I have never had a dipped cupcake before and I assumed it was going to be super sweet but it was the perfect balance. It was creamy, tart, and so good! The crunch of the chocolate is a fun texture and the soft of the cream was heavenly.Love how you walk in write down what you want and as quickly as you paid your cupcakes were ready!Can’t wait to try more flavors!

I’m leaving a bad review purely based on customer service. I’ve been there twice now. First occasion I wasn’t greeted. No big deal, but she just stared at me sitting down and I was the one to say “hi, I’d like to order some cupcakes” she got up out of her seat as still didn’t say anything until I told her what I wanted. The she said okay and handed me the cupcakes and I left. Again no big deal, I thought she must’ve had a bad day. Cupcakes were AMAZING so I went back another day. This time I was greeted so I thought she was in a better mood. I started a conversation and I told her I’ve always wanted to try their cupcakes and I tried them for the first time the other day and had to come back to get more because they were super delicious. She looked at me but completely ignored me with no response back, and asked my sister what she wanted. It was extremely awkward. My sister and I never felt so uncomfortable before and felt unwanted. It just flat out rude. Reading some past reviews I know I’m not the only one. Having an employee makes customer feel like an inconvenience could lead to you not wanting to come back.5 star review for the cupcakes though. They are incredible. They are tiny but so so worth it.

I was sent on a recon mission to try these out ahead of time for a party. These are phenomenal cupcakes; moist, tasty, and beautifully executed. I tried the marionberry, snickerdoodle, chocolate hazelnut, and cookies and cream. All fantastic, and if held at gunpoint to pick a favorite I would probably say the snickerdoodle. Smaller than your standard cupcake, but still worth it 100%.Since the recon mission was a success, my mom will be getting these for my sisters baby shower!

Very delicious cupcakes with explosive flavor! The cupcakes here are small, but very meticulously crafted, and they look beautiful for it. This is probably one of the few places on earth that serves food that tastes as good as it looks.A star is removed however, for the wrappers on the cupcakes. The frosting on the top layer goes over the wrapper, making it not exactly a fun time trying to unwrap, and you may accidentally eat paper just because it ripped off inside.Even with this issue, though, I still highly recommend trying this place out if you have a sweet tooth!

The cupcakes are delicious, some more than others, and the staff is nice and friendly. I also absolutely love that they are bite size so you don’t feel stuffed after eating one. Now I have to try them all :) Try the carrot cake one, it’s simply divine!

Best cupcakes ever! We drove from WA for a small trip on way back I wanted to celebrate my wifes birthday in Portland. It was the best cupcake she ever had. It was so tasty. Would definitely visit again.

I found this cupcake on Google and wanted to try. I was so excited to go there. They have many cute mini cupcakes in different flavors available. The inside of the shop is kinda empty and reminds me of a commercial kitchen. The cashier was quite and didn’t either smile or greet when we entered, don’t even recall if she ever thanked us... We didn’t have a good impression of the service but overall we enjoyed the cupcakes.

This place has changed my perception of cupcakes and now all others pale in comparison. When I bit into a toadstool cupcake for the first time, I was transported into a different plane of existence. Cupcakes are tiny and overpriced. HOWEVER, these are the BEST cupcakes I’ve ever had in my life. Am I exaggerating? Nope. They are so good and delicious and perfect that I don’t feel bad about spending the money. They should be refrigerated before serving, so you can’t pack boxes and boxes and bring them back on a plane. I guess that’s a good thing for those without self control. Lol. We love toadstool cupcakes! The flavors they match up are awesome and they are so cute. We love getting the mini toadstool cupcakes whenever we go there so that we can have multiple bite size flavors. Definitely worth stopping in for a special treat there. These are not what you think of when you hear the word cupcake. They are SO much better! The cupcakes are small and rich with a higher ratio of ganache to cake. The ganache is surrounded in a shell resulting in a delightful texture explosion for your taste buds. One of my favorite places to go when we drive out to Portland.

DELICIOUS. These cupcakes were incredible! The marionberry actually moved my friend to tears upon trying it. If you havent tried these cupcakes, you absolutely have to! The cupcakes taste best when eaten in 1-2 bites for proper balance. Flavors are wonderful and the cupcakes themselves are just so cute!

The Boston Cream Pie tastes just like my Grandma Dots cream puffs. I last tasted one sometime in 2006, so having that exact flavor again was quite a delight. I cant wait to have the tiramisu and Key Lime again. As well as every chocolate flavor there. Cant recommend this shop enough.

