I love Handiwork! It is a warm, welcoming, and a fun place to browse if you have a few extra minutes The selection of local makers is amazing and it feels so good to be able to buy birthday, holiday or any day presents made by folks living in your own backyard. Jessica keeps the selection new and fun and her witty personality and bright smile (even a masked one) makes it such a wonderful place to visit! Go to there!!

Such a cute store! Bought several unique outdoor things to play with at our camp. I placed the order online and swung by later that day to pick it up- so easy!

The fact that I have not spent all my money at Handiwork is a small miracle. There are so many fun items, across all categories. Need something to add a splash of color to your house. You can find that. Looking for a shirt that represents Maine/Portland/Deering Center? You can find that. Need to get a gift for a kids birthday party? Done. Looking for some local art. Bam! Thats just a sampling of what you can find. A small space packed with great, imaginative, and unique gifts, crafts and items. Jessica has put together a great shop and at some point, I hope to attend a class as well. Handiwork has been a great addition to the community and is well worth a visit!

I love the curated inventory and focus on locally made products. Ive been in a couple of times and have always left with something I love -- either myself or to give as a gift.

Nice locally owned shop specializing in handcrafted items - eclectic and evolving mix of clothing, games, decor items, useful/decorative household items, jewelry, books, craft/DIY supplies, etc. Will be offering classes once COVID eases up.

This place is a Portland treasure! My go-to for unique gifts, locally made t-shirts, and sassy DIY merch. So much cute stuff that I want to just hang out and soak it in all day. She offers classes, too!
