Tom Heintz was tremendous in helping me research some material for a mutual client. I had already made arrangements to purchase the materials through another company but Tom went out of his way to get the information I needed from a project that ran through them in 2018 and ensure the best outcome for our shared client. Exceptional service!

Had an insurance claim, worked with a large company who subcontracted this flooring company. Initial meet was great, the two men I met were friendly and showed me samples of the material I wanted in the color I preferred.Apparently, they subcontract their installers. The installers arrived, no introduction to who they were and if we didnt have the project manager being our communicator between us and them, we wouldnt have known why they were knocking at our door. The installers did great work, the floor is beautiful. However, during their install they felt it necessary to shut off all of our breakers. Without warning. They turned them back on quickly, and so I let it slide. Unfortunately, it turned out that not enough floor planks were ordered. Stuff happens, I get it not a big deal. I let it slide. They urgently order new planks. The new planks arrive, but unfortunately they come to us and they are damaged. Stuff happens, not a big deal I let it slide. They left all the damaged boards and trash. Theyll be back, not a big deal, I let it slide.Another order urgently placed for new planks, ETA before the weekend... The day comes, they email the project manager we lost the planks in our own warehouse - maybe they were accidentally taken to a different job?. I am furious. But understanding. Stuff happens. Not a big deal, let it slide.Today we finally got our planks. They finally came to finish installation. Again, no introduction. Just open the garage and they get to work. Whatever. We are tired of waiting. Ive been sleeping on a floor for months, gritting teeth to make it through the final installation so I can have a bed again. We let it slide. My son started his first day of school today, online. During his lunch hang out with other students - they shut off every single breaker. Why? Their saw was having issues. We were furious. We let them know we were furious and demanded the breakers be turned back on immediately - unfortunately unkindly. The breakers were back on. We decided this company would not be one to work with in the future, ever again. Project manager informs us they are a subcontractor for Trinity Flooring. We plan to call and make a complaint. And then they finished the floors, and left. Without informing anyone. Thermostat app was not working, went downstairs to investigate. Found the installers were gone. Found they left all doors open, all lights on, trash and broken floor planks, and worst of all they shut off half of our breakers.I have zero doubt this was done intentionally and maliciously. Any company that will subcontract such subpar people is not worth my dime. I had considered them to work on my floors upstairs once the insurance claim was completed for downstairs, but Ive decided my own pocket money will go elsewhere. Extremely unfortunate. The floors are lovely, beautifully installed. The humans installing were not.

We recently had approximately 450 sq ft of carpeting installed due to nicotine damage from the previous owner. The instillation workers were in a huge rush to get out the the door so I skipped the walk through. I later regretted this because there were parts of my foundation showing along the seams of the carpet. From across the room in several areas you could see the concrete below. A closer examination of the areas revealed that one could physically touch the foundation.Upon further inspection there were chunks of my door missing. There were also noticeably large pieces of wood missing from our kitchen island that meets the carpet. In addition, they damaged various parts of my trim which is part of the job according to everyone I spoke with from the company. What I found alarming was that they had written this damage into the contract that you sign. So now any damage due to installation is covered under this contract no matter how big. I understand little nicks and scratches from tacking in the carpet but there were large gouges in the wood which made me question why they didnt remove the trims before carpeting. The person in charge of scheduling my instillation and taking measurements liked to communicate primarily though text messaging but there were several occurrences where a phone call would not only be more professional but the correct course of action. After the instillation I had this overwhelming stress due to the fact that I had paid in full, a poor job had been done, and now I could not get in contact with my project manager. After several hours I finally got a response back via text. I really wanted the peace of mind that the issues with the carpet could be corrected but instead received a message stating It is better to talk in person about it which to me translates into This can wait until tomorrow.Really the only saving grace about this company was how quickly they were able to return and do a walk through as well as assess the damage. We were scheduled to be repaired the next day but not without arguments about padding. We had a much larger budget planned for this job so every time that padding was brought up I inquired why I was not charged correctly for extra padding to compensate the difference in carpeting. They sent the installers that came out originally. Which I understand, especially if theyre working off commission. Ive had a lot of contractors in my home recently due to the nicotine restoration project. Ive never had anyone just ignore the state mandate for wearing a mask AS WELL as ignore social distancing. Because of the job being done incorrectly I had now had several people inside my home, half of them refusing to wear masks, in the middle of a pandemic. I would not be getting this work done unless it was absolutely necessary that the nicotine soaked carpeting be removed from our home as quickly as possible.Immediately when the lead installer entered my home, he was disrespectful and angry towards me. He told me that there was nothing to correct and that he couldnt fix it. It was frustrating but not surprising to find that his attitude completely changed when my husband took over the conversation. He was suddenly agreeable and more than willing to make the corrections. They finished and left within 25 minutes and we were able to move on with our life. There has still been no talk of compensation with the literal chunks missing out of my door and kitchen island. Based on my experience described above I am utterly shocked that the reviews are so high for this company.