Everything about this place was amazing. My older sister bought 6 of these for my birthday and had them delivered right to my door. The presentation of the Toadstools/cupcakes, and the box were so amazing, and the ganache inside the cupcakes was 5 stars as well. The social distancing at this point is a bit much and hopefully that changes soon. The cupcakes are incredible - although expensive at $3 for a two bite treat. In a last minute situation like I had tonight, I would but again.

Found this place on a rainy day (here? In Portland?!) and have made it a regular destination. Personally I love the marionberry flavor but they are all delicious! My kids know when we are in the neighborhood and it has become our thing. Great little spot. If you love somebody, bring them a few of these.

The cupcakes were delicious, but a bit spendy. Our main concern was that the online ordering system was a bit buggy. We tried to order twice, using the online system, and then had to call them to put in our order. The staff was very kind.We used curbside pick-up and that was great.

Also please bring back the m&m cupcake its like magic in my mouth. Everyone go support Toadstool so they get more money and can afford to come out to Florida so i can eat them everyday. I love these cupcakes more than most of my family members.

An assortment of 24 individual flavors all screaming to be tried. Unfortunately my belly could only fit 3 of these delicious cakes. They have a creamy top covered in frosting with a cake bottom. Recommend to stop and get as many as possible!

Amazing cupcakes. They aren’t like normal cupcakes. Instead they have a super moist cake bottom, a creamy topping (kind of icing like) and then a shell. There are a ton of flavors available for purchase at the shop.We tried the Rose, Key Lime (my favorite), Mocha (close second!), Peanut butter and chocolate, Carrot Cake, and Almond Marzipan.

Good cupcakes but there customer service skills suck. 2nd time going and won’t be returning.

I ordered 24 all-different flavored cupcakes from them for the first time this past weekend for a work event and I am SO glad I did. 1) Their online website is super cute and user-friendly. I ordered all 24 cupcakes online in under 5 minutes. No confusion, no hassle, no website issues at all. That includes the time it took to enter in my card info. 2) The presentation of the cupcakes was on point. They look exactly like how they look in the pictures on their website. Some places have great pictures, but the actual food ends up looking terrible in person, but not theirs. Its almost so cute you dont want to eat it. Hey, I said almost. Because 3) You will end up wanting to eat every single one of them. They taste AMAZING! My co-workers can be pretty picky, but every single one of them were raving about how good they were and giving me the O face as they bit into them. I had the Coconut Cream one and, seriously, it was everything I needed in my life at that moment. Not TOO sweet, but just sweet enough. And all the cream was right there on the top and into the center of the cupcake itself so it was like an explosion of happiness straight in your mouth with the first bite. I highly recommend them. Some of my co-workers get their cupcakes and cakes from Jacivas, but these for SURE rival theirs. Plus theyre a dollar cheaper. $3/cupcake vs. $4/cupcake. Just saying. :)

This place has found their niche and mastered it. Ive never personally been one for the cupcake craze. However this is an experience I reccomend to all the cupcakes are all darling the flavors are all perfectly balanced. The textures come together to really create what can only be the best cupcake you can buy especially for the small price of $3

Small enough that you can order a handful of flavors and not hate yourself for eating them all afterward (especially if you share the sweets with your sweety)!We grabbed four to go: tiramisu, snickerdoodle, salted caramel and carrot cake. Each was fantastic, with the cupcake bases themselves being light and fluffy, and the toadstool top of frosting being just the right amount for each morsel. The cream cheese frosting on the carrot cake was stand-out amazing, but each of them was a delight! I couldnt choose a favorite among them. Okay, maybe I can: snickerdoodle. Its a weakness!Each cupcake is $3, which may seem a little pricey for the size, but you definitely get what you pay for: quality and ecstasy in a couple of bites!

I highly recommend checking out Toadstool, even if (especially if?) you dont typically love cupcakes. Where most cupcakes fall behind (too sweet, dry, terrible frosting), these excel. They have the right amount of sweetness, theyre moist (the whipped cream topping is fantastic!), delicate, and come in a wide variety of interesting flavors. They have yet to disappoint!

This place is so silly good. The cupcakes are small, which is perfect for their decadence. The staff here is also so friendly. I bought a dozen for a party and was worried they would melt. The staff held them for me in their refrigerator while I finished running errands and let me come back for them. Really above and beyond customer service.PS. Literally everything on the menu I have tried has been amazing, I recommend getting one cupcake that you are drawn to, and then take a little adventure with the second one. 🤩
