The store is almost always clean the staff is very helpful. This is the first time I have been here since the pandemic I think things are a little slower than they used to be. I dont know if it is because they are trying to keep the number of people down or they are short on staff. But the quality of service is still the same. I was able to pick up some nice pullovers and a jacket for a reasonable price.

I love being able to shop here. If I can’t find my size, I go online on the computers they provide, order it and I get free shipping! It’s a great deal for Sorel boots. I’ve always had friendly service as well.

Went to the employee store for the first time today …. Got this jacket $78.00When checking out they wouldn’t accept our $20 e-gift card for prior Columbia purchases, citing that they already “had such deep discounts “ so they don’t accept Columbia rewardsPoints .Ok - fair enough - bought the jacket and left.Drove immediately 20 min away to the Columbia outlet store. Same jacket $69 ($9 less ) AND they accepted our $20 rewards coupon . $49 total.Drove back and Returned the original to the employee store .The outlet store is MUCH cheaper . Don’t waste your time at the employee store . I’m so glad we checked both places !

Quality products at good prices. if you can get a pass, its worth a go.

This place was really awesome when I checked it out this afternoon. Tons of inventory available plus you have the ability to order online at the discounted rate to access more sizes. All the staff was super friendly as well even though it was extremely busy. I recommend going at off hours to avoid the crowds!

Love shopping at this store, arrows clearly marked to suggest flow of foot traffic. Physical distancing practiced for most customers and staff do their best to remind customers.Merchandise is what you would expect from Columbia, shoes have expanded selection and love the options.

This is not a discount outlet; this isn’t even an “employee discount” store. Isn’t the idea behind a “employee store” that customers get “employee” pricing? I would be very, very, very surprised if employees are paying the same as the rest of us here. I saw a typical Mountain Hardware puffer coat for over $350. Since when did “Mountain Hardware” go upscale? We’re basically paying retail. No only that, they make you do this silly “pass” & ID check-in process to make you think you’re getting some kind of exclusive access. What a joke! I’ll be shopping at the local Columbia Outlet from now on and save time, money, and gas.

Shopping at the Columbia Sportswear Company Employee Store is one of my favorite holiday traditions! The workers are polite and helpful, the prices great and selection fun to choose from. At this COVID time the store was well managed and felt very safe.

Not what it used to be. Most items now at 35% off list price. Used to be 50% off list for most items. Many items not in stock in M and L. Better deals and stock can be found elsewhere

Big store that requires an entrance pass (not open to general public). A good variety of items, but not always a good variety of sizes. I could not find any pants in my size (very average size) especially on the sale items. The prices were not always a bargain. A fun experience, but hit or miss for getting what you want.

They sure have nice clothes there! I spent 300 dollars on a nice coat and that was on sale! I definitely will be going back

The store sometimes opens to invites, which allows non-employees to get in on some of the great deals. Its got all sorts of clothing for outdoors, for men, women and children. It was a bit disappointing that they didnt have my favorite Prana pants in stock the last 2 times I went, and the womens soft shells were thinner than the mens, and didnt have much variety to choose from

We love the customer support at this place, they truly work as one team! PABLO especially is amazing. He immediately helped us find an item we tried on the day before that we couldnt find on the floor and he was so willing to please us and ended up finding it. I enjoy coming to the Columbia employee store, you do need a pass to get in or if you made an online purchase and need return. Check out is always speedy and everyone is always polite and friendly.

This is a great store but even tho the selection is great. The clothes are still expensive. It would be nice to have a senior discount. Also if you are a veteran you can do at the employee store. I marked it a 4 star because of the prices. Employees are very helpful and friendly.

Of course masks are required as well as the 6-Feet Social Distancing rule, which is made easy with marks on the floor.I have always loved Columbia products throughout the years. In fact a ski coat I bought many many years ago served me faithfully for well over a decade.So I was thrilled when my company sent me an invite to shop at the Columbia Sportswear Company Employee Store on NW Science Park Drive.So we visited and found such a great selection of different brands and different types of clothes and footwear.ALL of the staff is by far the friendliest and most helpful.

