Prices are high, but it is a convenient store. The main issue with this place is that you could get there at 9:30 when they open at 9, and no one is there yet. This has happened to me more than once. Theyre unreliable on store hours.

Quick stop by from the Chinese Gardens for some emergency supplies. Prices are marked up high considerably, even for a convenience store. Got what we needed with minimal fuss.

I was harassed here for not having an ID that matched my debit card. Im trans, and guess what? First you have to change your legal name, then you have to change your photo ID, then you have to get proof of that to your bank and wait for them to issue new cards. They were extremely gross to me about it, claiming I wasnt who I said I was, etc. All I wanted was to buy $5 of snacks.

It’s rough, keep your eyes open and your guard up. Pick up a 4 pack of Old German beer and hit the streets with the other lunatics out front

Attractive nuisance, lots of bums hanging out in front do to malt liquor sales

Rough part of town but a surprisingly sweet owner. Selection, is poor but the owner is very patient given the level of local crazy.
