supervisor. After about 40 minutes, Amy, found the item I wanted and promised me she would over night it to this location for me. Two days later, still no call. I called the store and Mercedes said she would call with an update. She never did. Amy eventually called me and stated that they “forgot” to overnight my ring and it won’t arrive until Tuesday, which is when I leave for vacation. Meaning I now have no ring to propose with AND I still have 4K in pending charges to Kay Jewelers. Wow.

UnpreparedWe recently went to pick up our jewelry that had gone in for repairs at the Clackamas Town Center location in Portland. Our experience was less than desired because of how unprepared the manager (Mercedes) was for handling business during the reopening phase of the COVID response. On June 14th we were told to just show up to pick up our jewelry during business hours. Prior to that, my wife and I called to verify the jewelry was ready and ask if we needed to schedule a time. Both she and I were told that we didn’t need an appointment and just come on down. Needless to say, when we got there at the opening time, there were two employees that already were with two customers that seemed to have appointments. We followed the instructions posted and proceeded to wait for 45 min. I was the first on the waitlist and by the time the one of the two employees were freed up there were 9 others on the list.I feel that there was a lack of preparation and direction to optimize sales and service. My hope is that you can make changes within your store structure to accommodate business during these times. Have more staff, schedule appointment times for pick ups or have a dedicated person for pick ups.

I was so thankful to have been able to work with the manager at Clackamas Kay Jewelers last Monday. He is one of those rare people who are just perfect at their job- kind, attentive, cheerful, and willing to problem solve. I came in with an earring issue, and he was empathetic and ready to jump in and help. We found a great solution, and I was so thankful to him for his concern and passion for his job. We need many more people like him in the world! Customer service was also fantastic. Great team, Kay Jewelers!

Horrible customer service. Walked in with my fiance, trying to see selections of wedding bands and get sizing. Employees NEVER greeted us. Never acknowledged us during the time we were there. We probably stuck around for 15-20 minutes. Wont ever be purchasing anything here nor will I recommend anyone. After we got fed up, We walked straight ahead to Zales and THEY were awesome!

I have been here a few times, staff has been different but it looks like they are making improvements. I like seeing their selection and every one of them is so nice. I appreciate how hard they work. Alot of people come in and have a bad day and take it out on the employees! They are all so wonderful! I recomend this store for your next jewelry purchase!!!!

Until this recent year Ive been a pretty happy customer, however this last few months have changed my view.Its not the staff, but the repair company I have an issue with. I have a warranty on my ring, and brought it in with a cracked band (for the 2nd time in 2 months). Upon return it came back totally messed up. Its no longer round, looks like a mens band was fused with my ring, and for some reason 2 stones were replaced with 2 completely different looking ones. It was passed around over and over, and several phonecalls were made. The repair company claimed it was the best they could do and even denied replacing the stones. Months later it still looks the same and I reluctantly took it as is.I was without my wedding band for months, best chance I have now is to wait and hope they get a better repair company or to accept a trade for a completely different wedding band seeing as how they no longer sell anything close to what I have. Neither are great options.

Needed to return item I paid cash for one week ago. Barb, assistant manager, asked how much return was for, I told her and she said that she would call manager and he would make sure money would be available at 1:30 today. So I took time off work, drove 27 miles to take care of business only to be told they dont give cash returns because they dont have enough in register. So I told Anthony, store manager, what I was told. He says shes young and doesnt know policy. I repeated to her her words while he was standing there and she said yes. She had said that. He blew her off and gave me the corporate number and a receipt for money to be returned BY CHECK IN 2 WEEKS.It appears to me that Kay Jewelers employees in Clackamas Town Center make up what ever they need to say to get your sale and then make up some more rules to not return money (cash) that they toom.Would NOT recommend any purchases made there.

If you send out jewlery, youll never get a status update thats promised and theyll never call you to tell you its back in, and dont bother calling them because its impossible to get a human being on the phone. I shouldve used shane co. Never had a good experience with any kay jewlers in the 3 years ive used them. The review about making stuff up to get sales and then making more stuff up once youre locked it is completely true.

My Fiancé proposed & I turned my ring in for resizing on 4/2 with a promise date of 4/16. I called the Friday before and they said my ring was still being resized and that it would be back by 4/22. I let her know I was told it would be ready by 4/16 & she said she would call and put a rush on the order. I called again on Monday 4/16 & they said it would be ready the next day. I was so excited! I would finally be able to wear my engagement ring! I got an email the next day that it was ready so I went to the store to pick it up. When I got there the Assistant Manager told me she was sorry but my ring hadnt been resized. She apologized saying someone should have called me. Apparently Neil Lane can only resize rings 1 size smaller or 1 size larger and that they would have to order a new ring which wouldnt be available until June. I asked her what happens if I need it resized again in the future (if I lose or gain weight) & she didnt have an answer! She just nodded her head when I asked if theyd just rebuild another ring for me. This is ridiculous!!! Needless to say I asked the Manager to call me ASAP. Arrived today so ecstatic and left beyond disappointed and crying. So much for this special time in my life.