I was pretty disappointed with this entire experience. I spoke with an employee at the store about the pricing. She said everything was already 40 to 50% off. I would Google some of their products and find other items cheaper. Not Amazon or Ebay, Im talking about prices that are cheaper on their official website. One of the tents in the store was $350. I looked at their website and it says its being sold for $430. So if everything is 40 to 50% off, why charge me $350 for it? I was a huge fan of Columbia, but after being misled and lied to, I feel as if I should make my way to Patagonia. The only reason why I gave this a 2 star instead of one is that I left with one product which is a 3 pack boxer brief. Sadly, this may be my last Columbia purchase.

This is a marketing scam! Offered a 30% discount through my employer with a barcode. Got to the register and the 30% is already marked down on all the items. What you see is what you pay. What a big letdown and a total waste of time! There is an automated response to bad reviews and I contacted them. I will update this review if they contact me, but I doubt anyone at the company is actually following up with customers.

Our check in attendant was so cheery and helpful. I did not have my shipping receipt so the check out person helped me find an email confirmation for return. We purchased several great new items for summer and enjoyed seeing new products. Thank you!

Amazing staff that will help you to find the gear that you need for the activities do you want to do. High quality gear at amazing prices! You just have to find somebody that can give you a pass to get in. I definitely recommend Columbia sportswear, Mountain Hardwear gear, Sorel, and Montero shoes. All great gear with great warranties! Get outside and play, and do it in comfort. There’s no bad weather just bad clothing choices :-)

Ok. Youre not saving $ head over heels, but I had maybe 1/3 savings. I find as a heavy set person, sizes run smallish, & tops run short which, on a smaller person look great, butt....

Big store, lots of inventory.Closure of fitting rooms makes no sense, you are forced to purchase items and try them on at home, then return, possibly more than once. One can only imagine what someones home is like!

Always a great experience coming here. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. If someone doesnt have an answer theyre quick to find someone that does. The gear is top notch as well, Ive taken jackets up the ski hill or out into the wild and have never been disappointed.

I love this place. We get a pass a couple times a year and its always fun. They have tons of Columbia gear of course, but also Sorel, Mountain Hardware and Prana. Even with discounts its easy to spend hundreds.

Went there first time in January 2020.This was mostly a clothing store compared to Nike and Adidas where they try to sell more shoes in my opinion.The reason for one star less is several reasons.One. Almost zero staff to help or ask questions. I think I saw 4 throughout the whole story. Mind you, I looked in mens section, then in womens section for my wife and kids section.Two. Why stock 90% of the shelf with sizes 7-8.5?Terrible. Was gonna buy some sorrells but was more of a hassle. I understand there are computers to look up sizes but if I wanted to use a computer Id shop online in the first place.Three. Not everything is 50% off. Some were more. Some were less. Then like 85% of store had an additional 20% off for winter stuff. But some sweaters werent. Wasnt as intuitive.Four. How far away it is. Same goes with NikeI will give them kudos for amount of parking spaces. But I did go there at 6pm. Could be different in the mornings

Employees are wonderful and the quality of the products are great. The prices, even at the employee store are out of line. The looks of the products seem out of date or a step down from places like Nike and Adidas.

From what I can gather Columbia must pay their employees really well because they are the most happy and informative group of employees I’ve come across in a long time. Everybody that works in that store including Debbi at the front desk checking people in is absolutely magnificent. They knew about gear they were absolutely willing to help and they were super Duper informative.I’ve seen some reviews where people talk about the price or not every piece of gear is available. And my response to that is I’m just so thankful that I can go to a store to buy something in these difficult times let alone getting it at any type of discount. The discounts were fantastic. Not every color size shape in every piece of gear could fit in the store. It would need to be twice as big. The selection is more than enough to get some really cool stuff.I cannot thank Columbia enough for even doing this for people. I’m so grateful that I was able to go in there and get myself some incredible gear at a great discount.10 stars for a well run business!Lastly, not sure why anyone would bring up wearing a mask, or parking, or how crowded it is. The people there are so friendly and so willing to help! CJ made my day! He was SO nice and accommodating! I caught him as he was coming out of the employee section and asked him if he could do a product check for me and with the kindest tone that really made me feel like he actually meant it, said “I would love to.” He totally rocked and found the product in my size. As If his kindness wasn’t enough, the fact that he happily (and not cheesy over the top happy) hunted down the item in my size, literally made my day! 10/10 would recommend