Our overall experience was skewed negatively mainly because of the sales rep we had. Of which the owner had emailed me later on was no longer there and to follow up. That rep was a very nice person but he just didn’t exude an air of confidence, which is something important when you’ll be investing a lot into a whole new lower floor. And a few things he told us when he came to our house to take measurements didn’t jibe with what a licensed contractor correctly stated. The upside is that Trinity offers countertops as well as flooring. But we never felt a comfortable atmosphere when we were in the showroom (from any of the workers) and so have since found a fantastic local company to meet our needs.

We went with Trinity for our cellular/honeycomb shades after working with them for our tile and flooring selections. Joel was so friendly and very informative and helpful through the entire process. I very much appreciated how accessible he was and was impressed with the wide selection of options for cellular/honeycomb shades. Everything was handled in a timely manner to ensure our shades were delivered and set up for install by the time our house was ready. Joel kept in contact with me throughout the process letting me know when our order arrived, was available to assist with any rescheduling needs that came up, and provided great follow up after the install. Our installer arrived on time as promised and was in and out in a flash. Best part of all was that the price point was fair and reasonable and our shades look amazing. I’m glad we chose to go with Trinity for our shades.

We hired Trinity to remove carpeting and install laminate flooring throughout the main level of our home, and to install vinyl in all of our bathrooms. Tom H. provided excellent customer service throughout the whole process, from our first contact late last year through finally completing the project (postponed due to the pandemic). Trinitys bid for the project was competitive with other bids received. We were probably more anxious about this project than the typical homeowner (due to a negative experience with a contractor in the past), and Tom was very patient with our many questions and concerns. When we went to the Trinity showroom to look at different flooring options, again he was patient, he provided helpful information, and most importantly, he didnt push us to make a choice we werent sure about. Nicole was very helpful with scheduling the project at a time that worked for us. The sub-contracted installer showed up on time, worked efficiently, cleaned up, and we are pleased with the work they did. Tom did a walk through the day of the installation to confirm that the installer had all the information and materials needed, and then did a walk through after the project was completed to ensure it was all in order. There were a few small pieces that had to be ordered and installed two weeks later. Trinity stayed on top of that--it did not drag out--it was done as soon as the materials arrived. All in all, we are very pleased with our new flooring. We recommend Trinity Flooring, and in particular, working with Tom.

Trinity flooring was the company our home builder used for the flooring, countertops, tiling, etc in our new home. They did a fantastic job the first time around so we chose to hire them again to add in a matching granite countertop on some cabinet additions we installed ourselves. They did a fantastic job and were professional and friendly to work with. The contractors they chose were also pleasant and professional. We will recommend them to all our friends and neighbors!Joe was my contact and I got to speak with Kelly multiple times. They were both kind, friendly, professional, and very helpful! Great experience overall!

