DJ answered the phone and his service game was on point. Drove down to the store 20min later and met with DJ and he helped outfit my family for some photos we were having done the following week. Passing through not enough retail product that actually says Portland Oregon, didnt want something with just the letter P on it. No variety of colors.The guy that helped was very nice and friendly, he did manage to find a shirt with the saying of Portland Oregon on it...kinda of what I wanted.With no where else in town to purchase a souvenir I had no choice, I purchased 2 shirts. The store was very clean I liked that and customer service was great.If Im ever back in Portland I will visit again. Thanks.

Hands down the best, non-touristy gear I’ve seen in any major city. We stopped in after finding this brand on Instagram and it did not disappoint! We loaded up with a couple bags full of gear and had the best customer service from Zack. Their designs are original and minimalist, perfect for the current trends. Highly recommend!!!
We moved to Portland right before COVID & were told about Portland Gear. Weve been meaning to go into the downtown location but lucky for us the Portland Gear bus was at Washington Square! Kenzie was so amazing and gave my crazy kids some stickers in cute little bags and gave me some recommendations for date night with my husband this weekend (first weekend out in the city!) We will definitely make visiting the downtown location as part of our date night!

I do not normally leave reviews as much as I should, but I love Portland Gear so much that I have to share. Our families have been buying and wearing Portland gear for years and we absolutely love the styles, comfort, and durability of their products. Both myself and my husband have several Portland gear items that we wear on a consistent basis and always receive compliments. My favorite is my throwback 90’s “P” crewneck! Portland gear is not only a trendy and cool place to buy products, but they are very involved with the community and do not sell products on big sites such as Amazon. They truly represent the best aspects of our city.Most importantly though, in my experience they are 100% customer support and customer relations driven. Recently, I had a question on an order where I did not receive a discount code I thought I could use. My email was responded to and resolved within 12 hours by the head of operations, Eli. He was not only helpful, but also friendly and warm in his communications. This is the only “issue” (if you can even call it that) I’ve ever had with an order, and it was responded to immediately and fixed. I could not ask or imagine that level of support from a box store or corporation, or even some smaller businesses especially during the holiday season. Thank you Portland Gear, you are amazing; and we are excited to keep repping our gear for years and years to come!

The people behind the teal bags and iconic logo represent the creativity, audacity, and devotion of the city. Born and raised in Portland, the city and everything it stands for, is dear to my heart. I haven’t found a way to put it into words, but now I can wear it. The first time I visited Portland Gear at their flagship across from Providence Park, I felt like the whole city was greeting me and inviting me to embrace what made myself and my city unique… plus I looked the part walking out with my burgundy P cap and gray Portland hoodie. If this sounds cheesy or dramatic, it’s probably because you haven’t truly experienced the Portland magic yet. Portland Gear happens to have their own little version of this magic of on tap!

Came to the Portland Gear Bus at Washington Square and Kenzie was an all star. It was very busy and she had a line but she was very calm under pressure. She had a lot going on around her but still had a smile on her face (through the mask-which she sold us on). Excited to see Kenzie next time we shop.

Cool spot for Portland themed street wear. They have a great selection of hats and a decent selection of graphic t shirts and hoodies. They round out their selection with a few knick nacks like keychains, stickers, coasters, and sometimes hydro flasks. Decent spot to get a gift for a native or anyone traveling through Portland
Met Kenzie at the Portland Night Market this last holiday! I feel like she is literally at every Portland event with a smile on her face. She helped me figure out gift for my family and even offered free shipping to my family who live out of town! Made my holiday shopping experience 10/10!
I invested in a Portland Gear Sherpa, after all my co-workers were talking about them. The first time I donned said Sherpa, I was engulfed in a sea of fluffy softness beyond comprehension. It was my first and FAVORITE Portland Gear product that I have purchased! They have good quality products(hats, sweaters, and shirts are my favorite), for a reasonable price. They gave us advice to go and see. I am not normally one to leave reviews but this is an exception. As I have frequented Portland Gear‘s Burnside store for many years now during seasonal/limited edition releases I have developed great relationships. Kenzie their salesgirl is an omnipresent beacon of great service and thoughtfulness! I cannot say enough. As for my most recent purchase ( a waterproof backpack ) i have been nothing but impressed. I was doing my covid/apocalypse shopping and it easily carried 6 bottles of wine and groceries. It is comfortable and durable. I highly recommend!!

This place has become a new tradition every time I am in Portland. Their products are super nice and well worth the price. The first time I went, they were all super welcoming and I was able to meet the whole team (all extremely nice people by the way). Every time I have been back, I get the same vibes. Kenzie and Ellis are two of my favorite people that work there, just such pleasant people; so down to earth and chill. Having started from an Instagram page (@portland) a couple years before, it’s been inspiring seeing this shop turn into what it is today. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by one of the welcoming, warm, smiling employees. The team is comprised of only a few people, and each one makes sure to get to know you in a personal manner. You as the customer are always prioritized, and it never feels like they’re only interested in what’s in your wallet. The products are all of the highest quality possible. At affordable prices, Portland Gear has created a brand identity that both locals and visitors wear constantly. It’s almost impossible to walk around Portland and not see one of their iconic “P” caps. All in all, the Portland Gear experience will always be a memorable one. I find myself visiting time and time again just to chat with the owner or the employees. Do not leave Portland without visiting Portland Gear.

My experience at this store and with this company has always been 10/10! All of the employees are so relatable and friendly, without ever seeming pushy about product. Portland Gear recently had their store grand opening. The space is really nice, and the store layout is great. I been a fan of Portland Gear for a while, and Its great to see that they are growing. The quality of the clothes sold here is excellent. The items you find here are great for everyday wear or even to give as a gift to someone you know that love Portland. They also make for great souvenirs if you are just visiting.
Portland Gear has a cool brand and some decent concepts but thats where the good ends.Here is the worst part. They have been flat out lying to Portland about where the products are made in order to seem local. Most understand that not all businesses can source product in the USA due to costs, but a company should not lie to the public. Until recently their website said all their products were designed and made in Oregon! That is not PORTLAND to lie. For instance the P Snapback hats are made in Bangladesh by YP, and then customized (The P is put on) maybe in Oregon, well maybe not. They took that off their website too. No longer designed in Oregon, No longer Made in Oregon. Hmmmm....One star for lack of ethics
I had forgotten to enter a promo code on an internet order. I called the next day and asked if they could apply it and the girl I spoke to said most definitely she would. She was so kind. No sooner had I hung up, I received a confirmation email. Awesome customer service!!

Visited from Minnesota and had a exchange from something I bought online, it was a breeze! Store looked great and the guy working made us feel very welcome and even emailed us a page of things to see in Portland. Bought the leash and he hooked us up with some dog treats for our pup back home. I wish I got his name because he really was awesome at customer service!
