The Blue Star Donuts at the PDX is just as good as the other locations in Portland based on my experience. I visited 15 minutes before closing and there were three options left. I chose the raspberry rose pistachio donut. It was filled with sweet and tart raspberry that paired well with the rose and pistachio. I would definitely come back in a heartbeat for any of their offerings.

Good staff and tasty donuts, many kinds of selection. Only complain is their donuts are pricy. All of them are more than $3.

Amazingly tasty donuts that will melt in your mouth. They cost more than the typical donut but have better quality ingredients and you can taste it. Portland airport location is temporarily closed though.

A well known, donut shop where one can grab something flavorful for breakfast. They have a decent selection of unique, gourmet donuts to choose from and most will be able to find something to tickle their fancy. In addition, coffee, bottled water, and other beverages are available for purchase.This location is in the unsecured section of PDX (before security) so all drinks will have to be consumed prior to proceeding to gates. Prices are also high but relative to the standard up charge of most airport purchases.

The donuts are an amazing variety with so many choices. The staff is kind and helpful in assisting you in what you want. They also have a good sense of humor.

Please dont waste your money. The donuts are always dry, flavorless or overly sweet and rich. There is rarely a happy medium. I have to wonder if its just this location. I have had a donut that was being transported from the bakery to another location and it was great! Unfortunately both times I have been to the airport location I have had to suffer or waste my food. Weve tried 5-7 flavors and Im sad to report there is nothing exciting here.

It was the best thing to find out there is a blue star in the airport.These are some tasty donuts. They are not airy donuts that are basically bread’s version of cotton candy, these are some real thick and hearty flavor full donuts. Every flavor I have tried has made me happy.Blue star may not come in a pink box, but they don’t need it.The guy behind the counter was also helpful with recommendations.

Easily my favorite donut shop in Portland. The raised and cake donuts have superb texture and flavor. The creative toppings are rich and decadent. Perfect spot to get one last taste of Portland before heading home.

Super friendly staff and amazing donuts!I have tried voodoo donuts in downtown Portland area and in my opinion blue star donuts are better. They may not be us big but they are testier and not full of oil. Perfect cheat meal that you won’t feel too guilty about.

These are really good donuts. Don’t worry about the calories just so you don’t eat one every day. There is a nice quiet space behind the shop where you can enjoy your treat.

Good location in the airport to grab a donut before or after your trip! Had an O.G. and a buttermilk, both excellent traditional donuts. Little drier than Im used to (type of dough they use), but great flavor and filling! Super friendly staff, prices are decent for a quick bite at the airport.

Tried the blueberry bourbon donut (vegan option) before catching a flight. The consistency of the cake dough was perfect and the flavour was on point. Would definitely try other flavours and other locations.

Service was great. This shop serves novelty flavors, so selection very different and more expensive than a neighborhood donut shop. Apple cider fritter I had was tasty, although I prefer less glaze.

Great for last-minute donuts at the airport. Go earlier for a much larger selection. Went at ~7 pm and they had 2 non-vegan and 2 vegan options left. This is before the security checkpoint and I had no problem going through with a box full of donuts.

Located before security by ABC gates and Panda Express. Nicest staff in the world, just darling. Local business, gourmet donuts made from scratch, no fake colors or artificial ingredients. Yeast donuts are brioche, so more pillow-y. Buttermilks to die for. Many vegan options but youd never know theyre vegan. Really good local coffee, can buy bags too. Get the Bacon Bourbon Fritter or the lemon curd filled, WOW

Just had my first Blue Star donut! I was not impressed! At all! Maybe the Apple Cider Fritter I had was sub-par to standard, but...it wasnt that remarkable. Unlike the sugar rush which was/is pretty out of this world...Ill give them another try another day, but I sure dont see why folks are so fond of them at this point.

Amazing selection of tasty donuts. The texture of the donuts are perfect and the flavors are distinct and unique but never overwhelming.

Loved the Chocolate ganache donut and the OG. Very yummy. However, this was at the airport location and I could tell it wasnt the freshest possible version. These donuts frsh are the bomb! Some very interesting flavors.

The doughnuts are great - no doubt about that! ...but theyre arent inexpensive. Granted most airport food costs a bit more, but fancy doughnuts like these are going to cost you.

Blue Star is great but really, really expensive for a donut. Its also not so mind blowing that its worth it. With that said Ill pay for it every once in a while but not very often. Blueberry basil bourbon is my favorite.

Not a donut person, until now. What heinous f*kry is this. Needed coffee and they had Stumptown so as Im waiting to buy coffee Im smelling the aromas of the different selections and my bionic nose is like...you must bring this closer. Ok, nose, you often do me a solid, I will get you one to bring close. So i buy one of the 8 possibilities that have enough interesting ingredients that nose would be happy. I almost bought the vegan mexi chocolate or the raspberry rosemary but I picked the Cointreau creme brulee before they told me I had better stop huffing the goods. Holy crud Batman... light orange flower scent and flavor in the incredibly well made custard interior. A brioche style dough with a crunchy- brule crackle on the outside. Guess there are donuts for me.. Why g*d do you forsake me with one more tasty thing to avoid?? The staff at the airport location PDX are really nice.

Wow! Im not a doughnut lover, but everyone told me i had to go to Blue Star when I go to Portland. So, I find myself at PDX on National Doughnut Day, so....what the hell. OMG it was amazing!! I had the Raspberry Rosemary - the glaze is a beautiful dark pink and tastes like fresh raspberries with just a hint of rosemary. I now want to try them all. Only downside is that its 9:30AM and over half were already sold out. Get there early.

Very easy ordering with samples of all the Donuts in the case with descriptions and prices so you arent wondering and by the time you get to register you are ready to order, and they put the whole box together with a handle! Everyone on the plane next to me was jealous

I went to blue star again this morning. And there is this woman in front of me that looks like she cant decide what she wants so I made her a few recommendations and she bought a couple doughnuts. After she payed and left the lady behind the counter asked me what she could get me. And she handed me my doughnuts and said have a great day. So I got free doughnuts. I asked her why and she said because we love people like you. That just put a huge smile on my face. So if your ever in PDX stop by blue star doughnuts they are the greatest.