If youre allowed a chance to go. I rarely saw anything that went over $110 (obviously some exceptions to products here and there. Everything I was interested in was less than $110) and everything is marked down by 20% at least. Store employees were friendly and helpful. Columbia makes fantastic products that last!

I want to give a huge shout out to DEBI Stracke at the front desk! I lost my wallet in the parking lot and a wonderful Samaritan turned it in. Debi, looked into my wallet and found my ID and looked me up to see if I was on the Friends and Family. She then emailed me asking me if I was at the employee store that evening and to call her back ASAP. I of course did and she was willing to let me pick it up @ 8:05pm (they close at 8pm) On top of that she let me run in and get what I was needing. I was able to thank the good Samaritan, pick up my shoes, get my wallet back and be out of the store by 8:15pm. It truly made my day and it was so wonderful to feel like there is still love and really good people out there! This is just one more reason to give Columbia my business.

Extremely unimpressed with the laziness. An employee, when checking out, asked me if I wanted the hangers and informed me they were just going to throw them away cause of covid. What!? So extremely wasteful. How hard is it for a business to buy bleach, or make some cleaning concoction, to clean hangers, that are not even fully touched by hands? Or, why not let the hangers sit for a week? I thought Columbia was better then this, and would want to make a difference for the better, not worse. So sad.

The enormous company store has products from several of the Columbia brands like Mountain Hardware, Prana and Sorel. The main problem is the price doesnt always seem discounted. Bought a stowable backpack here for a couple bucks MORE than at the outlet store a few days later. But if you can score a pass, its fun to look around.

Make sure you set a spending limit if you are lucky enough to get in this store! GREAT DEALS everywhere, especially if you are looking for a new sleeping bag or some other larger purchase. Jackets galore, and lots of quality items. Seriously on the spending though - so many great deals, you might go broke if you use the think of how much we are saving! mentality.

Everyone was masked. The place was packed for holiday shopping. 20% more off on many items with already reduced prices. Courteous and helpful staff. Many socially distanced checkout areas with plexiglass barriers up where you pay your bill for the purchased good quality merchandise. Lots of parking available and it is needed during this busiest time of year at Columbia Sportswear.

I love being able to go to the Employee Store and get the latest in great clothing, shoes and coats. All of their items are wonderful.

I felt frustrated at not finding a large enough sized raincoat on the racks. It wasn’t until I was walking towards the exit that I found a “woman’s” size section. While I did buy a coat, it was disappointing that the larger sized raincoats were in more garish colors and didn’t have the same selection. My taste isn’t any different than anyone else’s. Why on earth aren’t there plus-sized options of every style interspersed with the smaller sized clothing? I’m just a little wider in the hips, not a Martian.

Their clothing is awesome super lightweight and breathable and doesnt soak up sweat. I wish they carried year-round clothing year round. I recently went back looking for spring and summer t-shirts and they just didnt have any short sleeve t-shirts for men.

This was my first time ever going to this store and it started out a really great experience, the floor staff were very friendly and helpful and the deals were so awesome. My experience suddenly switched when I checked out. The lady who was helping me was very nice but the lady directly across from me who was checking out my mother was very rude. Very impatient with my mom and soon after my mom left I heard this lady talking to her coworker about how frustrating my mother was. I’m in customer service and I understand we get frustrated with our customers. Please just save that for the break room. I was standing 8 feet away and heard everything she was saying; Its very unprofessional.
