At first glance, the food seemed well packaged but it was disassembled when I opened the box. The eggs Benedict were pretty good. The hollandaise sauce was a little runny and a little bland but the dish altogether wasn’t bad. The potatoes…were potatoes. They were cooked well and seasoned; my personal preference is a little crispier and saltier. The French toast was interesting. It had strawberry cream cheese in the middle, but because it was so thin the texture was a little off for me. The syrup flavor was nice and light but very runny. It was a solid meal overall and it’s always nice when I don’t have to cook.

Thought Id stop in at a near by local breakfast place in the village.. Usually go to Fat City, But Decided to check out, Down to Earth.Fresh local pastries are displayed. With a middle eastern feel..... Clean yet small.. Friendly Service.. Prices are reasonable. They offer Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten Free produce. As well as Organic.Started my meal with a very large memosas. That I must say was made very well😊. Then there was the delicious Down to earth French Toast, from their Sweet Eats. Section of the menu. There presentation of the food is not only beautiful its yummy. Everything was on point...Ill be back

What a lovely place to venture out to on such a rainy Portland day. Brunch was perfect in this charming little place. It may seem like tight sitting area but it is still warm and welcoming. Even when you are eating you can over hear cute conversations. For example: Person 1: I wonder if that is a picture of the original owner? Person 2: That painting? Person 1: Yeah, I think it could be the owner. Person 2: Thats a Van Gogh painting, dear. Person 1: Oh! 🤯

My favorites are their breakfast sandwiches and paninis. Fantastic waffles as well. Had the hamburgers: plain, mushroom, and bacon...2 with a soup, 1 with chips. Gotta say it was just plain food served very well. The hamburger meat itself, though, really raised the bar-- very fresh, flavorful, tender and juicy. The was very nice quality, I just prefer a little more seasoned. The smoothies we had were a perfect blend of fruits in a perfect creamy smoothness. Mot watered down or weak. Great friendly, quick, service.

If you have food allergies DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE; I called ahead to order and specified NO CHEESE & NO SAUCE on my falafel- I was clear & have to be because Im highly allergic to milk, they even repeated my request back to me- then we picked it up & drove all the way home. I opened my take out box to find my falafel doused in sauce and cheese. They were not busy. There were two people working at the time. There should be ZERO excuse for this- but when I called all I got was, uh sorry. Horrible customer service.WE WONT BE BACK.

I liked that we were able to support a local, POC business. The food was very good, but the portion size was disappointing; quite small. We ordered breakfast mid morning on a Saturday and expected a plate full. We had to order take out and the portion size didnt even cover the bottom of the take out box. That was the only disappointment.

This is a review for a take out order I received. The food itself was pretty good! But I had ordered a latte and online, there were no options for sizes. But it was almost $4 so I just assumed it would be at least a 12 oz. But no. It came in an 8 oz cup but was literally only half full. So basically $4 for 4 oz of latte. I will say, it tasted great but truly a rip off for size.

Truly poor service. We sat outside and waited for twenty minutes, watching multiple open tables. Incredibly, a group showed up and was immediately seated. They seemed to have some sort of relationship with the owners, so they didnt mind jumping us in line. Two parties ahead of us left disgusted after seeing this, unable to wait any longer. We were finally seated, but water and menus were at least ten minutes awayThe food came out lukewarm, and definitely was not enough to excuse the piss poor service. Avoid at all costs.

Review №33

I went here for breakfast with my daughter and felt that we were ignored and disrespected at every turn. For starters we were rudely told to go wait outside in the cold for our table. When we were finally seated, I couldn’t even squeeze through the tiny openings between table sideways without bumping into the person at the next table. Our table was completely unsteady and the drinks were spilling. You’re literally pushed right up against other people on either side of you, so there is zero privacy in conversations. They took our drink order and then forgot about it. And came back 10 minutes later to ask again if we wanted to order drinks. When they finally took our food order, I asked to sub avocado for sour cream, she said “sure I’ll ask, but that should work.” When my food came, there were 3 minuscule slices of avocado and no sour cream. She said “by the way that’s an extra charge”. Which was news to me. If I would have known ahead of time, I wouldn’t have spent the money on avocado. It was literally maybe 1/6 of a small avocado! Next, we had to ask 3 different times for a refill on coffee. And my water glass was empty half of the time I was there. In summary, the service was TERRIBLE. At the end the guy asked if everything had been okay and I said “actually no it wasn’t.” He just shrugged and walked away like it was no big deal. I do not recommend this place! The food was marginal at best on top of the terrible service.
