If you havent been to this place in half a year youll be suprised that it is no longer the same place. It is now as stocked as they can be even with all the delivery shortages going on. The new owners are incredibly friendly and have made the place a great addition to the neighborhood.

I’ve been here in the past and I really didn’t have much to say about it. The store didn’t feel complete nor did it have full shelves of product. Today was a sunny day and my girlfriend and myself took a drive and wanted something cold to drink. When we walked in we were greeted with smiling faces and reggae music and full shelves! The smiling faces were a married couple that just took over the store they were extremely nice and welcoming. Definitely a great addition to the neighborhood.

The new owner is great! He and his family have a lot of stuff and the store looks amazing I would recommend it to anyone in our neighborhood or anywhere.

This store is under new ownership and management and got a total makeover! The store has way more product now and has all my favorite wines, snacks and groceries. I’m so excited and can’t wait to go back again!

Great customer service with a unique selection.

I called ahead of time to ask if a specific item was in stock, giving excessive amount of detail and telling them to look in the fridge, as its not a shelf stable product. The worker told me they had it. I walked over, and it was not there. Apparently, they had told me about a product on the shelf, so clearly they didnt check the fridge or listen to my request. Being on public transit/on foot, this threw off my planning by a lot since the big box store I was considering (that I knew would have the product) was the exact opposite direction. I only went here because I wanted to support a small business. What was supposed to be a 30 minute trip ended up taking over 90 minutes since I had try somewhere else.Had they just told me they didnt have it, I could have had a short trip to another store, and I would have come to this store another time to support them by buying other products.Perhaps they told me wrong to try and get me in the store, hoping Id buy something else while there. Awful business strategy!

I feel like the management must have changed or something because my experiences since moving to the neighborhood 6 months ago have been all positive. Im forgetting the guys name who always works the counter (at least at night), and I feel bad about that because hes super nice and deserves me remembering his name! Anyway, a good spot. Also, it has a little bit wider selection than your average corner shop as well, which is a nice bonus.

Amazing people. I love coming in to see their smiling faces! Some items may cost a little more then usual. What do you expect? You open a buisness and compete with huge corporate Mongols. Support small business! Support local! Support life!

Back by unpopular demand is the creepy guy that feels he needs to give every women that comes into the store his number. As a neighborhood convenience store it should be a safe place for locals to pick up their odds and ends, but when I see this guys car in the parking lot I turn around. Im sure Im not the only business their loosing. The last time he worked there plenty of in appropriate interactions were documented and we finally thought it was over. Turns out he is related to somebody that works there and has made his way back in regardless of everything hes done. I advise you all to steer clear.

Your local corner store. Buy local, support local.

Known to overcharge you then kick you out if you dont want the overpriced product. Wont even give your money back without calling cops. To be fair it comes down to bad management not the owner.

Ive been here a few times as I live in the neighborhood. Most recently, I pulled up a few minutes before closing, the lights were still on and the Open sign was lit up. As I was approaching the door, the clerk literally ran from behind his counter to lock the door right before I reached it. I was kind of shocked that someone would blatantly treat a customer like that during open hours. I stood there for a moment and realized that, yes that actually just happened. I didnt knock or anything, but it was clear this person was content just standing there watching me walk back to my car at his doorway. Like I said, Ive been here before and live in the neighborhood, on other occasions Ive definitely seen Dollar Tree cellphone car chargers being sold for a 300% markup, as well as other really overpriced things. Im happy paying more for not leaving my own neighborhood, but Ive also overheard not so pleasant exchanges with other customers. This last experience ensured I wont be back and will tell all my friends and neighbors that this place is terrible, even if its local. Locally doesnt mean passable customer service unfortunately!

I just moved here a few blocks away. Really liked the black guy with the accent. I was beginning to come here more often for the service.. Until my girlfriend and I tried to come in 5 minutes before they close just to grab a snack before going home for the night. The ass hole with the pony tail and beard didnt really want our business I guess. He knew he closed early and turned away business. NOT COOL. Especially when I was just starting to become a patron(LOYAL CUSTOMER). Blaim the young guy with a pony tail and beard.

Not sure what these cry babies are talking about, the staff here is very friendly and personable!