Working with Trinity was a pleasure. Tom took care of our needs and when we had a snag, he personally came to our office and helped us move furniture before the carpet installers arrived. The bid came in fair, and they were the most responsive of any company we asked to bid our project. We are very happy with the way our carpet turned out and the service we received was great!

Had a reasonably complicated hardwood floor job. Extended existing (15 year old red oak floors) hardwood into family room that used to have carpet.. This entailed weaving new floors into existing as well as staining and refinishing.. You cannot tell that the house was not built with these floors.. Absolutely seamless... AMAZING result. Nick Crawford was very straightforward and honest throughout bidding, planning and the execution. Richard retucked carpet at the threshold PERFECTLY.. Cannot say enough about Tony and his hardwood crew.. I am a developer and Trinity simply knocked it out of the park.. 10 STARS!!

I say 3, but thats only because 2.5 stars is not available. There were aspects of our remodel where I think they were strong. For example, the tile work was largely exceptional. We are happy with our new master bathroom and shower. With that said, their response time for any repairs is beyond sluggish, and it was difficult to get them to commit to any dates even weeks in advance. We had floor work to be finalized that took them months to complete. They waited until the last minute for everything, which is unfortunate as we invested quite a bit into the total floor remodel. What should have been completed in March was not finished until late April, and that took a number of calls to prod them to do it. We also recently followed up due to some questionable spots in the vinyl plank flooring and berber carpet, and it has been radio silence since that time. There just isnt a lot of follow up effort to make the repairs or work with us. It just seems as though they are inconsistent at best.

The company is Trinity Flooring but, they do windows also! Joel Martin from Trinity did an outstanding job helping us through the process of choosing and installation of shutters for 17 windows for our newly constructed home in the Portland area. We could not be happier with the final outcome and Joel was incredibly patient helping us work through our decision making process and in taking a personal interest in our home and the outcome of the job and making sure that we were completely satisfied. We would recommend Trinity and Joel without hesitation - We know from personal experience that they do a fantastic job on floors as well!

Their selection of high quality materials is extensive and they have something for every style of home. I LOVE my home now, when we started I was, shall we just say, not in love. My experience with Trinity Flooring was amazing. My first project was hardwood floor replacement and we were so impressed we had them install the tile in our bathroom remodel and kitchen. Our counter tops will be installed next week and we couldnt be happier. Their pricing was super competitive and their design staff helped us so much in selection and managing our projects. These folks know their business and value their customers. Fantastic !!!**** 07/26/17 - Here we are 3 years later - new house and I came back to Trinity because of their customer commitment and quality. But what I really value is their project management - building a new house is so stressful because there is just so much to do.We needed custom granite counter tops, hardwood floors, carpeting, tile, window coverings and a special vinyl in our garage. The Trinity staff took us from our design plans, to top quality selections, and the most carefree professional product installations of our entire home. We were under budget and ahead of schedule - just incredible how they managed to do that.We love the mosaic in our kitchen and the bench seats in our showers - but our motorized shutters and custom blinds rock!Thank you Trinity for setting the standard in quality and caring - you made our house a home.

Hunter DouglasI’d like to commend Hunter Douglas for standing behind their warranty.I had a sky light window shade that became defective, and after calling their service they told me I’d have to work with the franchise that sold them to me. I have a total of 20 other Hunter Douglas shade in my home. Well that company was out of business so they gave me the phone number of another local company (Trinity flooring) that sells Hunter Douglas window shades. Trinity flooring was absolutely professional and courteous to me. I came in contact with the Joel Martin who is the representative for Hunter Douglas. Joel went out of his way in helping me with my warranty claim. He had no obligation to do what he did, but my hat is off to him for all that he has done. I thank him very much. When the carpet arrived, Moises team of installers (owner of Clean Edge Flooring) was on time and helpful with moving furniture. They cleaned up as they installed, they explained the process as they moved from room to room, and they finished in record time.
